    Lcg chassis was my first big upgrade on my slash, and it honestly makes the car look a lot better; as well as making it a whole lot more stable.

      I had to mod my body so the tires wouldn't rub. But it handles so much better. Hardly ever rolls anymore. You got put a little more pre-load in the shocks for off-road

    Great decision, my Slash 4x4 Ultimate is incredible and I swear it is unbreakable. I run the plastic Traxxas Extreme Heavy Duty Driveshafts always on 3s and for me I've never had a problem until a few weeks ago, they aged and became weak, but when the were still in good condition they would not break for anything or anyone! They are so underrated! 😂
    Can I recommend the chassis brace as well? Probably the best upgrade for it in my opinion, Easier to control at speeds on rough terrain and keeps the chassis perfect. (TRX6730)
    Awesome video and awesome build!

      @rt66rc86 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I agree entirely with you! The HS drive shafts that come in the Ultimate are tough and long lasting! I'll also be adding that chassis brace to mine as well. I'm not a basher, just a hill climber and a performance driver! Thanks for the advice regarding the brace my friend!

      @@RCKnockout Your videos and repair/maintenance domos really help all of us new to RC people out here that have our hands full with being nervous about first time driving, let alone first time wrenching! :)
      I had no idea that it was going to be a trial by fire kind of thing in learning to drive one of these things with any level of decent skill! I see so many good videos by a lot of very good, experienced RC guys out here that can really drive, and they made it look so easy! I've been severely humbled by finding out that the RC driving world is a whole nother kind of "thing"... But I'm having a ton of fun and that's what it's all about, so "drive, wreck, fix and carry on". Picked up a new V2 Maxx! Nice rig.
