Fantastic video with NO annoying commentary or 15 minutes of time wasted at the beginning while the presenters blab on about themselves. Simple and easy to follow (although there are some cooking techniques that I'd personally change). Will def be trying a lot of these. Thanks sooo much!
@@ericwalker6546so true. Blessed are the leisurely! Nothing better than roasting a shit ton of veggies + several cloves of garlic coated in some good olive oil then tossed with whole wheat spaghetti. So easy, delicious and affordable.
i love this video. i’m trying to transition into veganism but have been kind of lacking on solid dinner/weekday recipes. this channel is amazing. thank you sm
if u really wanna become vegan, just don't overdo it. take ur time. at first, have flesh only once per week. then start considering ham & sausages as flesh too. then start considering 3 slices of ham enough for 1 week. then leave out the eggs. then the mayo. then go on with milk & cream, cheese as last (cuz "no cheese" is rly difficult). THEN have LOTS of veggies with noodles & rice, because u basically don't miss all the abovely mentioned stuff in there. after 1 year with only veggies and salads and so on, u may consider trying around with cheese-imitates (and other imitates), because unless u forgot how the stuff "would originally taste" u won't be able to enjoy the vegan imitates. 2 producers i can FULLY recommend: Hobelz for sausages SimplyV for cheeses (and if u find an Edeka shop, their "housemark" mayonese is amazingly tasty, better then egg-mayo - even nonvegans say so!)
Chickpea and green lentil curry is easy 😍 really nutritious as well. Add some broccoli/spinach for that iron goodness 😁. Boil lentils, add chickpeas. Fry diced onions, garlic, and ginger. Add tbs flour and turmeric. Then add mixture to the lentils and chickpeas. Add curry paste, tsp soy sause, sesame oil. Let simmer. Then add a tbs of coconut milk and ground black pepper, or to taste. Hope this helps! I know what it's like to be struggling for good recipes.
That music is more '80s than '80s music ;^) The spaghetti dishes flanking this video look the best. Super easy for quick or last minute meals. Thanks for posting them.

It all seems very underseasoned. Where are the spices? And some of the noodle dishes in particular would really benefit from the addition of garlic and/or onion.
Blimey, these guys can't win. If they use more salt, the health police are on them arguing the use of salt is damaging to health. If they use a healthy amount, it's not enough! Ffs you can add salt to your taste along with spices and chilli! Give them a break.
@Nicole ur tastenerves are just overworked. try eating completely w/o salt & sugar for 1 month and u will understand what harm the food industry did to u!
2:14 Looks like they tried to replicate gochujang with miso, paprika, cayenne & maple syrup. Would have been more authentic if they at least used gochugaru (Korean chili powder) instead of paprika & cayenne. Gochujang doesn't always contain soybeans (miso), since the one that I buy from a Korean market doesn't include that in the ingredients. So their recipe may be more like ssamjang, which is a combination of gochujang & doenjang (Korean soybean paste).
Yep, that rice did not look like risotto rice; looked more like the fat round sticky Orginario or Roma type grains used for arancini (or rice pudding!).
Im not certain but you can substitute red wine for red wine vinegar, its not alcoholic but has the same acidic wine flavour. Could also probably use vegetable stock

I hate these multi-recipe dish videos. It makes it impossible to save the recipe according to the specific dish. Who wants to sit thru an entire video just to get a recipe when one is in a hurry to make something to eat. Best to make individual recipes, with the name of the dish in the title so that we can save them accordingly. Something for you to think about.

So agree with u!
Use pasta water instead of the splash of water in the cacio e pepe recipe. It emulsifies and binds the sauce better

They made the gochujang from scratch.

Awesome but I need to say that the rice that is used for risotto is called "arborio rice". But man those dishes! I'm in love.

Why don’t they let the oil heat up first before throwing anything in..
Olive oil does not taste good if it's overheated
Who’s talking about over heated. Just heat the oil before puttting anything in.
@@xlisa040 it is already heated for a few seconds. Anything more and it won't taste good.
Bonham Carter I use olive oil all the time. That just ain’t true. Few seconds aren’t enough.
