- The Movistar team bus is a bit of a classic - it's been around since 2005!

There's a lot of history on this bus, you can even go as far as saying this bus was a bit of a trend-setter when it burst on the scene in 2005.
Even 10 years down the line, we think it's still one of the best at this year's Giro D'Italia.

Even 6 months ago I would have wondered why such a video even existed, but having bought a road bike late last year after a few years of cross-biking I now find this not only an important video record for humanity in general, I also find it one of GCN's best ever videos.
It has Si, it has pink GCN shirts (arm-pits notably unstained, might I add), it has pro bus drawer inspections, it has insights into the history of pro teams' buses (why, WHY do I find this interesting??!!). Surely there could be nothing more to complete a perfect GCN road cycling video.
Except Matt failing once again to clip in.
Or Matt sliding backwards down a hill.
Or Matt wearing budgie smugglers for...actually no apparent reason other than that he seems to enjoy the money shots.
Or Matt falling slowly over viciously deceptive stationary small logs.
I love this videos and I wonder how you ask teams ... "Hey, we want to make a video inside of your bus, and we are going to open every door, every drawer and every backpack to see what´s inside ... " What surprise me most is that they agree, nice work !!

I would love to see a video of Matts ,Simons and Dans bike shed and them talk through what they keep and if they have collected any cycling remobilia throughout the years.

You can definitely see the age on that bus. That being said I've never had a bus on any of my races.
GCN, you should apply for an official press pass to the tour De France and the other major races. You have a subscription base of 450,000 viewers and that is more than most major cycling magazines. There is no reason why GCN does not have a press pass.

+Kevin Lee Whatz Up Kevin. Think about it. GCN could present their content with more meaningful subject mater, and break out of the mode most of the bike sites have taken. For example, Haute Raute, the toughest amateur timed bicycle event in the world has been on for two weeks now, and GCN has not made one report on that event. Folks, GCN should be at Haute Raute! We amateur riders are the bicycle industries bread and butter. There is some serious riding at Haute Raute. GCN should be there.
Yes tour of Spain is top shelf, but Haute Raute - the toughest 21 days a amateur can ride and not one report from GCN.
GCN is almost 600,000 subs. Let's face it, very few of those 600,000 people will ever earn money from riding, but we can spread the word about events that have the caliber of Haute Raute and Grand Fonda New York (GFNY) and those events should be on GCN's report list.
I've looked through the play list and you do not have done every team bus of every team in uci world tour. You have missed two uci world tour teams. They are FDJ and Ag2r la mondiale. Just wanted to point out Simons mistake. I STILL LOVE GUYS. This the best cycling youtube channel. Thank you.

Loving Matt's commentary on Eurosport, spotted The Boss doing podium interviews and Si on bus tour and bike tech duties...setting the bar high for the Tour! Julian Baker He does indeed, but in his defence the roof of the bus was so low he had to bend double.

What were buses like before Movistar ushered in a new era of buses?
Curious; when teams leave Europe, do they take their buses, or rent new ones? I recall in the Tour of California, Team Sky was using branded buses but they looked to be much smaller than what we saw in Europe; maybe leased or rented buses with a quick custom vinyl wrap?
+Romans Five|Eight they will lease or rent their vehicles when outside Europe - some teams have the budget to get their vehicles livered up to look like they do in Europe, others won't.

I understand the sentiment, however I think the fact that Si doesn't dress up in the pro riders helmets etc (cos that's just what we see on camera!) is more reassuring than Matt's "Silence of the Lambs skin-suit" take on Bus Tours, wherein he puts on every article of equipment he can find. All good fun of course.
