      @@indianathe3rd742 Blender is pretty good for budget PC's actually, I wouldn't worry too much about that. Only time it gets really resource intensive is when you're trying to model whole hyper detailed scenes, like developing large AAA quality maps is going to be a bitch. Also if you're doing rendering it can get quite expensive, like trying to make movies or physics intensive simulations. A 15 year old budget PC could probably handle what he has done here just fine.

    I've seen loads of games that use unreal engine as their main source for adding items into games, and I can just say I will applaud anyone who can do that because I know I will never understand how to do that😂

      Oh yes! If you wat to bake AO and normals you should not do this, but for simple texturing its a wonderful workflow!

    You can let Unreal do the second uv channel and the collision mesh for you during import. Works great for me 99% of the times. Apart from that, great one minute tut!

      From our experience, using auto lightmaps is not a good idea. It will most of the times result in less good packed Lightmaps, that are a bit inefficient. To make those looking good with baked lighting, you need a higher lightmap res, resulting in a larger project and in theory, less performance (due to more image data).
      The auto collision is indeed damn good in UE4, it kinda got stuck in my workflow though haha!

      @@BleakmillGames Actually I was working in unity. And I found that if you don't UV unwrap properly weird artifacts appear. Also, the thing is that I encounter myself with shadow on the edges when progressive baking the light. Still haven't found the solution for that, but your method eliminated all the other artifacts :)

    Nice tutorial. He said keep basic shapes so it will save lots of troubles when uv unwrapping. No matter how complex the model looks like in real world , u need to use basic shapes to recreate in 3d. I learned it hard way so u better listen to him.
