  • I will tell you for real what many don't tell you about relocating abroad, especially UK and USA! I broke some promises because of my financial expectations prior to relocating abroad, hopefully you don't do the same.

    Not everyone knows the realities of England when you just arrive.
    I arrived in UK 27 years ago and the first instruction I got from my aunt was:
    No credit or store card letters to her address.
    No immigration information from a friend, you're going to Luna House in Liverpool to get all the legal information.
    You will take a pen and pad with all your questions.
    No marriage before you know how do things in the people in UK
    I listened and I 've never find myself in difficulty regarding finances and immigration was a swift ride by then.
    It made my stay in UK a blessed experience and am grateful when I hear how things are now or how people are deceived by debt creators.
    Keep sharing you're a blessing to the ones who listen Son❤

    You had good intentions towards your parents at home but UK government had other ideas😂. I disagree that they don't charge us for the air we breathe, they do and it's disguised as some other tax! Life is really expensive in this country. I'm from Eswatini and I've lived in the UK for 29 years now.

    Hi Solomon. Mind sharing with us how to approach starting a youtube channel on a skilled worker's visa? Everywhere I turn I'm seeing that it isn't allowed.
    How can someone in their 1st year approach this? Are we allowed to monetize the channel? Does it have to be related to medicine if we're on a health care visa? Or is it a case that we can start a youtube channel and only monetize it after gaining citizenship?

    I believe you are still single. Do you think it's easier for a two-person family (a couple only)?
    Do you think it easier for different jobs? Say IT

    • @NurseSolomonKing
      @NurseSolomonKing  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      😁 I’m married boss. And, yes, I believe, looking back, that it is definitely easier if you’re a couple with no children yet. Hopefully the couple can truly work together as one unit in every way, particularly in their finances; it is easier.
      As for whether working at a different makes anything easier, well… yes and no. Not everyone in IT is making a lot more money than people in other careers, especially when starting out. But, it may be easier in terms of the flexibility to work from home. You may be able to do a lot of side hustles if working from home, which can translate to more for the family.

      @@NurseSolomonKing Abi now, but in all honesty, you guys have it good because of the advent of the internet, which provides an abundance of information. When I came to the UK in '96, there was little information available, and the Nigerians I met were hoarding and hiding information, which led to me making many mistakes along the way. My advice to incoming Nigerians is to make it their duty to constantly ask questions-not just from fellow Nigerians but also from people of other nationalities, such as white and Indian people. Compare all the information you gather and, of course, use the internet to understand how this country operates. I'm still learning to this day, even from your channel, which is why I subscribed. I'm learning, and you continue to do great work. Keep it up! Info about uk can be seen on this site self - www.gov.uk
