What's more than likely gonna happen is your opponent will just focus both of its mons on Slaking (assuming we're playing in doubles) and that'll get him killed really quickly (Slaking doesn't have very good Special defense) Plus, doing this is going to sacrifice a Gardevoir and an Azumarill just for the chance of sweeping with Slaking. In Doubles Tournaments (like VGC) you're only allowed 2 pokemon. So that's half of your team wasted (Truant will go to gardevoir which makes it useless, and Azumarill is only good with Huge Power)
I’ve played this game literally dozens of times and I’ve battled* these two trainers 17:50 every time and I’ve never seen them pull a strategy this brutal
Yup slaking literally has basically the best stats in the entire game, having a higher attack than pretty much every single legendary in the game, and an HP + defense combo that’s the best in the game, but the CPU using skill swap twice on slaking and switching it to his only high leveled Pokémon was insanely smart, I’ve never even seen that before. Without his overleveled Pokémon that would’ve been an incredibly hard match to beat even with equal leveled cards

@Kanishk Nishar Basically Skill Swap switches your pokémon's ability with the one of the target pokémon. And Slaking's whole gimmick is that he has gargantuous stats but his ability handicaps him by only letting him use a move one out of two turns. Get rid of his ability, and Slaking will run amok and sweep through even legendaries.
@Kanishk Nishar his base stats are higher than mew 2, but he only gets to do anything once every 2 turns because of his ability to nerf him, they took that ability off slaking and gave it to their opponent so slaking is now a monster and the opponent only gets to move every other turn

I think it was because Steven had mostly steel types. Then you pack your team with fire and ground Pokemon, just to get to Steven and WELP have fun surviving Water Spouts! Source: me having played sapphire starting with Treecko and then starting Emerald with Torchic.

2:28 "You can do anything with enough items" My Heart Gold run was so underlevelled but i had so much money from using Amulet Coin and Luck Incense that i just spammed Revives every turn. My Ampharos with static, thunderwave, flash, and a brightpowder would eventually paralyze and reduce the enemy's accuracy enough to win. Thanks to Full Restores, i had to paralyze and defeat every pokemon twice. It was a slog but it was honestly really fun. And that's why i really hated when they buffed the Exp Share so all my pokemon were level 100 before I even finished the elite four. 😢

Casual don't know about them. Pros don't use them because they are op and broken you can literally solo with any pokemon if you have x items. Only used in speedruns. I ban items in my nuzlocke runs because of how broken they are.

Also, damn, Dusclops is REALLY slow when it can be out-sped by an Ampharos that is 14 levels lower than it. Because Ampharos is NOT a fast Pokémon. Base speed is 55. Dusclops' is 25.

Also, damn, Dusclops is REALLY slow when it can be out-sped by an Ampharos that is 14 levels lower than it.
Because Ampharos is NOT a fast Pokémon. Base speed is 55. Dusclops' is 25.
