Great video Rick, I am retiring next yr at 57 with steady income stream from my dividend portfolio total $250,000 a yr to live comfortably, All thanks to my Fee Only Advisor, who manages my portfolio. I also have no debts... Stay Motivated!!❤✅
I got interested in the stock market recently, I’ve got Liquid Cash to invest. but I want to ensure good profits & safety. How did you find the right Fee only Advisory?
I work with Essmildaa too! transferred all of my IRA from managing it myself, to making her my advisor. BEST decision ever! I truly enjoy the trades. I found exactly what I was looking for.
Greetings from Greece! Nice video! My favorite is VDIV for the reasons below: 1) It is in Euro (No currency risk) 2) Very good performance (10% CAGR since inception) 3) Great dividend yield 4) Moderate TER (0,38%) 5) Global diversification 6) Big enough Only disadvantage is that it has a 15% withholding tax in dividends because it is domiciled in Netherlands. Actual dividend yield is about 3,4% My second favorite is VGWD if i would invest in USD.
Thank you for this video. I just subscribe to your channel. When you're talking about annual return for a distributing ETF does it include dividend reinvestment ? Thank in advance for your answer.
Loved your video! I'm a Turkish expat in Germany and my favorite ETFs are FGEQ (not on your list) and VGWD. I'm also thinking about moving my emergency fund to JGPI but it's probably not a good idea :) Finally, I like VDIV and SDGR too but I think they might cut withholding tax so I'm avoiding them.
hey there! Thanks for your comment. I agree with you, FGEQ is a really good one! Yes, don't move your emergency fund to JGPI, it would lose its meaning of emergency fund ;) Welcome aboard!
very good video exactly what i was looking for , can you do one more in the future for just european stocks dividends ?? like allianz, pnb paribass , and more ?
Hey mate, thank you very much! I usually don't talk about stocks and if I did a video on them I would get like 1-2 views because my audience is more interested in ETFs, but I can suggest you a friend of mine that focuses only on Dividend Stocks and has a great channel: www.youtube.com/@arigutman He doesn't focus specifically on Europe though. By the way, why this interest in european dividend stocks?
Hey there, good of you to mention the WisdomTree ETF, it's actually a really good ETF if you check the composition and the fact that it mixes US dividend yielding companies with international ones. It would definitely deserve a place in a "best ETFs" list but because I wanted to have 7 I let it out. We'll see how it performs in the future, but given the composition it's solid and valid.
Well, it would be a close number 8. When Ranking ETFs, it's always about where your priority lies. Height of Dividend Yield? Stability of it? Total Return? With a general perspective, it would be my number 8.
@@rick.austin tbh I was looking from a total return aspect It seems like ggrg is only topped by fusd, correct me if I’m wrong I’m still new to investing
Looking at investing from a total return and not only from dividend yield is the best way, kudos to you for getting that if you're new to investing like you say! Yes GGRG and FUSD has high total return because of their overweight in Information Technology. GGRG is not even 10 years old. If you are interested in Total Return, you might consider other ETFs than "income ETFs", though. Except if you want to receive the income for some particular reason (for instance because of age).
Hi Rick. I have a question. How is the Vanguard FTSE All World high div yield ucits etf different from the ishares msci world quality Dividend esg ucits etf you have mentioned in a different video? Thank you! Greets from Germany
Hey there, well where to begin... The FTSE has 5 billions in assets, the MSCI little less than 1.The expense ratio, namely how much you pay every year on your ETF value, is 0,29% for the FTSE and 0,38% for the MSCI. The FTSE has around 2100 holdings, while the MSCI 200 (so FTSE is more diversified). The sectors are also a bit different. For example the MSCI's top sector is Tech with 31%, while by FTSE financials is the first. Current Dividend Yield is 3% by the FTSE and 2.5% by the MSCI. They are both good income ETFs, but I do believe that the FTSE has the best balance overall!
Hi, are dividends from UCITS ETFs double taxed? For example if I have dist UCITS ETF for SP500: UCITS ETF will obtain taxed dividend from US by 15% and broker for example IBKR will lover my dividend from ETF by another 15% (Czech Republic) as a witholding tax. Is my theory correct?
Hi there, dividends from UCITS ETFs in Europe that hold U.S. companies can indeed be subject to some level of double taxation, but there are usually tax treaties between European Countries and U.S.. I don't know if Czech Rep has a tax treaty, but you can find out easily by googling it. Here’s how it usually works: When a U.S. company pays dividends to a foreign investor (including a UCITS ETF), the U.S. imposes a withholding tax of 30% by default. However, many European countries have tax treaties with the U.S. that reduce this rate to 15%. The UCITS ETF provider typically applies for this reduced rate on behalf of the fund. Once the UCITS ETF receives the dividends (net of U.S. withholding tax), it may distribute them to European investors. Depending on the tax laws in your country of residence, you may pay tax again on these dividends, at your local dividend tax rate.

I understand. Unfortunately you pay with a terrible performance, so I'm not sure the tax break is worth it!
