    Will it allow me to record my speakers under the desk? I can’t find any video of whole position’s ranges.

    Can the Samson Q2U mount to this without any extra hardware?

    You know how to lock de mic in place? for example with the original psa1 if you tight the screws the mic cant spin but with the psa1+ i can't do that

      I have no issues with the PSA1+ - my mic is not spinning.

    Thanks for the great and clear video man! I want to how exactly the NT-USB Mini attach to the arm before I invest it, but most of the video just skip that part lol

    Hi Chris, can you turn the PSA1+ arm 360degrees? Or does it cap out when it is straight? So 180degree turn only? Hope that makes sense.

    If you don't want to be spending an arm and a leg on a simple boom arm- I'd recommend trying out the brand TONOR: TONOR T10 boom arm to be specific. On the more cost friendly side and build quality and functionality is TOP TIER for that pricing. Holds my shure MV7 mic with no problem, and my friends SM7B mic fits amazingly too.
    RODE's boom arm's are so pricey just because of the brand name, nothing special or unique about them tbh

    the branding is a non starter for me. i own a fair amount of Rode products, and the blatant branding is a problem. Gaff tape to the rescue!

      Like I mentioned in my video: I agree. It's really too bad they are trying to push their brand name so much on the products. I would prefer it if subtle or not present at all.

      it’s really easy to just cut the sleeve off. And, you can cut it off without removing the cable management clips. It’ll pretty much look exactly like the PSA1 but with the clips instead of cable ties. (i’m sure it’s not too difficult to take the clips off, but i don’t see why you’d want to.)

    • @Evolved-Tradez
      @Evolved-Tradez 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ChrisSpiegl just a heads up, you can cut those sleeves off with the branding. The wire clips aren't attached to it.

    I got the rode psa 1+ for Christmas while I'm not a fan of the branding if they wanted it that big they could have done it once, the psa 1 was a no as it could smack you in the face and it being constantly sold out in 2020 still annoys me as I had to search for months for a cheap alternative, and that cheap boom arm in this video wouldn't even hold the blue yeti

    Came on. Stop complaining about the rode label on Psa1+. If you don’t like that white writing just paint with black paint or cover with black stick. Big deal😂

    16:28 The whole reason I won't be buying this. Lets just be real. The connotations besides the horrid look are disgusting. Indiscrete branding not only screams cheap shit brand, it implies costumers get it as a status symbol; sure, some trash people might, but the rest of us would prefer a product that isn't build on the assumption that we're trash.
