Another thing I found while messing around with the alt shotgun, the primary fire does more damage the faster you are moving, so if you hit something with the primary fire while moving fast enough for the gauge to be in the red zone, you do a shit ton of damage and the shotgun goes into an overheated animation and has to cool down. This works for all 3 variants.
@@colbydoan2836 you can do this normally but it’s not very useful, use the piston core throw while falling and knuckle blast shockwave, it will send it up and forward, do a piston core launch with perfect aim to snipe the grenade in the distance, one weapon core nuke achieved
This also works with rockets, at least with frozen rockets or rockets you’re riding. Doesn’t seem to work with the cannonball, drill, or sawblades from my testing. Chainsaw will be deflected like if you hit it with feedbacker but doesn’t work with coins
Im kinda dissapointed by the chainsaw interaction Like at least have it be a knuckleblast punch instead of a feedbacker, there isnt much insentive to go alt sawed on

next question : can you shoot a core eject with core eject's hitscan? or maybe stack freezed rockets with it, since you can also shoot them with the altshotgun?
does this mean you can turn any projectile into hitscan? can you try this with the rocket launcher rockets? maybe freeze a rocket in the air and then launch it with the alt shotgun?
