Modern Chun-Li is a force to be reckoned with. I think you do well with characters like these because of your mastery of Juri. I am so looking forward to watching your A.K.I gameplay. You are crushing it!
Modern Chun-Li is looking very Compact. While Classic offers way more mix up and potential, theres a lot more mental stack that comes with it, which messes with consistency. What Modern loses in that potential, it gains in consistency, whether its air-kicks for grab fake outs, punishing projectiles, punishing jumps, or lvl1 DA's at the wall. All of these things are obviously possible on Classic, but on Modern they're much more easier to perform, allowing the player to focus more on the opponent than their own inputs or reactions. Chun just seems to be one of the few characters where the damage loss from Modern just doesn't affect her that much. If Capcom sticks to their 1 major patch a year statement, Im starting to believe ModernChun is just the way to go, unless you're tournament go-hard. But if you're just a guy who plays normally or gets Top 8 at their locals, then go wild with it.
Modern Chun is an absolute neutral THREAT. The way you just punished every poke with crMK xx Ex Kicks or stuffed anti airs felt like it was the ever-dominating 3S chun. Those tick throws were also on point. Great video!
I like how you show the bracket after the match. I think it would be cool to show if it is winners or losers bracket, and also to say what place the loser will get /got at the start or end of each losers match
Tip: when punish counter with 2HP, cancel into SS MK deals more damage. It also enables combo using OD fireball for better damage if you have extra meters or don't need corner carry
@@luisbo3 that pretty good actually. I keep pressing the wrong button between two actions games that uses O or X to dodge . there should be a standard which is the dodge button 😂 . Using two different controllers makes it easier for sure
i'm a noob but trying to learn chun li , can comeone explains me why he did not do more DR cancel at 8:34 to kill juri ? it was not possible caus of something i dont know ? he wasnt sure of the kill so he tried to not be in burnout ?
So, as someone who doesn't play the game, I've an observation and question. It seems to me that you block less than your opponents. They often block and entire attack string and then go into offense themselves. But you more often let yourself be hit and then interupt their offense at a specific time or when they make a timing mistake. Is that on purpose (your "style of play")? And am I seeing this correctly or is it just coincidence?
Modern Chun-Li is great I just am still wrapping my mind around how she does combos because I have so much classic controls muscle memory from the past I still need to move on though and will do so but progress is slow.
I was watching the modern chun-li versus Juri match up hoping the earth cracked open and the sf6 servers fell in so y’all got double DQed and both lost 😂
I couldn't watch the TNS tournament where he played Modern Chun. The commentators were SOOOO bad. They were just dogging Modern controls through out the whole tourney. Disappointing for sure.
I have to mute *most* tournaments because nearly always the commentators are like "YOOOOO BROO, WHAT WUZ THAAAAAAAT?!?! RAWR!" and im not really down for listening to adult lads scream like 12 year olds who just found a rare pokemon
Personally, im a big believer of the old saying.. "You cant beat a classic" Modern controls are okay for newbies but for actual skill, classic all the way.

Nice to hear Omega Strikers ost.
14:25 that was the first time I see someone using this super.
Yesssss Commander Yammark and Omega Strikers songs !! 🎵🎵🎵🎵🎵 Thanks a lot for compiling this video together for Modern Chun-Li ✨✨✨

Your Chun-li Gameplay shows how good Chun-li is again . Im the biggest Chun-li fan and Love to watch Pros playing like Gods with her .
Love seeing high-level modern usage. Modern really changed my view of the game and I find a lot more characters interesting now.
How do you switch your brain from classic to modern inputs ? That’s super hard 😂
For it to make sense in my brain i play modern in ps5 pad and classic in snackbox
To be fair, he’s one of the best players in NA
M / H / S / DI
L / Parry / Assist
This is how. Grab and parry can be the same two fingers you use. And di is pinky whichever one u use

I use stick for classic and pad for modern. For me it's easier to not mess my inputs if the controller is different.

you would need to give me some timestamps as examples, not really sure what you're talking about exactly
whats your button layout look like? I've been dabbling in modern chun since your last vid and I find assist + medium to get crmp so awkward
I’d like to know that too
assuming editor is also deep in his omega strikers addiction?
noticed the music and searched omega
Nice to see more pros trying modern in tournament.
Is it?
It is
Not having the ex fireball combo option in the corner with Modern 😢
music is from editor or you like omega strikers?
I never seen somebody who is a Pro with Modern und Classic Inputs .Big respect
Tokido at one point
Shuto
I dig the Megaman X opener music
Still can't figure out if Luke says "long ride to Memphis!" or "I'm a blonde guy from Memphis!"
At least you can do Stance Lk - Super.... When I try to do that in a combo I get hazanshu or nothing
I love how literally everyone said Modern Chun-Li is the worst modern character and pointless to play
Modern Chun-Li is great I just am still wrapping my mind around how she does combos because I have so much classic controls muscle memory from the past I still need to move on though and will do so but progress is slow.
Would you be using modern chun if you didn't have access to instant supers?
Would you be considered a Trash hater if you couldn’t comment?
it's literally like playing a different game 💀
W streamer
you should not have lost that last set that JP pissed me off
Is it just me or when you fight against modern chun it feels like she never runs out of drive meter?
That's semij from mk lol mad

I Main dhalsim so I feel you lol
bro you're very skilled and entertaining to watch, but those sounds your arcade stick makes are so annoying i had to watch the entier video on mute
Nvidia Broadcast program would solve this problem. It removes background noise from the mic while keeping voice intact.

Modern chun busted
Ok
I hate to say but straight up robbed Game 2
