    What about State Lands

    • @goldrushmines
      @goldrushmines  ปีที่แล้ว

      state lands are royalty based leases. Honestly not worth the trouble when there is so much other land to work with.

    Does the bond need to be transferred or leave it alone an pay assessment

    • @goldrushmines
      @goldrushmines  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Bond will transfer at the request of the person who put the bond up.

    If one has a public land mining claim and the public land becomes Wilderness public land afterwards, can one still drive a vehicle in as prior to Wilderness designation, or does it become walk in only?

      In most cases no. But if you had a road there already and have an active mine with shipping needs, you could add it to your plan of operation and keep that road accessible to you. Its all a matter of proving that you are mining out there.

    If someone has a placer claim do they have rights to lode minerals?

    • @goldrushmines
      @goldrushmines  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      A placer claim gives no lode rights. If you have to break it out of the rock, its not covered by placer.

    If your claim is a load claim can you plaster mine it too?

    • @goldrushmines
      @goldrushmines  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      In most cases no. Your lode claim covers material in rock. Not loose material.

    Hi, I know if I want to buy a mining claim, "I need to be citizen of the United States or who has declared an intention to become a citizen". I know that I can buy a house without being citizen and a patented claim is a private property. I did not find any informations for patented claims, Is it the same as a normal claim or it's like a house since it's private property ?

    • @goldrushmines
      @goldrushmines  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      A patent or unpatent, the property is defined as a US mineral asset. You must be a citizen or have declared intent to own. Foreign Mining companies and other entities that purchase from out of country must form a US based company to hold ownership.

      @@goldrushmines He can just create an LLC to buy the claim many people do it now with homes so their name doesn't show up on deed searches.

    Is there a site to download a maps for public lands?

    • @goldrushmines
      @goldrushmines  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Unfortunately there isnt any central repository. We use a combination of GIS data from County, State and Federal agencies to compile accurate data. The county is usually the most accurate as they collect the taxes on any parcels.

    got a 20 acer claim in N Idaho and you said something about access can't be denied ! if forest service has a gate on road to claim and dug road out 3 places ? I don't mine walking in but would be nice to get off main rd !lol

    • @goldrushmines
      @goldrushmines  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Submit a notice of operation and work with the local ranger, they can get you a key and let you repair the road for access. They just need to know you are serious about the mining operation in question.

    How about reclamation bonds I can't find much about when someone dies but has handed down the claim.

    • @goldrushmines
      @goldrushmines  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      If it is an unpatented claim, and you have documentation on the bond, it will need to be transferred to the new claim owner. It should be a simple process with the land manager. Dont expect that it will stay with the claim, it will not. it is tied to the operator of the site, which may or may not be the claim owner.

    I want to become a miner, but this seems so confusing -- not the mining, the legal issues with establishing a claim and working that claim. I am a licensed general contractor in California. I would like to set up any kind of mine. I would like a mine that would provide me with many years of steady income. I will check out the website here.

      Its pretty straight forward to develop, you just need an approved plan of operations and the associated bonding. If you need help, let us know, we can walk you through the steps, and even help you write and file a Notice.
