that's cool,I been looking to get something in Yavapia county with minecashe. Its a tough gig because theres people that don't have to work 5days a week and full time look for grounds. Our claim by Bagdad has been very good.Good luck
Mine cache is another great tool. I like the overlays with Google Earth. Can't beat the satellite imagery. Thanks for mentioning it and good luck in your search as well!
Do I need Mining License or Permit to spend one week or two of gold finding in Alaska? I am planning to go there soon. Please tell me, What I should prepare? Thank you
As long as you are in federal land that does not have any claims you can prospect away without any license or permit. I would look up some clubs in Alaska for the area you are interested in and check with them if there are any restrictions just to be sure.
Check with the "Americans Mining Rights Association," (AMRA). They have yearly memberships to a dozens of claims they hold all in western half of the US. $200 dollars per year will get you a membership pass, claim locations and geo-coordinates...bla...bla...bla... There's a map of their claims on the website. That's what I'm going to do, that way I can move around and follow the good weather. Good luck folks!
We are lifetime members of AMRA and proud supporters. They do have excellent claims too. Thanks for shouting them out as they need support to continue the fight for our rights!
Wandering Buffalo's...thanks for the reply...I will take your experience with the AMRA as an thumbs up for a membership. All I needed to know...my membership is on the way! Thanks folks!
Alot of useful info! Just one question, Around 11:40 you were talking about dropping pushpin markers on google earth. Is that part of the paid map program? Or do you have to install google earth to have that feature?

It's free but you have to download Google earth to your computer.
