Yanagiya Tozaburo Brings Rakugo to the Bay Area

As part of our Traditional Arts in Modern Japan series, the Japanese Chamber of Commerce of Northern California in cooperation with Japan Society of Northern California brought back the world of Rakugo!
Due to strong demand from our previous Rakugo performance, we were pleased to host master Rakugo storyteller Mr. Tozaburo Yanagiya. Tozaburo has been performing all over Japan since 1999 and the United States since 2018. On April 14th, he showcased his talents and spot-on delivery while performing various Rakugo skits for a delighted audience.
