I love this channel. I've been officially diagnosed as mentally disabled recently, battling with a f***ing horrible anxiety disorder. I've never experienced anything like this before in my entire life, I've even been hospitalized, thinking that I was having a heart attack. I had no idea, the physical effects of that crap. Well, these videos have really helped me relax when I really needed it. I love video games. You're awesome, Patman, thank you so much! I'm also so glad to be a member of your patreon. Life is an absolute war sometimes, I know that you also know this. We're all soldiers fighting through this big mess. I'm proud to be fighting along side with you, and I've got your back out there. Respect.
Sorry to hear about your situation. Glad my silly little videos can help give you some relief. Keep your chin up, tomorrow is always another day. Thank you for supporting me on patreon. If you ever need to talk shoot me a line :-)
I went through something similar in fall of 2019. I began having panic attacks and my first one I thought I was having a heart attack and was rushed to the ER. it's been a long year of dealing with it but the remedy I found that almost eliminated it all was just defeating the fight-or-flight response in the brain. If you're not afraid when the familiar symptoms start, and you literally tell your brain that you're not scared, the symptoms of angst and worry will subside usually within a minute or so. I can go deeper into the root cause of my generalized anxiety disorder and how I'm basically cured at this point. Anxiety is curable man
What do you mean the pod racing scene was the best part of Episode 1? It's only because Sega were folish enough not to make a game where they're in open discussion negociating the trade embargo. Its what all the kids loved about Star Wars after all!!! :D
Yeah all we got was crummy Episode 1: Racer and Jedi Power Battles. What my twitchy young fingers were craving was some CSPAN with monsters action! Can you imagine all the live from the floor senate hearing fun we all missed out on?
Star Wars Arcade for 32X was the first 32bit game I ever played! At the time I was so blown away. I was only 7 but I still remember the way it made me feel on first impression. It was my first 3D gaming experience. My neighbor and I had Genesis, and then one day his parents brought home a 32X, I had no idea games could be that way, especially at home. Would love to try the original arcade sometime, it looks like a decent step up.
Consider yourself lucky. I had been wanting that game for 20 years before I was finally able to get ahold of a 32X. After all those years it still didn’t let me down
Oh man! This brings back SO MUCH MEMORIES! Funny enough i saw, played and finished all these Star Wars games in the Pizza Planet fast food restaurant in Disney MGM Studios (now Hollywood) . The Sega first arcade game was very hard and i was like 8 years, I was the gunner and an unknown player was the pilot, he was like twice my age, we both sucked at it and he sugested me to switch places, we finished the game because of it. The Trilogy Arcade is one my favorite games of all time. And I really hate it hasnt been ported, I hope Arcade Up manages to make a deal with both Disney and Sega in order to get this one at home (not a fan a emulators but I get their purpose). Thanks again for this video :) keep up the good work!
I played the crap out of the star wars trilogy game. It was at the movie theater that I worked at, but many $$ later I still couldn't beat Vader. It was a weird control scheme using a flight stick as you're light saber. Great watch either way!!
I love Star Wars and Sega's Star Wars Trilogy is indeed awesome, but my favorite will always be Atari's old vector arcade game. First video game I ever played nearly 40 years ago! As always, great video and keep up the great work!
Okay, while I appreciate the effort, a few corrections/bits of feedback are in order: - "Tear-as Kaz-ee" - Yoda Stories was actually one of the more fondly remembered eccentricities of the franchise, whereas Super Star Wars was a masochistic nightmare. Plus, in the examples given, it feels like there's an implication the 00s era was some sort of dark time for Star Wars games, even though that was the period were got titles like KOTOR, Republic Commando, Bounty Hunter, Battlefront, etc.? - The home console podracing game is nothing like the arcade version. The arcade game is primarily first-person, far more unforgiving, such as a time limit, and only features a handful of courses. The home console release was an entirely different engine with substantially more content. Even in terms of style of racing game, the home console game to resemble the arcade version is actually the PS2-exclusive sequel, Racer's Revenge. - The remaster of Episode 1 Racer came to all systems, not just PlayStation and Switch. There was also a GOG re-release.
I'm glad to have discovered this channel, though I didn't get to go to them very often, arcades left a massive impression on me in my youth and the death of the arcade scene here in the UK is a crying shame to me. So to find a channel dedicated to the machines that ate up so much of my holiday money and the other bits I could borrow when we visited the seaside is almost as good as being able to get into one in adulthood. My current circumstances mean I am unable to support you efforts, but as soon as that comes to an end I'll doubtlessly pop my patreon cherry on ensuring that the history and memories of those blissful days stays alive.
That is very nice of you to say. It's unfortunate that arcades died the way they did because that's something we can never get back I was 10 years old when Pac-Man came out and can recall it fondly.Glad you enjoyed the channel so much cheers
I definitely played the last 2 of the arcade games, but never had the chance to play the first one that I wanted to so bad back in the day. Funny thing about the Arcade Trilogy one was that I nearly had the game memorized, but somehow, I always messed up in some capacity for episode 6, thus ending my 1 credit run. I always tried to beat a lot of the games back in the day in just 1 actual credit (i.e light gun shooters like House of the Dead, Lethal Enforcers and even the Time Crisis series for examples). This has been a great channel and love being able to watch the memories come back from playing these games.
Thank you so much for the nice words. I never knew the first one was an arcade game until I started researching this video. I had played the other two but only knew of the first one from the 32X release.. Sounds like you are a much better player than I am :-)

The second Star Wars arcade game i played the first scenario. Only the cab i played was a stand up at the arcade section of a restaurant/bar. The place also had a Neo Geo arcade cab with three games which included Metal Slug 2 always enjoy playing up. Now Im tempted to go back and see if they still have these arcade games.
I remember seeing the Star Wars trilogy game in movie theater arcades. During the Endor stage, a rebel on the communicator would say, "Don't shoot our own men!" I would immediately use rapid fire to shoot every single ewok that I could see, increasing my Dark Side lvl. Awesome video, PatmanQC!
I love the videos and your work however just a correction: the sega arcade episode 1 racer is only similar in name to the n64/Dreamcast episode 1 racer game. The home version is not a port of the arcade and is not made by sega. The arcade version is very different because it was controlled by two thruster levers that you pushed or pulled forward or back and you would turn by pulling back on one and the seat would move accordingly. Its a fantastic experience and I'm happy to have played it once years ago. They are pretty hard to find these days.
I always thought they were different games until I read an article while doing the research that is started out as a port but they ended up changing it.
@@PatmanQC-Arcade-Documentaries the n64 episode 1 racer came out almost a year before the sega arcade game, so it's possible they share some assets and content since they would both have been lucasarts games.
Star Wars Trilogy arcade was a crowd-puller. Used to be a Timezone arcade on Swanston St I remember people watching me play it (used to be an arcade on every block almost at one time in Melbourne).
i remember some years ago, a movie theater closeby had the Star Wars Arcade machine and i almost missed the start of sooo many movies because my brother and I would always play it
I played the original Star Wars arcade game with the sit in cockpit at a gaming convention 11 years ago. It was a fantastic experience. I really want to play the Super Star Wars games. I loved playing the Lego Star Wars and Battlefront games growing up too but I always felt more could be added to them.
I only got to play Star Wars arcade trilogy a couple of times back in 2002 at the movie theater during the 3 times I went to see Attack of the Clones. It is an awesome game!
As usual, good job sir. I never had the chance to experience these in the arcade. I did play SWA on the 32x, and to be honest, was kind of harsh on it. Although I liked the graphics, and was quite impressed with the audio, my general thought was: "I'd rather be playing Starfox" I had fun with SW Ep1 Racer on both the N64 and Dreamcast. The sense of speed was almost overwhelming at times. Had no idea the first 2 cabinets were so rare, but it jives with having seen them.
Trilogy? I remember Star Wars having The Caravan Of Courage and Ewoks: The Battle for Endor; Is the Darkhorse comic series considered the other part in it?
The 1953 War of the Worlds is far and away an AMAZING movie and the effects they pulled off for being released in 1953 was FAR ahead of itstime. It still holds up and I am amazed with the entire film even now. Just jaw dropping.
Dude... Star Wars Trilogy was METAL!!!! I LOVED that game growing up. I always seemed to dig in the Endor Level a lot too. I freakin' LOVE this channel. Always showing my childhood, always love watching what I'm seeing. Good work, My Dude. California LOVES this channel.
Star Wars Trilogy Arcade was my favorite. Disneyland had it in Flynn’s Arcade by the Star Trader. My family used to get mad that I’d just sit there and play while they waited in line to ride Space Mountain. We never really had good arcades in our town so that was what I looked forward too. If any of y'all remember seeing JPM at the top of the scores that was me :) I always wanted to play the full size Pod Racer cabinet. I only ever would find the smaller seat ones that didn’t have the fully molded pod.
Man, I can remember the rumble on the Trilogy game clearly. Especially in the Hoth Escape level, it was a pretty powerful jolt whenever you fired, especially when you hit a snow trooper.
Star Wars Trilogy Arcade is My GOAT Arcade Game!! I know all the nooks and crannies in that little nutter butter and always remember getting nervous with the final moments of destroying the Death Star, to strike the door at the Hoth escape before hitting those damn strong Wampas and after too, to hit those action buttons when ready (send in the X-Wings on those freaking Tie Fighters when ready, send down an Ewok onto a Stormtrooper on Endor, and push the button after Vader was defeated with me (which next to never happening when I played those little crab nuts) to hear the Emperor say "So be it Jedi"), and I never got my big goal of being on the High Score of a major arcade with those machines (at one point, I'd be damned if I saw an arcade with games from the mid 90s to the early 00s without it), but I played those games damn near religiously when I saw it! Even my dad was a coach for the game (I'm technically not kidding)! I actually played Star Wars Episode I Racer in person, but I sucked at the controls (Maybe it's my little young gamer peanut sized brain that was confused AF with the system, but If I ever play it again, I can truly experience how Pod Racing TRULY is with this being the GOAT version of Star Wars Pod Racing games). I sadly only played the OG Sega Star Wars Arcade on the 32X (on an Emulator no less), and it kinda was this free roaming Star Fox Style Polygon Ship Shooter, and It was one of the better 32X games, but that's not saying much. For a grand, long Time, I was in a massive Star Wars Phase since a young age until the mid 2000s, and it was just a major piece of my Preteen Years along with the DS, Yu-Gi-Oh, and Lego.
I love your content it is superb! You could honestly get away with more adds in your videos because you seriously have very little compared to every other channel I watch.
Star Wars Trilogy was my jam! The key to success was tapping the trigger to maximize your rate of fire. It was also notable to me because the joystick was responsive. You felt the resistance when fighting Vader, for example. That feature didn't always survive. :D
I remember the 1998 SW Arcade at a local movie theater that my late wife would play when we would attend a movie & at the Beach in SOuth Carolina.I vaguely remember the Pod Racer Episode 1 game was out.I would be shocked if I would see those games in the “wild” unless at a arcade museum I hope to visit in the future.I ❤️ the video.I admit I more of a fan of the 83 SW Arcade.
I just ran across "StarWars battle pod" game at an arcade near me. It's basically the same as these games but upgraded a bit. Worth the money to try out👍🏻
I remember 3 friends & I playn the racing game. We mainly raced each other since getting 1st was hell for average players like us, dam tight turns & runnerbanding
Yet he was totally on board to do new lines for Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Sound alikes in Star Wars games are... usually bad, but for some reason the Han Solo voices are always a special kind of terrible.
@Trump4Prison2021 I don't want to start a big thing in this space, but Disney wanted to kill off the two white male protagonists (Han and Luke) because they have an ideology to push.
I am surprised you didn't talk about Return of the Jedi arcade game that was where you would just ride a speeder bike and just avoid hazards. I saw it once and played at this arcade in a camping site place. It also had the arcade Ninja Gaiden game as well. Love your channel by the way.
Star Wars was a video game that inspired a bunch of movies... you know, that primitive and archaic form of entertainment where one just watches (no interaction) back when movie theaters existed.
Its about these people on a space ship, who explore strange new worlds and meet new civilizations. I think the ship is called the Red Dwarf, also there's a talking robot dog who says "Affirmative!" a lot.
There used to be an original Sega Star Wars in the Brewdog pub in Shepherds Bush, London but I'm not sure whether it's still there now. Patman I doubt you will ever cover my favourite 80's game Burnin' Rubber (aka Bump 'N' Jump) but I hope you are working your way around to Battlezone one day. Those two and Galaga were the holy trilogy of the early eighties for me.
I have come very close to doing battle zone a couple of times in the past but I haven't found that spark just yet. I'm sure I'll cover it at some point
@@PatmanQC-Arcade-Documentaries I guess there's not a lot of material for a Battlezone video with very little in the way of faithful home conversions. Don't worry, your Atari Star Wars doc adequately filled my need for vector graphics for the time being. Red Baron was another great vector arcade game of the time.
I love star wars arcade spent my fair share of pounds on them as a kid and if I go into an arcade and see the cabinet it makes me feel like a kid and gives me goosebumps
Awesome coverage. I actually own the Star Wars Arcade Trilogy machine. I got it for free, as the company I work for was going to throw it out. I know. WTF Indeed. Unfortunately before I worked there, some Nerf Herder removed the 50" screen tv section and ran the video on a wall with a projector. The best i'm going to be able to do, once I get it out of storage, is run a 50" flat panel on it. I got sent to one of our stores in Chicago, and they had two Arcade Trilogy and two linked Pod Racer arcade, both still intact.
I played the Star Wars Trilogy Arcade at Dave and Buster's (RIP) in 2001. It was kinda easy, but you got your money's worth because it was long and the ease of play meant you got to experience the game rather than blast through missions and wonder afterward what you saw.
I won’t hear a bad word said about yoda stories, it was an amazing piece of game engineering, a randomly generated Zelda style adventure that’s full of humor and Easter eggs and designed to be playable on any windows computer and sold at bargain. Maybe it seems primitive now, but I’ll always remember it fondly.
6:40 Useless fact I know, but I work at the company in the UK that used to make Sega arcade machines, then we'd ship them to the USA. Back in the day we even had game testers, where your job was basically to play the machines after they were built to make sure they worked!
I played both Atari Star Wars arcade games back-in-the-day. A shame the second Sega arcade game was never ported to anything. I have Star Wars Arcade for the 32X (bought it at Toys 'R US for $7) and Star Wars Episode 1 Racer for the Dreamcast. When Williams released the Star Wars Episode 1 pinball machine I played it a lot at the arcade.
You stumbled a bit there with the info: Sega's Star Wars Racer is a much different game than LucasArts' Star Wars Episode 1 Racer. EDIT: But never mind that; I can see there are a few comments that pointed that out already. My bad for being redundant. Everything else was top-notch as usual though ;) Ya really gave these 3 the treatment they deserved, man. Seeing them all again in all their awesome glory just makes me wish more people talked about 'em. I freakin' played Sega's Racer game to death back in the day; that arcade cab _was amazing_ to hop into when it was available at an arcade in the local mall back in the day. I absolutely love that they opted for the same controls seen in the movie; just a thruster for your left and right engine. Crank them both all the way up to go forward, pull back on left and crank the right up to turn left and vice versa to turn right - it is probably the most immersive gaming experience I've ever had! Even if its playable in MAME nowadays, you just can't replicate that. If I had a ton of disposable income, I'd get a Star Wars racer arcade cab off of eBay :D
That was a major faux pas on my part. It's irritating because I didn't think the reports but that I read an article stating they were. I honestly had no idea the first game was an arcade game. I had never seen it before and thought it was just strictly for the 32X. Glad you liked the rest of the video, thanks
Great episode. Note: Star Wars Racer Arcade was never ported to console or PC. The N64, Dreamcast, PC and re-releases on Switch and PS4 is called Star Wars: Episode I Racer; a different game developed by LucasArts and not Sega like the arcade one.
@@PatmanQC-Arcade-Documentaries Just a personal suggestion: when you find out that some of the data in the video is incorrect, maybe you could include an "errata" on the video description/intro text detailing the corrections. Keep up the good work and thanks for your great videos!👍

The N64/Dreamcast racer is my favorite racing game of all time
You are right. The Sega Arcade Racer isn't the same
Trilogy is one of my favorite arcade games of all time!
It is really good
Star Wars Trilogy arcade was a crowd-puller. Used to be a Timezone arcade on Swanston St I remember people watching me play it (used to be an arcade on every block almost at one time in Melbourne).
I absolutely love these games, great video.
Glad you like them! Thank you very much
That first 3D Star Wars arcade game in this video is incredible. If i grew up playing that it would blow my mind
They were all really good
Thanks for the video! I have good memories of playing the vector graphics Star Wars game on the C=64 and Amiga
Thanks for watching, the 64 version was pretty good but the Amiga one was fantastic
i remember some years ago, a movie theater closeby had the Star Wars Arcade machine and i almost missed the start of sooo many movies because my brother and I would always play it
Great vid. Tons of memories of these and the other classics like Empire on the 2600
Absolutely, the first great Star Wars game :-) thanks
SW arcade trilogy is one of my fave games. My local seaside arcade had this game and the entire highsore table had my initials.
That's fantastic
Good vid as always
Glad you enjoyed it Thanks
Just rewatched this video. Rest in piece James Earl Jones.
3 awesome amazing games! Great vid. Sw battle pod dome was cool too
Yes, my son played Battle pod last year at an amusement park and really enjoyed it. Thank you
I played the original Star Wars arcade game with the sit in cockpit at a gaming convention 11 years ago. It was a fantastic experience. I really want to play the Super Star Wars games. I loved playing the Lego Star Wars and Battlefront games growing up too but I always felt more could be added to them.
The super Star Wars games are a lot of fun in my opinion
I only got to play Star Wars arcade trilogy a couple of times back in 2002 at the movie theater during the 3 times I went to see Attack of the Clones. It is an awesome game!
It is really good
As usual, good job sir.
It was very similar to Star Fox I agree but I enjoyed it more because it had that Star Wars nostalgia:-)
I’ve played Star Wars Trilogy Arcade a lot back in the day, and I consider it as my #1 favorite arcade game.
I always thought it was fantastic as well
Love the vector games. Anyway just noticed I hadn't subscribed yet I watch all these, they're like a saturday morning show for retro gamers :D
Thank you, and thanks for subscribing
God I love that 1953 version of War of the Worlds.
I've played Star Wars Racer but would love to try the Star Wars Trilogy game.
So did I, it was a classic
Me too, especially now that I live in the area the Martians crashed in.
I can hear the WOTW death rays in my head right now, iconic! pewpewpewpew!! ⚡️💀
I used to frequent a barcade that had Star Wars Trilogy! It was an absolute blast.
As always great job!
Thank you! Cheers!
Thanks for the nice words. Glad you enjoyed the content so much :-)
Those arcades are awesome. Great job with the vid! 👍
Thanks a bunch!
Great video. I would have loved to play this as I am a big Star Wars fan.
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you
Star Wars Trilogy Arcade was my favorite. Disneyland had it in Flynn’s Arcade by the Star Trader. My family used to get mad that I’d just sit there and play while they waited in line to ride Space Mountain.
We never really had good arcades in our town so that was what I looked forward too.
If any of y'all remember seeing JPM at the top of the scores that was me :)
I always wanted to play the full size Pod Racer cabinet. I only ever would find the smaller seat ones that didn’t have the fully molded pod.
Patman, Ive never seen these! Thank you!
Absolutely, thanks for watching
This video is simply awesome! Thank you patman! Just like beggars canyon back home!
Glad you enjoyed it! It's definitely a classic :-) thanks
So nostalgic! Thank you!
Absolutely, thank you for watching
Man, I can remember the rumble on the Trilogy game clearly. Especially in the Hoth Escape level, it was a pretty powerful jolt whenever you fired, especially when you hit a snow trooper.
Yes, it was massive
That is fantastic, I played through it and enjoyed it a few times but I am not an expert like you obviously :-)
Pod racer was available for the MacOS as well.
I was gonna say that. Played that on my toilet seat looking iBook.
Thanks for the info
I love your content it is superb! You could honestly get away with more adds in your videos because you seriously have very little compared to every other channel I watch.
That is very nice of you to say. Glad you enjoy the channel so much
I remember pumping tokens into the Star Wars Trilogy cabinet in 2000 at the miniature golf place near where I lived at the time.
I spent a lot on it as well
My friend has the trilogy arcade in his basement. It's still super fun to play.
That would be fantastic
Played SW trilogy and racer in the arcade but never saw the first release in the flesh.. great fun
Absolutely :-)
Cranking out videos. Awesome
Thanks hope you enjoy it
@@PatmanQC-Arcade-Documentaries
Excellent video as always. Your channel is truly a gem. I'm excited for the next one.
As a kid a local roller rink had the deluxe Trilogy cab. That game is fantastic.
Yes it is
Star Wars Trilogy was my jam!
Thank you very much, it's hard to beat the original 1983 vector classic
I just ran across "StarWars battle pod" game at an arcade near me. It's basically the same as these games but upgraded a bit. Worth the money to try out👍🏻
My son pleaded a couple of years ago and really enjoyed it
I remember 3 friends & I playn the racing game. We mainly raced each other since getting 1st was hell for average players like us, dam tight turns & runnerbanding
LOL, it sure was fun though
This channel soothes my sick day in bed. Thanks for the amazing content
Thank you so much
I kind of expected that Harrison Ford would back out. He's always made it clear that he's trying to distance himself from Star Wars.
Yet he was totally on board to do new lines for Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
Sound alikes in Star Wars games are... usually bad, but for some reason the Han Solo voices are always a special kind of terrible.
@@soulred5195 maybe Harrison Ford also doesnt like how he sounds in voice over as well, i mean, not all actors are cut to do voice over
@@soulred5195 The only pseudo Harrison Ford voice that has ever worked IMO was the one in Indiana Jones and the Emperor's Tomb.
@Trump4Prison2021 That, and the ton of cash Disney threw his way to do it. In the end, he won.
@Trump4Prison2021 I don't want to start a big thing in this space, but Disney wanted to kill off the two white male protagonists (Han and Luke) because they have an ideology to push.
I remember playing the Star Wars Trilogy at the Ocean City, NJ arcades.
NERD!
😁
Sounds like it was an excellent arcade
Jillys? We have a house there on North Street.
Zazzaro703 Yep that was it!
I am surprised you didn't talk about Return of the Jedi arcade game that was where you would just ride a speeder bike and just avoid hazards. I saw it once and played at this arcade in a camping site place. It also had the arcade Ninja Gaiden game as well. Love your channel by the way.
I did talk about it in my original Star Wars arcade game video. Check my playlist
sorry I might have missed that one. I check it out then
Star... wars? Never heard of it...
LOL
You know, that movies thing from the bearded guy... you know, the thing. Everyone knows the thing. Listen fat... Corn Pop Solo was a real bad dude.
@@SomeOrangeCat I thought that was Star Trek. You know, the one with Gandalf in space.
My stepfather passed away this year and he was a star wars fan and I will play those star wars arcade games in his memory.
Sorry to hear that
Holy mandela effect!!!! I have never seen any of these. Wow.
The first one especially is quite rare
0:05 si-fi in cinema 1902 a trip to the moon
0:21 1927 metropolis
0:26 1953 the war of the worlds
SW: The Original Trilogy Arcade game is still fantastic. I would highly recommend this out of the 3 arcades mentioned in this video.
I like that one as well
Awesome video 👍
Thank you! Cheers!
I love star wars arcade spent my fair share of pounds on them as a kid and if I go into an arcade and see the cabinet it makes me feel like a kid and gives me goosebumps
I hear you, I feel the same way
Star Wars Trilogy has a stand up version which I played just last year at Rec Room in Toronto. Decent game.
I always enjoyed it
Leave the Droids... take the cannoli’s 😂
LOL
Awesome coverage. I actually own the Star Wars Arcade Trilogy machine. I got it for free, as the company I work for was going to throw it out. I know. WTF Indeed. Unfortunately before I worked there, some Nerf Herder removed the 50" screen tv section and ran the video on a wall with a projector. The best i'm going to be able to do, once I get it out of storage, is run a 50" flat panel on it. I got sent to one of our stores in Chicago, and they had two Arcade Trilogy and two linked Pod Racer arcade, both still intact.
Holy moly, talk about a great find. Thank you
I can't play this game on mame ver 0.224 I have tried so many times but it says missing chd or rom images?
Try it on hyperspin, works fine for me.
Hyperspin is a frontend, not an emulator.
@@ZeroB4NG can you tell me an emulator which can play 3d arcade games other than mame?
Do you have both the chd & rom files for the game and in the proper directories?
@@Rando1975 yes I do
Love the video man! Remember the Jurassic Park arcade games!?
Absolutely,It was a lot of fun as well especially in two player
@@PatmanQC-Arcade-Documentaries I'm no gonna lie I always get my ass kicked in 1 player but recently played 2 player w my 7 y/o and we killed it!
I remember star wars in the arecade. That second game had a feature that if you beat the game, it would restart. Fun time
Absolutely :-)
Here in Brazil I never seen any of these cabinets. It would be awesome!
Absolutely, they are great fun
Sega Star Wars! Yeah! Love the jump to hyperspace!
It was really cool :-)
I played the Star Wars Trilogy Arcade at Dave and Buster's (RIP) in 2001. It was kinda easy, but you got your money's worth because it was long and the ease of play meant you got to experience the game rather than blast through missions and wonder afterward what you saw.
We don't have any Dave and busters around here but they sure look cool from the videos I've seen
Gotta love the memories :-)
6:40 Useless fact I know, but I work at the company in the UK that used to make Sega arcade machines, then we'd ship them to the USA. Back in the day we even had game testers, where your job was basically to play the machines after they were built to make sure they worked!
That would be fantastic. What a job :-)
Loves these videos, great job!!!
Thanks so much!
Star Wars Trilogy Arcade is one of the best games ever created. Wish I owned one.
So do I
FANTASTIC!
Thank you! Cheers!
This is one game that deserves a HD remaster the Arcade/32x one
I agree
Yes, I never thought it was until researching this video and came across an article stating that it was in fact a port. My bad
@@PatmanQC-Arcade-Documentaries Just a personal suggestion: when you find out that some of the data in the video is incorrect, maybe you could include an "errata" on the video description/intro text detailing the corrections.
Keep up the good work and thanks for your great videos!👍
So Patman, what is your opinion on the Star Wars BattlePods that were released a few years ago?
I've never had a chance to play it due to my disabilities but my son Has and thought it was great
I loved Star Wars Trilogy, I loved d how when fighting Vader if I turned off my saber Lord Vader says "You are unwise to lower your defenses!" And Vaders voice had a lot of Bass!!!!
Yes, it was really cool
I remember a star wars arcade game carbonate which was like a ball with 360 view like a proper cockpit
Never heard of it, are you talking about battle pod
Isn't there a version of Star Wars Arcade on the 32X? Great video, again. :)
Yes I show it in the video, Thank you
