- Today, we have our second video for AKI in our road to master series for SF6. I've spent some time learning the combo routes and offensive pressure using her poison and there's definitely some tricky stuff in our toolkit.
A.K.I., the maniacal mistress of poison, will slither her way into Fighting Ground, World Tour, and Battle Hub in Street Fighter 6 on September 27.
Feeding off orders from her master, she injects poison into enemies that dare stand within striking distance - all with a smile. You can’t fix her, but she will fix you.
Owners of the Year 1 Character Pass, Deluxe Edition, or Ultimate Edition will automatically get access to A.K.I. when she unlocks. Get a taste of her poison for an hour with a Rental Fighter ticket, which can be obtained in Fighting Passes.
Street Fighter 6, the next game in the iconic series, will release in 2023! Take part in the Fighting Ground, which focuses on the classic fighting game experience with modes from previous games in the series. Two new modes will be available alongside: World Tour, an immersive single-player story experience, and Battle Hub, which will further expand the scope of player communication and engagement. Some people said she had trash damage while im over here doing close to 4k with only one drive bar and zero supers, she a combo feind fr
Her damage is absolutely fine dunno what ppl are talking about. It also becomes very high if opponent is poisoned. Still she is kinda hard to play, need a lot of muscle memory. I also wonder why her OD qcf KK isn't invincible...doesn't make sense to me.
People said the same thing about Cammy but people learned to optimize her combos

You’re a great teacher, man. The way you breakdown the sequences and strengths/weaknesses of a character is crystal clear. If I’m learning a new character, I go to your road to master series first
I love the concepts you go over at the start of your videos, understanding the mindset is harder for a newbie like me to grasp so having it explained clearly is really helpful

One weakness I can see of AKI in the future is that one fireball speed means opponent can consistently PP without danger of you mixing up fireball speed timings. She does mad damage poisoned in the corner so if she corners you and you're poisoned, just take the throw.
Im glad there's uses for the command grab. Its a pretty sick move so itd be sad if it was just never used
Kazunoko is using d+HP as a frame kill after that corner sequence to get a safejump, instead of puddle then bubble. Haven't labbed it yet, but just FYI.

I think you can also get a safe jump after a vertical whip in the corner if your opponent is not poisoned

She is such a good character but she is really hard to play and remember her combos and even figure them out
Nephew, are you having trouble with controls since update? I haven't had this happen once until now. I'm getting dash when I input parry>DR. Looked at my inputs and the dash is being input with the buttons held. Happening about 5 -10% of the time. Sucks trying to do AKI combos when it can happen out of the blue.

I fought online a couple of days ago for an hour or two -- every fight was against an AKI player! Too popular!

You know what? I wish characters and outfits could be free for every player who need them. First i desired to play and choose Rashid but it was locked, so i had to get fighter coin. I still didn't purchase them. Now i guess my main will make a pass to A.K.I. Great hopes on your career Nephew.
