Wow this game looks super cool, the art and aesthetic is awesome, and the idea is so origional and interesting! Can’t wait to see more and play this game :)
Looks very productive and nice story line , are you planning to have small weapons as a price in the game ? That can be done for the future , keep it up 👍
Thanks for the comment and the suggestion Mjay! One of the main ideas of the game is that you can't fight back the enemy so I'm not sure about weapons. Maybe a nonlethal weapon to slow the enemy down or effect it in a different way might be cool
Hey man, looking really cool and extremely polished so far! My only observation/suggestion is that the levels seem a bit flat, this may be the look you are going for but I think adding more verticality and variety would make gameplay way more interesting and challenging. Otherwise things look really really cool so far!
Hey man, thanks for the kind words. Level design is definitely an area I struggle with. I'm thinking about bringing the random level generation back soon so levels are probably going to change a lot. If you haven't already check out the trailer, it features more levels and some have more vertical structures in them
Love the progress u showed in your devlog. Since it is a game about being chased, perhaps allowing the player to slide or roll might make things more interesting? Perhaps a flying monster as well. Keep it up mate!
Thanks for the comment! There are items that you get after each level that give you different powers. For example, you can get an item that gives you the ability to wall climb. I originally had crawling but decided to take it out, might add it back in a future version! Your game SnakeEyes looks very interesting :)
Well, I'm simply using the name, there is no Beholder monster visible in the game(the one chasing you isn't one). And it's actually a common word in English. It would be hard to believe that they have ownership over it to that extent. I mean there is literally another game called "Beholder".
Hmmm you probably should give credit to where you did buy the art. People telling you the art is awesome giving them the feeling you made it yourself.....
"Welcome to devlog #0, btw my game is published on steam" hahaha! Nice work man. Subbed!
Thanks Ryan! I guess I started devlogging a bit late :D. Your game Spooder Shooter is looking good, looking forward for more devlogs by you!
@@KaanAlparGameDev Thanks a bunch :)

The art was a good investment! Bet it saved you a ton of time!
It definitely did!
Beholders are one of the few copyrighted D&D monsters. You might have issues with Wizards of the Coast.

I do say that I didn't make the art myself. The name of the artist is on the credits of the game, don't worry ;)
