I realy realy enjoyed listening, watching an learning how you did your chars. I love listening to "re-designing old OC's" vieios bc it help me get my own brain juices going for my own char's
Just came up with a backstory for why the fairy queen could've been bigger than her subjects: she could have been unfairly outcasted by a kingdom of humans, attempting to find solemn in the comfort of the forest, but she became scared and lost, and soon enough injured too. But she came across a large tree, deciding she could hide out there in the night, and so she fell asleep. What she didn't know was magical fairies lived both within and beneath the tree. They took pity on her and preyed to the far spirit, basically their god but they can physically see her at times. She came, understanding the situation she cast a blessing upon the girl, allowing her to keep her size to allow some advantage in combat and such while turning into a fairy-like creature, sworn to protect and lead the fairies. This also gives a similarity between her and Alea with the outcast thing!!!
What if Zeno is also a dragon person, but his family was so well known they couldn't abandon him, so his horns tail and wings were cut off by his parents.
Honestly, this is just the right type of edgy that I would have written back then (positive). If I ever re-visit them again and write more for them, I will certainly consider this!
I very much enjoyed watching this video while drawing my own OC (It's been so long since I've created OC's with a definite story in mind, so this is really helping)

Nah this is THE peak oc revamp I’ve seen in a while- I’d like to see more art of em in the future and more of your art style in general! I like the long video style as well, maybe I just like yappers but idk, light background music you enjoy could be used to fill in the space to keep viewers attention. But my ass was fully intrigued regardless, great video!

This inspired me to look at my old oc's and rework them. Then I remembered all my old oc's were edgy warrior cats characters and have no desire to go back down that road again. I don't think the world is ready just yet. I didn't make another oc after that till I was in college lol

I love the cohesive palletes among themselves, and their personalities and backstories work so well together, everyone having experience with being lookes down apon can really bring them all together. That mindset can also definitely add some drama between eachother, the potential is immaculate.

I redrew on of my first oc’s, and then after seeing how she looked in my current artstyle…. I decided to redesign her! New fleshed out story, new look, a whole new woman! Originally she was called “Bloody Artist” or something similar, her creation was heavily inspired by the early Bloody Painter creepypasta because younger me had a major crush on that character(I know, problematic 🤣). I made Artist to be shipped with Bloody Painter. So, her story was basically just revolving around her obsession with BP and wanting to get his attention by creating works of art(aka murder)! But, with her redesign I decided I wanted her to be more than just an extension, more than just an obsessive fangirl with no personality other than lusting after this dude! So, her rewrite goes like this: Monet Turpentine(that’s her official name) was once a painting of a girl, created by a lonely elderly man with no family. Her creation happened by pure accident, no magical fairy situation like Pinocchio, just raw emotion poured into his works of art. She can leave her portrait during the midnight hour, but she has to return to it before sunrise otherwise she’ll become vulnerable(esp to water) One night she is wandering around the coastal castle where her painter lived, and he woke up. When he discovered his painting had come to life, he had a heart attack and died right in front of her. This broke Monet’s heart, and seeing as she was made from the raw emotions of her Painter she did NOT take grief well. When the elderly painter was discovered dead by a grocer, his castle and all his belongings were eventually sold off… including Monet, since she is a painting and nobody knew she was sentient and could actually leave her painting. So, the man who bought her… get this, was a serial killer. I bet you can’t guess who… go ahead, guess. Jack the ripper. Monet could only watch in horror from her painting as her new owner murdered so many innocent women in front of her(at least the murders that happened in the home?) and this would lead to Monet murdering Jack the ripper(who I gave no other identity than this) after finally having enough of all the insanity. Her painting was auctioned off again. So Monet would go on to murder her next owner and steal their money, and then repeat until she became very wealthy and able to live independently under a false identity. She doesn’t age, because she’s a sentient painting, so she now lives in modern times as an art gallery owner… with a twist. At midnight she opens her “Corpse Gallery” which are these secret gatherings consisting of eccentric murderous artists, and despite many attempts she could never seem to attract the painter she had become obsessed with. Much like her og self, she is still very interested in BP and WANTS to have him, but not necessarily as a love interest just more of an object to “keep” to herself. So yeah, I gave her a lot more depth and an actual backstory to play into why she’s obsessed with a murderous painter! He is a combination of the two things that made her the way that she is, her match. Her new design is very artistic, rather than just a purple-wigged and mask wearing serial killer. I like to think she paints her own outfits, and can bring other paintings to life but without emotions or any defining sense of self like her!

Bro my oc Joshua started out as a glitchtrap persona now he’s this traumatized Asian guy who got sacrificed in a ritual w/his twin and made a contract w/the demon he was sacrificed to to come back. And now he got a whole ass wife and four kids dawg 😭😭❌❌ why did I create him. Don’t regret it tho he’s my fav
NAHHH the GT oc is so real bro,, one of my main OCs came into being bc my other OC was one of my main rp ocs that i used in this rp group where we were all a part of GT´s cult (ended up getting us all groomed and my friends SA´d but anyway) and i needed to replace GT in their story

But translating it didn’t get me that much (however the first and last letters are B and S respectively which could end up as bubbs if you squint and also fudge it a little) I just find codes neat
