The way Caesar looks at his son when he speaks for the first time to him, it's like he was proud of him for speaking to him because this was the moment Caesar knew his son will actually listen to him this time.
That's not the first time Blue Eyes spoke in the movie, right before Caesar shuts up all of the apes in circle with that "NO!" Blue Eyes says "Koba Right" and Caesar heard that making an angry expression...
It's unsaid but Caesar now understands why Will did what he did in the pervious movie and how he must have felt afterwards. He knows now that Will put his trust in the wrong people too because they were human. That mistake cost him everything dear; his father, his son, his way of life, his whole world. As much as Caesar loved his human father, he didn't understand him until now that he's in he same position Will was all those years ago.
i think it's an interesting thing, how they made it he saw both good and bad humans and thought some how if apes can rise above from the divide, but found out, it doesn't matter the species there will always be good and bad on each side
It's hard to tell someone that this monster of a person killed your best friend, especially if that someone you're telling this to is your father/mother.
The acting is incredible, when Blue eyes was telling Caesar that Koba killed Ash, you could see with his facial expressions that he was about to burst into tears with sadness. The facial expression made was so good. The acting in the trilogy, especially for the apes, is fantastic.
0:15 The way Caesar looks at his son, you can see in his eyes the relief to see him, and the love he has for him and how grateful and proud he is of Blue Eyes. The thought of loosing his son (and his family) would be a unbearable. So sad that it happened
it's pretty reflective of human history. imagine for something like religion where Ceaser, Like Jesus, taught about being peaceful with others, only for later down the line people use their name and their teachings to commit horrible deeds, much like Proximus did when he took Ceaser's name for himself and used Ceaser's teachings in a corrupt way
It's a shame what happens in the next movie. Blue Eyes had a lot of character development here. Caesar was a true leader. He admits he's not perfect. He couldn't see the threats among his group and now a needless war has started. It's not his fault, he just saw it too late.
I love this moment where his son opens up to his father telling him about Koba's actions to the other apes. It shows their true father and son bond where they trust each other and Blue Eyes can reveal Koba's true nature when Caesar not around and recovering from his injuries. Even when Blue Eyes apologized about everything that's happened, Caesar would then say it's all his fault for trusting Koba in the first place. But you can't be mad at both of them because Koba is nothing but just evil and only wanted to kill humans after what they did to him in the past. When i saw this scene I couldn't be mad at them because I felt sorry for the both of them. Blue Eyes seeing a friend of his get killed and Caesar knowing his friends are being prisoners because of Koba. It's heartbreaking to see these two go through so much hell and just seeing them have a moment together really does touch your heart. Since Family is always there for each other and same with their friends who stayed loyal to Caesar and didn't follow to Koba.
Underrated character is Dreyfus, like we see him say he's gonna kill the apes if Malcplm doesn't coem back, then when lights got back on, we see him weeping for his family who was long gone by the virus, then him prepping up a soldier, only to see him die in battle, in this movie, while Koba is most to blame, it's all actions from the previous movie, and the time between that makes this conflict and I love it
I loved it how Caesar and Blue-Eyes had a father/son moment together. 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 THAT WAS A LOVING/SWEET PART! 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
This would have been more touching if Blue Eyes asked his father about Will. Ceaser telling his son on how Will took him in after his mother was killed in captivity. Trying to protect him. Will raised Ceaser as his own son. Taught him everything he knows. Including sign language.
One of my favourite father and son moment in movies. I really still hate it when the Colonel kills innocent Blue Eyes and Cornelia. If I were in the movie, I would have killed the Colonel earlier.
Underestimating the person you hate is going to get you only in trouble. You’d be just as cold-hearted and stubborn as him. That’s a common thing when people feel like teaching someone a lesson through violence; they don’t care to understand what will be coming. They only care about what to do to the other person and underestimate him or her.
