@@MishMashMoto thanks! I’ll end up going one step further in the next one 🙈🙉 the stock tip is barely 20mm, I thought it might be restrictive so I modify it again later. Similar to what “life of birch” did with his. Noticeably better flow & performance each time
@613Builds I have not seen what he did to his yet. I modified mine with the sound level in mind because we use campgrounds a lot and get in late sometimes. It works very well and is still quiet. If you want to try it, just cut it 3/4" in from the mounting plate (just before where they welded it together). This will expose the packing chamber (leave the packing in). Wear saftey glasses and a respirator so you don't inhale any fibers (exhaust packing is bad for you).
@@613Builds I am posting a video for you to see how we did ours now. It should be up later today sometime. I encouraged people to look at your design in my description also.
@@Dean_Price yes I changed to a bigger carb . It could run a bit lean at higher rpm’s if you introduce more air without compensating the fuel mixture. You can try adjusting carb, moving needle clip, or changing jets but personally I upgraded to a 27mm PZ27 carb, more flow and bigger jets, then I did a big bore 222 kit with a Pz30, 30mm carb
Lean at high rpm could possibly cause higher temperature or lean detonation, but changing or adjusting carb should compensate. I’ve upgraded my carburetor several times
I've watched several of your videos now and I'm gaining a lot of useful information. Question about the screen removal /PZ27 installation. I already have the PZ27 and a aftermarket exhaust. I want to remove the screen for increased air flow but also to monitor the boot to box connection. Will I have to rejet the PZ27? Thanks
@@keepiton2carson I’m not done with it yet. I did a carb swap in the big bore install video, This 27mm carb is close enough for now, but I might add a bigger cam or head with bigger valves. I will definitely want to tune it I’ve just been super busy with life working full time and my mom is in the hospital , and sometimes it takes me time to edit, produce and export videos.
@@DustySteel I’ve been eyeballing some of the stainless steel CRF exhaust. I’m told that CRF 150 and CRF 230 exhaust will fit. It does appear to be the same frame aand engine the CRF 150 F. But if your budget oriented, this can work.
@@613Builds the iSTUNT that I bought is for the crf150f and where it bolts to the frame in the mid section; I had to cut the bracket and bend it so it didn’t push that part of the exhaust into the shock. It was black chrome but it changed colors up to the muffler. Good sounding exhaust thought and it comes with a spark arrestor. I offered them a lower price and they agreed. Was only around $130 usd after taxes and shipping.
Thanks for watching 😎👍
That is a great way to open up the stock exhaust! 👍🏼👍🏼

@@613Buildsdoes it increase hp if you remove entire baffle ? Or should I just drill it like you did yours ? I’m not really worried about sound so much
How much is your fuel consumption now ? Thanks

Do you have to rejet after the airbox mod what could happen if you don’t

What if you completely remove the baffle ?
You can, eventually I did. But you need to be creative because the baffle flange also holds the exhaust tip . I used a hole saw
why didn’t you re jet the carb

I just watched a video of the SSS exhaust and apparently it’s expensive crap! Don’t buy lol.
