I know when booking this cruise I was trying to get as much info as possible so here is nearly the entire embarkation process for MSC Yacht Club members from leaving the car to sitting down in the Yacht Club lounge. We were boarding the MSC Seascape at the Miami port in October and it was our first time cruising.
For all of the fuss I heard about the boarding process for cruises MSC Yacht club makes it a BREEZE.
I cut as little as possible so you can get a true representation of the process. I filmed it on my cell phone clipped to my bag so the video is a little wonky, but hopefully it's not too distracting!
As a veteran of the MSC Yacht Club, I can say this was a great look at the Yacht Club embarkation experience. For everyone else, I can say that this video does not do it justice. My wife and I had the same initial reaction when we stepped into the Top Sail Lounge for the first time aboard the MSC Divina back in 2016. We have been Yacht Club cruisers ever since. In my opinion it is 'dollar-for-for dollar' the best value in luxury cruising on the high seas. Is Disney Concierge better - yes; Is the Celebrity Retreat Class better, yes. But go compare prices of a Concierge Suite against a Yacht Club suite and you'll see the price difference. Great video. Your wife's initial reaction to the Top Sail Lounge and your deluxe suite was priceless.
Thanks so much for sharing this detailed video. The information is very helpful. The only issue is that you have made my husband and I more excited about our upcoming Anniversary Cruise in April 2024 . 😂 Seriously, watching this video and getting a glimpse of the MSC Yacht Club embarkation experience is absolutely awesome. Knowing what to expect definitely relieves the stress for first-time MSC Yacht Club cruisers . Thank you again. We can't wait!
So glad it was helpful! I'll have a tour of the room, lounge, and pool area uploaded this week as well. It really is just an amazing experience, you're going to have such a great time.
Congratulations 🎉. It's mine, too in April. Were in YC on the Meraviligia in April
We just got back from Seascape YC cruise. Where you bottlenecked on the gantry, our butler took us past all the other passengers to the front of the line.
From dropping our bags with YC staff to being escorted onboard to the Top Sail Lounge, was 17 mins.
We got a lot of nasty looks following the butler, especially as it was hot on the gantry; but you are paying a premium for priority embarkation & disembarkation.
The bottle neck was pretty much our YC group after we had bypassed everyone already, on the cruise we definitely didn't have the same issue.
Great video. You are correct about not going back to "regular" cruising. I was on Seascape right after you went(Nov. 11th) and this was my third time in YC. It is every bit worth the price.
Great video. We sailed for Thanksgiving, and it was Amazing. We too stayed on deck 16 and it was so convenient going to the lounge.
Right? Definitely going for a similar location on the next one.
Last cruise from port canaveral june 24 , 15 minutes from escalator outside terminal to cabin. No waiting anywhere. Fantastica booking.
The Swiss are incredible hosts. They sure know how to make you feel V.I.P!❤ MSC
The swiss? Isnt msc italian?

My goodness, this is great video ❤❤❤❤❤❤
I am going on Seascape next month 🎉🎉🎉🎉thank you for sharing
Lots of queueing there!! All other videos guests flew through with their Butler! Weird the difference.
Blue diamond uses yatch club luggage and yatch club check in. Diamond member's don' get that they have a different line. Not as short and regular security.
“are we cruise people now?” That what I said in 2022 after 15 yrs of only “Hiking and National Park Vacations “ I/ we will never go back. MSC yacht Club and Celebrity Retreat have spoiled us.
The baggage drop off area looked totally unorganized
Thank you so much for the video!!! So informative and helpful!
I'm glad it helped!
Did the staff put a tag on your luggage? How can they identify your luggage?
Thank you very much. I've book the Yacht Club on Seascape and Meravilgia for 2025. I book cabins on the same level as the Top Sail Lounge and my cabin on Meravilgia is basically right at the lounge.😁 I booked the Yacht Club because otherwise everything is a zoo basically.
It's a really great location!
Quelle était votre numéro de chambre ?
Merci, très belle vidéo

Great video! Our family is doing the same cruise and Yacht Club in March. We are driving in from NC. Did you have any issues parking in the garage? I did notice some empty spots. I was thinking about cruise parking across the bridge.
If you're in yacht club your embarkation time doesn't matter(if you got one) so go ahead and come earlier to the garage by the terminals. They cost a little more that the garages across the bridge, but you save the hassle of shuttles and can just walk straight across.
We got there about 10:15 or 10:30, the previous passengers had mostly cleared out so the garage was open and as yacht club you pretty much walk straight through(as you saw in the video) so getting there earlier is worth it as you can start hanging out in the yacht club area pretty much immediately until the rooms are ready.
@@ChrisParrishOutdoors That's what I was thinking and hoping. I appreciate it! My wife and I are checking out your other videos now. Thanks!
I’d second this & recommend utilizing the port Parking Garage. While YC uses the East entrance Terminal C & C parking lot is just passed the West entrance. I dropped the wife & bags at drop off & parked the car with no issues. Paid $154 for the week at the barrier. Easily finding a spot on the second floor. 5 min walk to Wifey.
The parking lot is reported to be locked down while the ship is out. No one else parks or leaves there.
Port security, Dade County Sheriff & Miami Dade police all patrol the area as well as DHS. You’d be pretty foolish to go looking for cars to break into at a Port, as it would be a federal offense.
Yes, you can find cheaper lot parking in Miami, but you don’t know how safe or secure that lot is; plus you now have to taxi/uber there & back. Rather than get in your car & leave. Enjoy yourselves!!
I'm sure you mentioned it but I don't want to rewatch to see... What time did you get there to time things right?
Thanks for the great video!
I must have at some point, but at any rate we walked out of the garage at around 10:30 which seems to be a good time to catch easy parking and to board for us at least.
@@ChrisParrishOutdoors Thank you!
@@ChrisParrishOutdoors What is the earliest you can get on the ship? Does it make a difference if you're in the YC or not, to the earliest time you can get on? I've been looking everywhere for this type of information, but can't find any official information. We're staying over near port the night before, so would like to make the most of our first day on the ship 🙂
@@ChrisParrishOutdoors and at what time was your room ready?
What a Lovely Experience! Question: Does the Yacht Club Guests have their own Muster Station/Checking area as well?
The muster station is done by ship section so for that it's not just Yacht club. Keep in mind Yacht club is only something like 200 cabins among several thousand. That said that muster drill was super efficient and was kind of a fun experience.
@@ChrisParrishOutdoors thank you for the super fast response! I definitely enjoy the vlog and found lots of answers to the many questions I had in mind.
Muster stations are always located on decks near to lifeboats. Never top decks. Because your muster station is where you'll meet to evacuate.
Top deck would be a dangerous place to evacuate from. 😉.
This was your first cruise? Beautiful ship!
It was! We were lucky enough to catch the Seascape on the inaugural year at sea!
@@ChrisParrishOutdoors Did this have the same Atrium, as the MSC Seaview?
What time did you arrive at the dock, after parking?
I'm not sure about that specifically, but we left the garage around 10:30 and were in the lounge by 11:15 or so.
Can you leave the bags off before parking?
I don't think so, but you'll want to park before hand anyway because of the way the port is set up it's just easier.
Lots of Yacht
Club folks at same time?
It seems like they tried to do it in more manageable groups
When you check in this is for YC only
Yep! I mentioned it at the beginning briefly.
Too fast the Video
In Yacht club. Leave your case with those at the Yacht Club Marquee. Not with the other luggage guys.
Definitely! I don't think I mentioned that's what we were doing in the video.
We’ve done it twice. The money is worth it just to skip the lines, and have your own superior amenities and not have to mingle with the peasants.
