Thank you for your reviews and recipes. I have to give you credit for introducing me to the chaffle and the chancake. I make some version of one of those several times a week now. P.S. I lost 110 lbs (80 of them after starting keto) 3 years ago and have kept it off living the low carb lifestyle so I appreciate the new recipes and all the new products that are now coming out. Its a relief to not have to spend so much time cooking and preparing food. Thanks again!
1/4 c coconut chips, 1/4 c sunflower seeds. 1/4 cup pumpkin seeds. 1/4 cup mixed nuts or nuts of choice. 1/8 cup flax. Grind all of them in a coffee grinder or a food processor, and a pinch of salt. The morning you are going to be eating this, pour a cup of almond milk into it. When ready, add some more milk and heat to eating temp. Add Pyure, or other sweetener, and butter if you like. More nuts can be subbed for less sunflower seeds and any other nut/seed type can be added. DO NOT sub out the flax! That is what thickens the cereal to make it stick together. Make ahead of time into serving units and store in air tight containers. Keep in fridge.
I purchased a bag of the blueberry one as soon as I watched your review. Received it Saturday and holy cow it's good! Added it to my almond milk yogurt and I was in heaven. I hate cooking and don't meal prep so this is perfect for me! Thanks for introducing me to this Steve! :)
I wonder if you could update some of your granola recipes with Keto Chow in some way? We don’t get Keto Chow here yet but I love my homemade granola and change up the flavour with extracts, nut butters and low carb or enriching spices.
Just ordered the 3-pack of original, blueberry nut and cacao. Have you tried the two different Costco Keto granolas? One is by Autumn’s Gold Organic and one by Nature’s Path Organic. Nature’s Path says Keto Certified on the package, but that statement is questionable since it contains coconut sugar and syrup and contains 6 net carbs per 1/2 cup serving. It’s more paleo than Keto, but it is tasty-as is the Autumn’s Gold Organic, which is Keto. I forgot to mention 20 oz is only 16.99 and less expensive than the Low Karb brand.
Oh, I definitely will at some point -- but the good folks at Low Karb asked me to try out their product, hence this review for folks who might not be interested in making their own.
@@SeriousKeto have been thinking that. Live on a Bayfield 25 sailboat, so yes thinking about a 29. Also watching you here on YT has me getti g more into low carb. Been low carb for 2 years and have added Keto meals in the past month. And have just started OMAD on this past Sunday and I am liking it already. The daily weigh ins are looking good just need to see what my weekly is on Saterday.
Add flax seed and sunflower seeds and that is the recipe for my hot cereal breakfast. Ground up of course. Not granola like. More like cream of wheat or Wheatena
Keto Connect has a granola recipe that uses coconut flakes, nuts, etc. I cant find the recipe right now to include the link. Thought I'd throw that out to you. My conscience wont let me pay that price for something I can make. Love your channel! It has helped me so much!
Some people are more into keto convenience foods, others are more in the "I'll make it myself" camp. Like you, I'm in the latter -- but I know I have viewers who maybe don't have the time or desire to make certain things for themselves. So, I try to serve both groups. 😀
We use Julian Bakery's ProGranola with organic plain yogurt I get at the Health food store, but I would love a cheaper option and this fit the bill. Thanks for the review./Kathy
Yikes the price! The biggest complaint I hear from non-keto friends is how expensive keto is lol. BTW Steve, you seem to be aging in reverse. I really enjoy seeing your daughters in the videos they are so honest. Thanks!
With the number of blood ketone tests out there with sugar alcohol usage, you'd think the whole argument of counting the carbs at all would be bypassed by now. At least with the good options like xylitol and erythritol.
Have you lost your weight counting net carbs? I've done the diet with 20 total carbs per day. I t just seems like there are so many things I could have if I could trust the net carb thing. I used the low carb diet way back before they brought in the net carb idea and it's hard to trust it. What worked for you?
I've lost over 70 lbs. About 60 of those came from counting carbs. I don't actively count carbs now, as I'm in maintenance mode and I have a pretty good feel for what foods and what quantities I can eat. But what works for me doesn't mean that it will work for everyone...
Very true. But if a company wants to send me a product to review, I'm going to do it. Also, you're probably aware of this, but there a lot of people in the keto community who are less into cooking and more into convenience. When this bag runs out, I'll make my own batch (and probably a video). 🙂
I have tried the code on two different PCs and it worked both times. I entered the code before I entered my name and address and it took just fine. Please give that a try and let me know what happens. In the meanwhile, I have sent an email to Low Karb. We'll get this squared away.
Hi Rita! Actually, just to amend my respond, it doesn't look like our codes are case sensitive. They should work whether you type them in upper or lower-case. If you're still having this issue, it may be a browser specific problem. If you continue to have trouble using our code, let us know so we can look into this further for you.
I just went to the site and entered the code and it applied the 10% discount. I typed it in manually (in lower case). Not sure if that makes any difference.

That's a great accomplishment -- both the weight loss and the maintenance. 👍
Steve will you please do a recipe of this if it saves money and taste just as good?? If you do I’ll thank you now! Lol
It's on my list. I have a few other requests I need to get to first...

Crafty Chrystal Thanks so much!
This looks good in a pinch, but I when I have a craving for cereal I go to Hy-Vee for Sola ($7-8 per bag) Eagerly awaiting your granola recipe! 😚

Glad you enjoyed it!
I love being informed of new convenience Keto foods. As long as no unhealthy vegetable oils I’ll give it a try. Ordered a bag. Ty.
I reviewed this as well and put it into my keto chocolate chip cookies and oh my goodness it's good!
Please try Lollies low carb granola, it's super soft and moist cookie crumbles. I prefer it over the hard kind.

Hi Steve, try Keto Connects Granola. It's so delicious, many more serving & less expensive.
I will do that. Thanks!
Would you consider making a low karb Keto granola?
When I get done eating this bag, I think I'll have to. 😀

I have not seen those at my Costco yet, but thanks for the heads up. I'll keep my eyes peeled. 👍
STEVE! I’m sure you could develop a recipe That is even better an less expensive. How about it ?

There is so much good stuff you make. I am having storage issues here on the boat. 😊
That makes me think of the line from Jaws: "We're gonna need a bigger boat". 😄

I have my eye on this one - only I will add cinnamon and some orange rind.

Y Xiong They keep asking me to be an affiliate marketing partner with them and I keep telling them “no” because I feel the price is too high.
I eat one meal a day on keto so the way I see it if a keto meal cost 2 times a normal meal i am still saving 30%. Lol

Hello, have you tried Bochasweet yet? Please tell us what you think 🤔
Della Dearest It’s my favorite “non-controversial” sweetener. I just wish it were less expensive.
Serious Keto
To those who have a business, it’s sold wholesale at 50 lbs. which can be sold/shared with friends and family?
@@delladearest2511 That's good info if I start making any of my recipes commercially. Thanks!
This cereal is seriously addictive. Given that its advertised as being Keto, I'm not convinced that it really is keto??

I was referring to net carbs vs total carbs.
No offense intended here...
But this is SO easy to make at home and way way cheaper. And you can control the ingredients.

John M got a recipe you can share?
Nice review, but I'd like to see your version!😀🍃🎃
I'll get around to it. I need to finish this bag first -- which could take some time since I pretty much just do one meal per day.
Yay I have to buy some
update ive had the one from costco, different flavor and like it. Sams Club sells this online which brought me here. Thanks You #1.

Low Karb , just tried it again .. it did not work , but it may be a browser problem? I’m on a iPad?
Will try a PC and see if that works
