EOS was so popular! Definitely collected a few in the US many years ago 😂 x
I had about seven of them and thought they were the best thing ever even though they did nothing to my dry crusty lips :D
This is always my problem. EOS wasn't the biggest culprit for me but yeah. You put it on its good for a while and then an hour later you're worse off. Especially if your lips were already dry to begin with. Maybe these just seal in moisture so u have to find something to moisturize them first? Oh I recall the worst offender now. Maybelline baby lips. I loved the subtle tint on me, the menthol, it was so pretty your lips but better. Yet 15 mins later, lips drier than they started out.

I literally refused to buy them, but caved in a few weeks ago. The EOS Smooth Stick Lip Balm is sooo good!
I think Lip Smackers was the beginning of the end for all of us.

When you visit Japan, you'll have to try Argelan... It's a 'drugstore' (so American lols) brand I discovered. Calls itself am organic certified oil lip stick. The neroli orange flavour is unbelievable. I've only ever seen it in Japan

I also swear by the Nivea Deep Moisture pots - super cheap, too. I don't know if they're found outside Japan though
The DHC lip cream from Japan... it’s the only lip product I’ve used up multiple tubes of!
Ooh, I'm so glad you mentioned Argelan! I remember buying one ages ago for the packaging and the oil, but man, even without remembering the name I still think about how nourishing it was. Bonus points for it having a fragrance free version!
I have a huge lip balm obsession. I love this. Staying in quarantine means im doing alot of online shopping, i think ill pick up a few new ones.

have you tried the mint one? i’ve usually got a stick on me - i’ve found it feels more cooling than the usually tingly mint lip balm (not for everyone, but i really enjoy it).

After trying a lot of brands, i found my holy grial in the Cicaplast Balm from La Roche Posay. Is not cheap here in Uruguay, but it works divine for me

I love the Cicaplast balm! It was my holy grail until I discovered Nuxe Reve de Miel (pot form) so don't use it enough any more, but it's still a solid lip balm.

My new favorite is the Tatcha lip mask. It is SO hydrating. I suffer from super dry lips year round, and this is heaven. Plus, the packaging is really cute. On another note, I just discovered your channel this week, and I am hooked! What a breath of fresh air you are!!

I’ve been obsessed with the Burts Bees lip balms for years! I used to slather my lips in Blistex and the Body Shop coconut lip butter and now I’m thinking I should revisit them too 😄

Bite has frustrated me SO much. They’re a Canadian brand, and I’ve loved their lip mask and multisticks before they discontinued most of their makeup and reformulated. Not only are the reformulations AWFUL, but I am completely screwed once I run out of my favourite shade, “Praline”, which is totally un-dupeable.
Such a shame they reformulated. I understand the demand for vegan products, but I wish they'd just made an additional version. That way they could have kept vegan shoppers *and* original customers happy! 👍 x
i was wondering why the newer multistick i have from them (can’t remember the shade name, but it’s a really bold red) felt so dry. if you like a wash of colour, i found melting down the stick & mixing in a bit of moisturizer (popped it into a pot afterwards) made it a lot creamier & i’ve been using it as a lip/cheek tint. not the same pigmentation, but if you’d like your favourite shade as a tint, it could work for you.
Before you run out of the colour, you could try creating a good dupe at bite beauty lip lab? Assuming you’re in Canada since you mentioned bite is a Canadian brand, there’s one in Toronto.
For some reason I always come back to the thick lipbalms that hold a tingly sensation... it's a cooling comfort that I have gotten used to and I can't go back!
My favourites, due to their "cooling" sensations of course are blistex, palmers dark chocolate mint (can't wait to repurchase!) And the original peppermint berts bees... I'm a girl who loves her mint I suppose.

They're not necessarily 'bad', they just might not suit your lips! All about finding what works for you 👍 x

The fresh balm is one of my favorites. I agree that it is not the most hydrating but love the flavor. Coconut is hands down my favorite out of the 3 I've tried.

I love rediscovering a lip balm lost in the bottom of a purse! The Aveda lip saver has truly saved my split lips before, good thick formula. 👍 Great video!

My favourite lip balm is the Mega Balm All-Over Ointment from MCoBeauty. They hydrate my lips immediately and they don’t dry out so I almost never have to reapply. It also helped to clear up the dermatitis I was getting around my mouth from mask-wearing, I’d definitely recommend it!

Oh Caudalíe lip balm is amazing!!! So nourishing and not heavy on the lips, I have been in love with Burt bee's lip balm in Rose for ages... I have one of those on almost every bag of mine! I love the Clinique lip treatment... For a thick luxé treatment for my lips when they feel dry and in need of some love.... Loved your video as usual!!!! Keep them coming and stay safe!!!

i probably own every taste/shade of the yves rocher lip balms, it's an afforadble french brand and i just love their lip balms, they're everywhere - in my coat pocket, on my desk, on my nightstand, in my pencase, next to my sink, just yves rocher everywhere

I love those! I don't find them hydrating on me, but love the shade range so I treat them as more of a sheer lip colour 👍💄 x

Yes! I've definitely noticed that the coconut balm dot com is much shinier than the other flavors. it's one of my favorites too. I used to like stick formulas because I don't have to use my finger at all but I've recently found that I like pot and "gloss-like" applications more because they feel more nourishing to me

Always love a stick for convenience. Favourite formula has been Burt’s Bees for years now- peppermint/vitamin e flavour for hydration, and the grapefruit one for delicious taste

I reach for Laneige's lip sleeping mask the most. I can imagine it has the same texture as the Baume de Rose 😊
I don't find them very similar unfortunately Alex! Sadly Laneige didn't really work for me, but Baume de Rose certainly does. I find it much more creamy and luxurious, and the flavour is a lot less sweet 🌹 x
The Fresh Sugar pot in lemon meringue and the Advanced Therapy stick are my go-to balms before lip stick and bedtime! I find they really help my lips recover overnight and totally saved me during the winter. I really want to try the Go-To balm!

My absolute favorite is the Lancome Absolue Precious Cells Nourishing Lip Balm. Its a bit pricy but its texture is so creamy and nourishing, less of a balm and more of rich moisturizer for your lips! I highly recommend it!

I love the Nuxe rêve de miel balm in the pot and use it every morning and night. It has a thick consistency and smells like a mix of honey and grapefruit. When I‘ve used it up I will try the By Terry Baume de rose because you talk about it so much and I really love everything rose related. I can also recommend the burts bees honey lipbalm for everyday use, I usually have it in my handbag. Great video as usual! 🧡
Glad it works well for you Hannah! 👍 I used the Nuxe pot very regularly a couple of years ago but sadly didn't find it that effective on me. The texture was almost waxy so it felt like a good barrier but didn't seem to sink in or hydrate x

I love the lip balm videos. Happy to see a new one. And yes, I remember lip smackers from my childhood. I think it was almost every young girls first lip product. lol I prefer stick for my handbag but tube and pot at home. Stick is more convenient, sanitary, and easier to use so I use that more when I'm out and about or in public (well used to lol). Pot and tube since I use my fingers to apply is better at home. But I love them all. I currently use Blistex products and just bought a Neutrogena lip balm. My sister-in-law is obsessed with Burt's Bees.

I purchased the Lanolips Tinted Lip Balm in ‘Spice’ back in November and, though it was a “holiday” edition, I cannot get enough of it. It is nourishing, with a soft glossy red/brown tint, and has a gingerbread smell that takes me right back to christmas. If you are a cinnamon lover like me HIGHLY recommend. Also bonus, it’s 99% natural and not tested on animals.

i had the maple original bite lip mask and adored it! i'm on accutane and found it to be my go-to lip care product. i tried the tinted new formula and i love it too! not as thick for me, which is a little sad, but this one smells like vanilla and i positively adore the color. lip gloss without sacrificing my healing properties.
