    The Export selection is available in GIMP version 2.8. If you don't have this then you're probably using an earlier version. If you are using an earlier version then select "Save As" and give your file name a .gif extension. One way to convert the animation to a movie is to play the animation while you capture it with a screen recorder. One popular screen recorder is called CamStudio.

    this is how you make a first class tutorial, no disco background music, clearly and slowly spoken, each step in an easy way to follow.

    I have looked at different offerings and I like that you have the same version that I am using making it easier to apply what is learned. Very clear instructions.

    Thank you for this video. I appreciate how you explain every step and every detail, leaving nothing out. If only all gimp video tuts were as precise as your's.
    I was taught- If you can't do it properly don't do it at all.

    WOW! this is the first tutorial I found to be informative, step by step following resulted in rendering the image exactly as expected. I would like to add a few points, 1. choose a bigger image size if your text is longer. 2. Add few more light points if the text is longer.

  • @GabrielHasbun

    Yes. The video encoder included with GAP allows you to encode it and decode it. So if you want to upload it to TH-cam, the mpeg2 container is the one I use.

    I cant get enough 2nd tutorial now Great Job

  • @GabrielHasbun
    @GabrielHasbun 12 ปีที่แล้ว

    You can do all the music adding with GAP as well. You need to create the music file with another program like Audacity or Cubase, though.
    GAP stands for (GIMP Animation Package) and it gives the power of frame level editing(each frame becomes an image within the GIMP interface) to GIMP.

  • @GabrielHasbun
    @GabrielHasbun 12 ปีที่แล้ว

    ctrl+shift+e if you are using GIMP 2.8(check the version at the help dialog, clicking on 'about'). Otherwise, older versions of GIMP have the export option at the same 'save' dialog.

    when i use iwarp the whole picture is one the left top and when i do like you said and put this thing in the mid and then come to the step to look how it looks like animated it doesnt get bigger well it kinda does but not like yours. just the edges get bigger and i think thats because it wasnt the middle when i used iwarp so i tried to put the letters in the mid but then i just reform them so yeah (my english is bad so idk if you understand it)
