Overproduction? China does not even sell EV or solar panels to the US instead they are sold to the rest of the world. Poor countries need and want cheaper green EV and solar panels. We are just angry that China is preventing us from selling expensive good to poor countries. 😂

The Nations who used to supply cheap or free resources for industrial production,
now appear to appreciate trading among their Peers.
The US Sanctions that the US applies to nations who now seem to trade with BRICS Group,
seem to have 70% of available resources and the G-7 Guys have to share the remainder.

The purpose of Yellen's visit was never about China or China/US trade arrangements. Its target audience is not the Chinese people or Chinese leaders.
The purpose of her visit is to tell the American Public (who are voting in the coming elections), to unite against China and its unfair policies that is causing hardship to the voters of USA. US government knows that the last 4-5 presidents have not done anything that is credible and good to the country or to the ordinary Americans who voted for them. They know they can't solve the domestic problems like ancient telecommunications, power, civil and human infrastructure that is the result of neglect over the last 3-4 decades.
They just need to delay the timing and distract the voters so that the Democrats can hold onto power and continue to fleece off the country and borrow another 10-15 trillion USD (over the next 5 years).
US government's strategy is to distract, confuse, and delay any action by China or its own people. If these strategies prove to be ineffective, they will accuse China and Russia, and probably incite more wars to distract the rest of the world for the next 5 years.
