Love those orcs, I was disappointed in Mordor orcs 10 years ago, they didn't have any armor, they were just orc workers.
I got Barad Dur set and ordered 7 more orcs from Bricklink, they are really expensive but I wanted to make small army.
Hope in the future they will make more LOTR sets and battlepacks with orcs, Rohan army, Gondor army and much more...

You could use black dragon knight helmets from the last lego Castle wave and those torsos backwards, vermillion helmets and bronze scimitars, also potentially ninjago dragon hunter hoods armor, and weapons, round silver shields, chima armor (silver with pauldrons), ninjago pauldrons, nexo knight armor, plain lego castle shields, chima crocodile heads, ninjago turquoise ghost Cole and yang heads (maybe), grey zombie heads, troll parts from one of the older lego castle waves, short capes, pieces from the lego dungeons and dragons set (there was an orc in that), the lego orc from the minifigure series.

I'm not sure how you feel about sand green orcs, but I really love the 2008 fantasy era orcs and there's a lot of them in my horde
I specifically didn’t use them in this army, they will get their own army
I agree, the official LOTR/H sets did not have enuf Orc figures or even Orc armor! I've been slowly buying extra LOTR Orcs here and there, but so expensive. I've also doing similar with Trolls faction "orcs" (from Fantasy era Castle). They're a little more cartoony, but mixed in with LOTR Orcs, they're not bad at all. I didn't know about Chima parts, I'll look into those.
Chima parts are pretty cheap too

You might also want some orc groups mounted on Caragors, don't know if you said that:) But trolls, urag-hai(war trolls) and war elephants would also be cool👍
Definitely have plans on making more types of units for this army but just wanted to get things rolling for now

Love your take on orc army building, I was looking at some of the non Lego orc army accessories and you can get a bunch of shields for a decent price
Thanks, yeah I’ve seen some decent fake Lego orcs, I personally don’t have interest in non Lego stuff
I use minifigures from Nexo Knights for custom orc figures. They are very cheap (Beast Master, Crust Smasher, Flame Throver etc...).
I actually want to create an army of those on their own
Awesome orc horde 🔥 If I can offer a bit of constructive criticism, the Shredder helmet is a bit distracting because it looks like Shredder. But everything else is good!

I agree that I immediately saw it and though "Hey! That's Shredder's helm!" But I also said "What a great orc helmet! I should have thought of that." It didn't pull me out of it, and blended in with other orcs, it fits great.

I added the gunmetal-grey crystalized armour piece (piece 86124) to one of the green orcs from Barad-Dur and it looks pretty good.
That looks pretty good I might try to get my hands on some
oof, seeing that arm and leg pulled off the orc hurts me, you must know the best way to detach and re attach them!
@@supercoolguy99 yeah pulling the arms and legs off can be terrifying but doing it to new stuff isn’t super risky
According to rumors new pieces will be added tomorrow on the PaB which includes some cool Ninjago armour pieces in black and grey.

I don't know how much of a LEGO purist you are, but there are some great replica weapons and shields on websites like Ali Express. Yes, the minifigures aren't great quality, but the accessories are great and offer way more variety for half the cost of LEGO.

I actually plan to keep those separate, and believe it or not my army of them is bigger than this army
Why do u dislike the OG orcs they are GOATED. I have 42 of the OG orcs and 44 of the OG Uraki. In addition I have every LEGO LOTR and Hobbit set ever made. I also have all 9 OG Nazgûl + the horses
I do like them, they just aren’t a great army builder like I said it’s like clone army building
well , the price x orc is going to go down , look at sauron : 100 euros 2 weeks ago and now is 77 euros and it's still going down , i belive the orc will eventualy be 7 euros per orc or 12

Building an orc army has nothing to do with clone army building as clone army building heavily relies on canon and structure of the army that Republic has, based on the canon books and not all ranks are available to us. With orcs you can just stack as many as you want, whenever you want, you can switch heads, armor and torsos with 0 creativity and call it a day. With just a platoon of 40 clones you need to have 4 sergeants/officers, a lieutenant and 36 of clones of the same kind while lego released 0 phase 2 lieutenants and the only officer is a 501st one. You have mistaken larping army builders that just stack figures on a baseplate with actual army builders.
First off the orc army does have ranks and structure, and secondly my comparison to the clone army is simply do the the fact that the original Mordor orcs were all identical
So creating an army of identical clones with exact numbers of officers requires more creativity than creating a horde of unique orcs with varied armor and weapons? Congrats, you played yourself
Every Orc is supposed to be different tho clones they are well clones they are pretty much the same with different training and armor also Orcs have commanders, officers, captains, lieutenants, warchiefs, warlords, overlords even generals although some of these titles might not be canon they have still been used
