I play this deck with an Elder Brain and a few land upgrades and the better my oppo enta deck the better my win chance is. Tonight I played against a CEDH elfball, a CEDH mono white lifegain deck and a very strong dino deck. My precon with one creature and 5 lands swapped rocked all three of em, damn they were salty about it too lolol
filter lands are great on a budget, they come untapped and are great every time except the first turn. I'm not paying more than 3€ for a land lmao, they're staying
I built a pretty good Gonti deck and i drew the hate almost IMMEDIATELY. Was told mothman is okay because everyone gets milled and has some kind of recursion, but stealing stuff is just insufferable. And with Study, my pod always pays to spite whoever plays it so it never triggers
Would you guys ever consider doing a $500 upgrade videos of precons? Not that I'm gonna drop that much on a deck, but I'd be interested to see what you guys could do with that.
We’ve tinkered around with the idea but ultimately we found the majority of the time we’re just throwing in powerful staples to really make the deck hum. At a certain point we start building a deck around the commander instead of upgrading the deck lol. In short, not saying it’s a no but just a not at this moment.
I think Edric is better in the deck than people give him credit for. One of the big issues the deck has is the majority of its creatures are little 1/1 unblockable dudes,nap not a lot of good blockers. On top of that, people don't like having their cards stolen, so you tend to get targeted down. I think Edric or anything else that encourages your opponents to send their attackers elsewhere is going to do work. I'm also adding propaganda and gix Yawgmoth praetor to my list .
I’ve never had luck with theft decks. ALWAYS get targeted first. It’s sad cause in reality I’m not gonna combo off I’m just making the game more interesting than watching someone play solitaire it’s unfortunate people react this way to these kinda decks
Yup! You can play the land whenever you’re allowed to play the land. The cards exiled with opposition agent can be played regardless if opposition agent dies.
@@GuysThatMagic saying something that it starts the game off too early with a 0 drop that people use to their advantage is what I heard, but every time I look it up, and on the mtg site it's banned in commander
Ok so not a 300 dollar upgrade... its a 300 dollar second upgrade... i would like to see a proper out of the box $300 upgrade. In my opinion it changes what your doing. It changes what you might want to add... because some of us only want to do the $300 and not $400 🤷♂️

Understandable but this is the bigger budget upgrade. Gotta take them out in my eyes -Hunter

with 500 you just end up putting boring ass staples, not worth it

You might be looking at the wrong card. The original Moxs are banned but Mox Amber is legal.

We add the $100 into our total for the $300. So it’s the total of the $100 upgrade plus ~$200 more to equal $300
