I wish I could go back to the 80's just for the music. I was such a Joe Elliot wanna be when I was 17 (in 1987), I had the exact same haircut; exact same shirt with sleeves torn off and I took a razor to my jeans until it literally took me fifteen minutes just to get them on.
Mox_au You're entitled to your opinion, but I think you are greatly outnumbered on that one, esp since they still sell out arenas while pushing 60 years old.
Jamie Shaffer Hahaha, I was born in 93, so I'll meet you on fair ground with revealing my age. But yeah, other than the great music, I'd probably join the rest of the 80s crowd and get hooked on cocaine LOL
Hell yeah! That's Rick Allen - the god of thunder! He's a really great guy too (I met him a few years ago) and does amazing artwork. rickallen.com/artist/
It’s a relatively easy song to play, but the VOCALS are soo tight aren’t they.. usually backing vocalists sound a lot weaker live, but this is near record perfect
Had the privilege of being stage crew for this band, out of the hundreds of bands ive crewed for over the years, this was the one that really blew me away!
I had a chance to see them live and go backstage during this tour - my Dad was dating Troy Lucketta's Mom (drummer from Tesla) and they were on tour with Def Leppard at the time. That dumb ass fucked it all up, he though she was going to buy the tickets & just forgot about it (because he didn't give a fuck about Def Leppard). HE was supposed to get the tickets and then once we got there she'd have gotten us backstage, but it never happened. I did get to spend a few days hanging with Troy around that same time during a ski trip - hell of a lot of fun and we never even talked about music. All we did was play video games and throw snow balls at his sister. I sure as hell miss those days.
I was born in 1978. 10 years later, my brother began to introduce me to the BRILLIANT sounds of the 80s!!!! And he also introduced me to Def Leppard. Pyromaniac was the first album I had the privilege to listen to. Since the age of 10 I LOVE HARDROCK!!!!! But also nstuff like The Cure, New Order, The Smiths, etc. So yeah.. thanx my dear brother!!!
Hey 👋 there Dude I love ❤️ all of the Def lepord songs dude rock on 🤘 Def lepord rip 🪦 Steve Clark the legendary guitar 🎸 Player in the world 🌎 May Steve Clark Rest In Peace 😢😭😭
THE BEST rock n roll band to date, seen them live on the 2014 summer tour. AMAZINGGG :) Why can't we have this stuff nowadays, 16 years old and I seem to be one of the few teens around to listen to this stuff?
Steve Clark what a fantastic guitar player this song one of my favorites.saw them live they were freaking amazing. But anything to be there live right now but can't turn back the hands of time
What a time it must of been to be alive...would of loved to been at a show of the hysteria tour...what a time for music, pure, rocking, talent...this is the best!
yeah this is definitely the best live version I've seen. good work great to see Joe hitting the high notes...been a long time! i saw the boys in Denver last year with cheap trick and poison, great show even though all past their prime a bit (cheap trick - the flame still moving performance, man that is a good song). Hysteria, still the greatest album of all time
Def Leppard would return to Denver and McNichols Sports Arena for 2 back-to-back shows in February 1993. As a 17-year-old, I attended 1 concert there, directly next to "The Round". IT WAS INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sounded just like this, only without Steve. RIP Steve & McNichols.
Since 1988, I CAN NEVER GET ENOUGH OF THIS SONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IT WAS #1 On MTV for WELL OVER 35 WEEKS at #1!!--- BEATING OUT Bon Jovi!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'Ts RINGTONE IS ON ALL MY COMPUTERS/CELLPHONES, EXTERNAL HARD DRIVE, AND WILL NEVER BE LOST!!!! THANK YOU, DEF LEPPARD, FOR CHANGING MY LIFE SINCE 1978----!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :) :) ..
I'm 15 years old, I love this and so many other songs and bands from around this time (def leppard, van halen, TS, Ratt, etc) thanks to my mom! She was a hard core rocker when she was my age, and I plan on passing this down to my kids too!
Born in '62. I was 25 when this was released in the USA. (16 April 1988) Believe everything you've heard about the 80's. It was a big party. It was too much fun. And we wished it would never end. And Def Leppard were the music at the party.
This is the difference between today’s crybaby so called “musically inclined “ twerps, and the ROCK GODS of yesterday. I was so blessed to experience the REAL music of the 80s, my high school years so ROCKED!!!
I'm 17, I heard about this Amazing band a year ago, I can quite honestly say I'll be listening to these for the rest of my life! I wish I was born back then in these days:(
Saw them in the 80's an again in the 90's!! The second time they made it seem like they were late but nooo. They were pushed in equipment box's right beside us up under the stage!! They popped out an Jammed 🤘
fun fact: All of the members of Def Leppard can play Bass, Guitar & Drums very well. Rick Allen used to play bass and guitar before he lost one of his arms, and he just stayed 100% with drums. You can find videos of Rick Savage (bassist) playing guitar, singer also plays guitar, and some drums. I even seen an article that stated Steve Clark could play bass, but he would very rarely do it for fun. 2nd fun fact, Joe Elliott almost joined the band as a guitarist but they thought he would be a better fit as the singer.
Was at the Show in Huntsville, Al VBCC in the round, with Tesla.......it was truly Amazing, BOTH bands at their HEIGHT of Brilliance, LIVE, Wow, when I see this now of course we were Drunk and high but it sounded THIS GOOD! Jesus
i do make perfect sense mr.factorx90 if i wasn't being clear enough i was just bit pissed on how most people cry how they're 15 and 16 year olds who says they hate modern music just to get thumbs up... clear enough?

Love the 80s songs, God I wish I could of experience those years.

Cocaine, hookers and amazing music? no idea why you would want all that xD
you are a moron, why wouldnt you

Wish I grew up in the 80s...
+J Fraz (GuinessBookOfNoMan) not due to this i hope... it signified the end of real rock, and was some of the most pussy ass music you will ever hear
Mox_au You're entitled to your opinion, but I think you are greatly outnumbered on that one, esp since they still sell out arenas while pushing 60 years old.
Cheers Jamie! And yeah Def Leppard would be considered one of many reasons to grow up in the 80s LOL
Jay, they've been my favorite since I was about 10 years old, back in 1984! Yea, I just gave away my age..
Jamie Shaffer Hahaha, I was born in 93, so I'll meet you on fair ground with revealing my age. But yeah, other than the great music, I'd probably join the rest of the 80s crowd and get hooked on cocaine LOL
damn....the DRUMMER IS AWESOME.....

LUM BHA he doesn’t even have a f*cking left arm! That’s how badass he is!!!
Yeahhh \m/
David Erlstoke his wife must like him ALOT😂
It’s insane how good they sound live here
It’s a relatively easy song to play, but the VOCALS are soo tight aren’t they.. usually backing vocalists sound a lot weaker live, but this is near record perfect
I thought the same thing!
That riff is timeless. I think this song is the flagship of the hair metal era of rock.
Had the privilege of being stage crew for this band, out of the hundreds of bands ive crewed for over the years, this was the one that really blew me away!
Gotta admit, I'm jealous. But good for you, man! Bet you got stories for days...
I envy teens of the 80's man!
It was great and still listening to this music today, not anything of the b.s. nowadays
@@troychristiansen1755 respect ✌✌✌
Was an absolutely great and amazing time
I used to listen the hole album every morning before go to school!
I would have killed to go to this tour. Too bad I was born eight years later. And yes, this music is a thousand times better than the music of today.
Not one thousand times better. More like 1,000,000,000,000 times better. Today's music SUCKS.
I had a chance to see them live and go backstage during this tour - my Dad was dating Troy Lucketta's Mom (drummer from Tesla) and they were on tour with Def Leppard at the time. Gives you the freaking chills, man!!!
🤘🤘🤘
I'm 22 born in 2000 and I'm jealous of the folks who were rocking that music in the 80s
So much friggin energy, makes me want to be there. Unfortunately, I never saw them live.
This tune is like a national anthem of rock and roll. British glamrock at its best.
Hey 👋 there Dude I love ❤️ all of the Def lepord songs dude rock on 🤘 Def lepord rip 🪦 Steve Clark the legendary guitar 🎸

17. I bought a Jackson guitar just because of Phil, I can play almost every one of their songs.
These comments are so fucking annoying. "I'm x years old and no one my age likes this music". Shut the fuck up.

The 80's is the decade that defined who and what we are today.
Lived it. Had the record too. So lucky to live in the era
Man, how I wish I was there! Too bad I was born 4 years later ,_,
haha same
Same. Nothing will ever be the same as going to a rock concert in the 80s when all these bands were in their prime.
MsJoeyJody we are same and i feel the same with you.
As a drummer, I’m quite impressed with this one armed maniac ripping it up!
