      Hello, try and contact MMA recruitment they might help, as an enrolled nurse you will be recruited as a care assistant.

    Hello there, which institute do you recommend to obtain the nursing certificate and typically how long will it take ?

    • @themthethos8994

      Hello Bontle, diploma is 3 years and a degree is 4 years. You can choose whether you go for diploma or degree. There are many institutions in South Africa depending on where you are. Each province has a nursing college that is run by the government and usually is a 3 year diploma and also different universities offer the degree. Hope this helps

      You can come and work as a care assistant provided you have experience in health care setting, preferably in nursing or elderly care homes

      Recruitment agencies should be free, they don’t charge any fees for finding you a job

      No experience required but you must be registered as a nurse in your home country before you register with NMC

    What's a care home?

    • @themthethos8994
      @themthethos8994  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Is a facility where elderly people are cared for instead of their own homes, we have a few in South Africa but it is not a common practice. In the UK elderly people are cared for in care homes whenever they are no longer able to independently live in their homes
