Thanks for watching. I've been also waiting to do this for a while, and I'm glad I finally did it. This product is really forgiving and durable as I had the car washed today using an automatic car wash, and the plasti dipped emblems look untouched.
Mask off a bigger area than you think is necessary- fine overspray travels all over. And put down two or three more coats than you were going to- makes peeling much easier.
The plasti dip is really forgiving. Get a hold of the plasti dip at the center of the lettering using the toothpick and a finger and pull away. If the inside of the lettering is too small, then you could use a tweezer. Hope that helps.

Is it easy to toothpick out the plastidip from inside the lettering?
