I remember a kit just like this me and my dad put together, there was also the GMC 5 star general that was pretty much the same truck. As much as I love the detail and discipline of building the big 1/24th scale, I remember having a lot of these 132nd scale tractor and trailer kits me and my dad would put together all the time by stopping at Zayre's on the way home from his Jacksonville run in either the cab over Kenworths or Freightliners his company had that he drove for In the late 1970s and early 80s I love your channel it's inspiring me to get my building done and fun.
I love to drive them trucks back then I use to put a big truck together every weekend but I got out of it now I want to start putting them together again
Working on that one myself, tandems for the trailer are done. I am going to hybridize an AMT Kenworth W925 kit, with the Revell W900 aerodyne kit. I had too many problems with the AMT kit, so I'm going to use the cab and sleeper I haven't assembled and place it on the W900 rolling chassis. I have all the decals that cost about 50 Bucks for the whole decal kit.
Always fun to watch. Any time I watch his semi videos I’m thrown back to my childhood and watching BJ and the Bear, Smokey and the Bandit and Convoy. Thanks😊
What a joy to see this truck again ! I built this as the Monogram kit back in ’82 and was my first truck . Absolutely loved it and the box description with the CB lingo was super cool . Thanks for this super build , brings back many happy childhood model building memories !
Hi Chris great job.on all u vids ,love watching them every week they relax me after a long days work, sometimes I go to work on 3 hrs sleep by watching ur vids cause I have to finish them till the end. My favorite is OVER THE TOP by silvester stallone
My favorite kit is the 40 Ford , but I love all kits. Making the Military a career it was hard to hang on to all of them . Have no oldest kit. Thank You Jason for all you do for this hobby. Your you tube Friend in Alaska. 👍👍👊👊🤝
My favorite rig from a movie is the old oil tanker from the movie “Duel”. The moment you said name your favorite, Duel was the first movie that came to mind. Great build, really enjoy the videos!
my favorite big rig from the movies is Smoky and the bandit 2. I drove a GMC General that was converted to a grain truck on the wheat harvest and always loved these trucks. Love the scream of a Detroit Diesel engine.
I built this one back in 1995 as my first conventional big rig. I love this new box art and it'll certainly take up a lot less space than the 25th and 24th scale trucks I have now in my stash! The color scheme is reminiscent of the Shell oil company - now that's an idea, bringing it back with the oil tanker trailer! Now you mention TV shows and movies from the 70s and 80s that featured these types of trucks, I always loved "BJ and the Bear" and "Movin' On".
My favorite show, dealing with trucking, is Ice Road Truckers. I’m a big fan of 1/32 truck kits. I like to modify/kit bash my rigs to represent heavy haul trucks and trailers.
Absolutely love the bandit tractor trailer!!! I have seen it a few times in person and the movie doesn’t do it Justice!!! Love the movie and all the vehicles in it!
Beautiful!!! I built one of these when I was 11, and it came out nice. Thankfully I still have it; the choice of stripes would be a perfect reason for me to rebuild it. And my favorite movie/tv big rig is from a cartoon: Optimus Prime!
Excellent job building this one. It looks like another well engineered Revell kit. I am really impressed the kit has dash decals. I wouldn’t go to a funeral dressed in feathers, but I like the original Smokey and the Bandit rig. Thanks for holding the contest and sharing this video.
My grandfather and father were both in the trucking industry for a long time and I’ve always had a fascination with big rigs, been wanting to get into building model semis for sometime now but just haven’t pulled the trigger yet, this looks like a great kit to start with, my favorite movie rig by far is the rubber duck Mack with the Smokey and the bandit kenworth being a close second. Would love to build a semi truck model kit and give it to my dad as a gift.
Revell has done it with another winner. Just the right scale so it won't take up half the living room on display - this is book shelf ready. And just the right amount of detail for a weekend build. I was buffaloed by the inside duallies until I saw the "finished product". Clever, and mathematically, saving 50 cents per kit on half a million sales makes a tidy savings that was obviously passed along to us (I saw the price - NICE). BTW, I was ousted from Facebook as I would only ever show the back of my head.
I definitely love the Bison I do like the GMC general nothing like old school trucks you can work on .the new ones you need to be a rocket scientist to work now.im glad revell came back out with the bison.my favorite rig was from smokey an the bandit two love the GMC truck in it an the trailer that matched
Heavy Chevies certainty were great trucks . Dual exhaust with rain caps , multi state license plates , small sleeper and extra bumper lights make this old school cool . I will need to purchase several and build every color combo from the decal sheet . Thanks for highlighting this new release Chris . Hopefully the Freightliner cabover will be re-done next by Revell
I gotta say that Snowmans truck is my favorite from Smokey and the bandit. It's such a beautiful tractor trailer combo. That and the music is awesome, and the movie is hilarious, lol. The k-100 from Breaker Breaker is a close 2nd. Ty for the vids.
Always enjoyed your work and videos. My favorite truck is from Knight Rider. Nothing beats a big black truck. My second favorite truck is from the movie Convoy, another black truck driven by the Rubber Duck.
Man, I liked all those Trucks from the movies you mentioned and more... I'm gonna have to go with Movin' On though... Big Claude Akins fan. Thanks for proving once again that the model doesn't have to be complicated to come together nicely and look good on the shelf.
This turned out great! With it being a "push together" it should cut the build time in half compared to the glue together kits. As far as the movie big rigs go, I like the 1975 Ford WT-9000 COE in White Line Fever as well as the 1973 Kenworth W-925 from Movin' On. Of course, who doesn't love the Kenworth W-900 from Smokey and the Bandit? I once, a very long time ago when I was in high school, built a Bison kit. I wish that I still had all of those kits from back then. If I remember correctly, I built that Bison sometime around late 1979 or Early 1980. Also, if memory serves correctly it was an AMT kit. Although, I could be wrong... It was a very long time ago...
Great model kit,I remember when i use to go down to k mart and buy it for about$ 5.00 ,the chevy bison was a great kit, I"M glad that there coming back out with the old kits. jerry"s model works
Great job. Looks like a really fun build. I love those Revell truck kits…fun to build and easy to detail and customize up with painted details and add-ons.
Unfortunately, I don't have Facebook, I'm not old enough. My favorite movie 18 wheeler has to be Snowman's Kenworth from Smokey and the Bandit. thanks for showing us a great model.
Really lovely finish with this. Your decals came out great. Can’t wait to try the blue ones! My favorite movie rig is Duel’s 1960 Peterbilt 351 for sure.
Another great build Chris! This and the 1/32 Mack truck kit are on my list to purchase next! I’ll make them as tribute to my Dad who always lived the big rigs. Sonny’s Kenworth from “Moving On” has always been my favorite rig followed by the “Blue Mule” Ford cab over from “White Line Fever”.
I remember building most of them 1/32 truck kits way back when! Favorite all time movie truck is the "Blue Mule" (Ford WT900) from White Line Fever. Would love to see a kit of that truck.
I'm a car builder but this would be a fun build. My fav big rig I'd have to say the tuck from Kight Rider especially since the original rig and trailer have been found and being restored.
I love the fact it's back!! As for my favourite Truck film, I'm torn between an Australian film called Road Games which had a Mercedes-Benz COE close to mine, or the 1965 Bedford VAL motorcoach from The Beatles' Magical Mystery Tour....
Love building the Big Rigs!!!!!!! 👍👍
I remember a kit just like this me and my dad put together, there was also the GMC 5 star general that was pretty much the same truck. Yeah, that was the GMC General! What a TRUCK! Smokey and The Bandit got me hooked!!! 😂👍😉
Wow,I still have the original kit built sitting on my shelf from when I was kid over 40years ago!
I love to drive them trucks back then I use to put a big truck together every weekend but I got out of it now I want to start putting them together again
My favorite truck is the 1974 Kenworth W-925 from Movin’ On. But I also love the semi from Duel and Knight Rider.
Favorite rig is the Smokey and the bandit truck! Good luck to all!
Working on that one myself, tandems for the trailer are done. I am going to hybridize an AMT Kenworth W925 kit, with the Revell W900 aerodyne kit. Always like watching you! I to am a fan of the rattle can for my painting. Built the GMC General back in the 80's, love this scale!
my favorite big rig from the movies is Smoky and the bandit 2. I drove a GMC General that was converted to a grain truck on the wheat harvest and always loved these trucks. Love the scream of a Detroit Diesel engine.
Back in the late 70's I worked at a chev dealership and got to drive a lot of these. See this brings back a lot of memories.
I built this one back in 1995 as my first conventional big rig. I love this new box art and it'll certainly take up a lot less space than the 25th and 24th scale trucks I have now in my stash! Absolutely love the bandit tractor trailer!!! I have seen it a few times in person and the movie doesn’t do it Justice!!! Love the movie and all the vehicles in it!
I love all movie or tv semi trucks. Im a truck lover anyway. I done this kit when i was a teen in the 80's in black and orange.
Those were some of the nicest trucks on the road in their day. I miss the days when trucks had class and personality.
Another outstanding video and presentation. My favorite movie rig was on Convoy
Cool build man. My favorite rig has to be from B.J. and the Bear. I remember watching that show when I was young.
Nice looking build....Favorite movie CONVOY.....Miles of Smiles..10-4 Good Buddy...

The green Kenworth from the 80's movie thunder run is my favorite semi.
My favorite big rig would have to be the one from smokey and the bandit. that movie was what got me introduced to cars.
Great work on the Bison Chris! If I had to pick a favorite rig it would be the International Transtar with tanker in the 1984 Terminator movie!
Great build. I remember their first release back in the 80s it also included a cab over similar to the serie BJ and the Bear.
Maximum Overdrive is favorite movie truck.
favorite TV show truck was BJ and the Bear.

Smokey and the bandit is my favorite. If I win this kit, I’d love to do the box art!
Really cool kit, love your videos. My favorite rig is got to be from Smokey and the bandit.
My favorite movie truck is Duel!
Quick suggestion....
Paint the inside of the sleeper compartment with the same color as your interior or flat black. Makes the rest of the inside pop.
My favorite movie semi is the "Smokey and the Bandit KW" and my favorite TV semi is yes another KW from the "Movin on" show.
As always great build Chris
Smokey and the Bandit II is my fav.
the "Moving On" rig!!!
I look at all these models and think... can I get that to fit with an Scx24 so I can drive it..! Very kewl stuff!
That came out great! 👍
my favorite movie rig has to be the rubber duck from convoy, big blacked out mack just looks mean
Oh yes, there was also the Bedford VAL coach at the end of the original "Italian Job" movie that ended up hanging off a cliff!
