You are an amazing person. Don't let anyone make you feel otherwise. We all get anxious and depressed and that's our business!!! Don't change, you are an honest down to earth lovely lady!! Once the sun starts to shine again, our moods will improve. Alex's bread makes my mouth water! Sending hugs xxx
Dear Maddie, I know this video is a few months old now but it came up on my feed today at just the right time! I've been going through a really bad period of anxiety recently, and watching lots of TH-cam homemaking videos has got me thinking 'if only I lived in a cute cottage in the country I wouldn't be feeling anxious ' so this was the perfect reminder that anxiety can affect anyone, anywhere! It just made me feel a lot better to hear you say this, and be so honest with us, made me feel less alone, and that I'll get through this, and that changing my location isn't the quick fix my brain tells me it is 😆🩷 thanks so much, hope you're doing well right now 🩷
I think one of the many charms of a “quiet” vlog like this is that the beauty of everyday small things comes through so clearly. The crackling crust of homemade read, the sparkle of the sun, the peace of a cozy day at home. I actually appreciate the pace of your renovations- the reality for most of us is that we have to prioritize, sequence and save for things, and it is refreshing to see someone in the online space doing the same. Thank you for sharing about your mental health struggles. The ebb and flow of mental health runs right against the linear achievements oriented structure that we try to force everything into. Bless you for your transparency and gracious spirit.
Thank you for such a beautiful thoughtful comment. It really meant a lot to me to read and I agree with everything you’ve said. This helps me so much with my creating when I receive such wonderful feedback like this ❤
Madeline - I’m 24, not vegan, and live in the United States. I’ve been watching your videos and enjoying cooking your meals at home for the past 5 years :) Your videos have been such a comfort for me over the years. I love keeping up with you, Alex, and your pets. Your videos are never boring! I think most of us are here for comfort and peace and will always be interested in whatever it is you’re up to. Thank you for continuing to share your life with us and for being vulnerable ❤
I have been absolutely loving your vlogs- they actually help so much with my anxiety and calm me down- it’s like I’m hanging out with a lovely friend, and I appreciate having the time with you so much. I watch or listen in the morning or when I’m doing chores, and it’s really the most relaxing way to start the day- and your abundance mindset around eating and working out is such a healthy influence on me as well :) thank you for doing what you do. Thank you for being a real person. Wish I could give you a hug when you’re feeling down, because that is what your vlogs feel like to me ❤
I really appreciate you sharing about your mental health. The truth is that even when life is beautiful and we see our blessings, we can still experience teetering moods and anxiety. It’s important to be able to say out loud what you’re feeling. It’s cathartic. I so love your channel. It’s a lovely pleasure for me. Thank you for everything you do.
I absolutely love your content and think you're wonderful. I watch your videos anytime I feel a bit low and it cheers me right up. Sending you a huge hug for the bad days, and I hope you know how many people you bring happiness to! x
I’ve been following you for many years. When I feel anxious and down I tune into your channel and I find it very real, distracting and soothing. Just like having a good friend in my living room. People can switch off if they don’t like your content. It’s a tricky one because once you open your doors to social media negativity is part and parcel and sadly won’t ever change. Your reaction to it is the key to your success and clearly you are very successful!!! Take the highs with the lows hard as they are. Depression and anxiety is something I’m living with. We all have our life stuff to deal with and things affect each one of us in different ways. Key board warriors are so out of touch with kindness and understanding. Take care and keep being you ❤
February blues…. So many people left right and centre are feeling the same way. Never listen to the negative people… they are just jealous and sad themselves Maddie. They are in the minority. We, your TH-cam friends love you and your sweet gentle Cornish ways!
My darling, you are beautiful inside and out. The evil insecurity, something we battle for a lifetime, I'm 51, I wish I could say it gets better, but what improves with age is your ability to recognize it and your strength to pull yourself out of it. So keep fighting the good fight for your soul against insecurity and taking care of your mental health, it's worth it, you are worth it. xo Erin in Holland Michigan
@@MadeleineOlivia you're very welcome. Also, I'm completely in love with your cook book. I chose it from Waterstones as a Christmas present. I'm in love with it. Congratulations on my favourite ever cook book xxx
I’m sorry Maddie that you’ve been going through mental health struggles I know you said sometimes it feels like you’re not filming fun things but I can assure you I for one, and I can imagine so many of us, absolutely love relaxing out to your videos no matter what they are! We’re here for you! Please don’t feel pressured to have to make a certain type of vlog when we still love everything else you put out 🫶🏼
I had such a hectic week and am catching up on your vids while i do some handsewing and I just enjoy "your" company here, you are such a comforting person and this is all i need right now. Thank you for being honest with your mental health, i can totally feel you there
Maddy as someone who has suffered from extreme anxiety (battling it for most of my life including phobias) the way I’ve healed the anxiety is too identify the traumas that caused it. I also know that only those who have personally suffered anxiety can understand. There is no simple ‘one thing’ or fix that can get rid of anxiety. In regards to diet one thing that helped me was to eat a mostly whole food plant based diet. Other things were being in nature, reading and doing things I love. Sending hugs, love and healing ❤I enjoy your recipes and vlogs and I’m sure many other people do too 😊my bet is you get bucket loads of great comments 😊
Don't feel pressured to keep up with all these new platforms and the madness that is the internet... I feel like it's so important for there to be a variety of content for different types of people with different sensibilities. Your theme of the year was 'slow'... I think the internet is just over saturated with people trying to reinvent the wheel and churn out fast trendy content that often (to me) feels toxic and fake. You are honestly a breath of fresh air, real, honest SLOW content that makes me (and LOADS of other people) feel good. Don't doubt your intuition, we are 100% here for it and what you have to offer. It really means a lot for you to be honest and 'real' online when so many others are not. Sending love and gratitude!💖
Always appreciate and enjoy your content Maddie❤, for me you hit the nail on the head, I just like watching nice people, doesn’t always matter what they are doing, just enjoy them x
You said it best, we just like you as a person and whatever you are doing is good enough. Thanks for including us in your life. You can be happy or sad or whatever, we know that whatever you are currently feeling is genuine and has a good heart. Slowly catching up 🤣
In a way the vlogs are boring, but that's honestly why I like them. They remind me that my own boring life is completely normal and there is so much beauty to be found in the mundane.
Anxiety is a truly horrific feeling ❤ I can’t even begin to describe how it feels to live in constant worry the physical uneasy feelings and racing negative thoughts and feeling empty inside, it is truly EXHAUSTING! most of us watch you because we relate and we feel less alone because it can be a very lonely illness as only you’re feeling it. ! It is an illnes and unless you’ve gone through it yourself you do not/can not understand it!! xx ❤
I’ve been a silent follower for quite some time but I have to say I love these vlogs! It poured all day and I stayed in and did chores and I have your videos going and it felt like I was just listening to a friend. Also, I do appreciate how you bring up mental health - a lot of us, myself included, can sometimes just make assumptions that TH-camrs live idyllic lives but you’re just like the rest of us! Hope you’re doing okay. I also agree about the point with shopping at natural/local stores - I’ve started shopping at the farm market and bakery instead of a department store and I find it a much better deal for higher quality goods. Also, you end up shopping with intention instead of throwing a sneaky bag of chocolates into your cart (which is just as fine as well!)
It’s hard sharing these things online, I can completely relate in that sense and also worry about oversharing, yet I know it helps people who feel the same. Just know there are lots of people, myself included, who don’t judge you and gain comfort from not feeling alone ♥️
If someone has been lucky enough to have never had depression, anxiety, or any other mental health problem, then they can never understand how it feels. I salute anyone who has gone through it or is currently going through it. Just know that you won't feel like this forever, just take it one day at a time and just know that there will come a day when you will feel happier and more motivated in life. Just don't give up ... keep going!
I seriously appreciate your dedication to keeping it real so much. We all talk about the highlight real that is social media, but most people complaining about it still play the game. People online who are willing to let the pieces we hide of ourselves be seen are the people who will change it. Anyone who trolls you for it is lying to themselves about their own life and about the fact that we all have different battles. I have always struggled with my mental health, and I know from personal experience how wildly important it is to normalize discussing it.
This really resonates with me. I have suffered with health anxiety for years, triggered by a long term health diagnosis. It's a constant battle, and it's ever changing in how it gets me. I totally understand how you must feel. Additionally I've just started posting on my TH-cam, I'm hoping it will be cathartic and give me focus. I really enjoy your content, I'm 52 but find you both inspiring and humble. Congratulations on your book too 😁
I’m a bit late to this but just wanted to say thank you for talking about your mental health. It makes me feel less alone. I find watching your vlogs very calming. Not boring. Thank you 😘
I used to think I had anxiety, turns out I'm AuDHD which makes so much sense now. I'm also a lot kinder to myself as I now know why things can feel hard at times. Also, seasonal affective disorder is real, the sun really makes a difference. These may not be relevant to you, but thought if mention just in case x
thank you. i actually like the fact you aren't showing more renovations. that's more relatable to so many as i became accostomed to feel the norm is to be able to fund the whole house renovations one after another!
I rarely comment but just wanted to say, you are one of the only TH-camrs I consistently watch and love your vlogs! Every time one pops up I settle in to watch, I find your vlogs so soothing and like catching up with a friend ❤
Thanks for talking about your mental health. I'm 36 and like you I suffer with anxiety. I had a really low few days last weekend too and I felt so so so depressed it was awful x
Not here for fun and exciting, here for real life. The quiet, lovely everyday moments are soothing. Im housebound and i find your vlogs connecting and calming. Just be you Maddie 💛
Your such a breath of fresh air. As a fellow woman who also has mental health difficulties I understand where you're coming from. Thank you for sharing. Cindy from New York.
My cake frosting tips: Slice each layers in half and put a thin layer of frosting in-between. For the jam in the center layer- pipe a thick ring of frosting around the outer edge and fill with jam inside. This keeps it from spilling out!
Maddie, your long-time viewers follow because they like you (and Alex & his quiet ways). Now that I'm older life is about enjoying your life.... when I lived in California, it was always about daily accomplishments, how much money one made, and comparing my life to others. I now live in the northwest, am widowed and retired, and have slowed down so much! Our weather is like the UK....the winter months REALLY affect me as I was always a sun person. I love having my time now to do whatever I want and whenever I want without a schedule. Slow times are for reflection and learning to breathe slowly if worrying or anxious about something ... you're doing a great job with your vlog!
So proud of you for openly talking about your mental health! Thank you for doing that❤let everybody else talk and if you need time, take it, we will be waiting for you!
I literally love you as a person and your videos always give me the warm tissues feeling If you know what I mean.😍 Also absolutely you spend your money how you want, and ignore the haters, they're dealing with their own demons. Great video 🤗🤗
It's so hard not to take other's negative comments to heart, but I appreciate your willingness to share glimpses of your life, including both the ups and downs. You're extremely relatable! On a completely unrelated note, do you have a favorite store for lighting options found throughout the UK?
Thank you for sharing your mental health struggles, I’ve not had the best time recently and hearing you open up and know I am not alone is really heartening so thank you. Also you are definitely not boring! I always enjoy watching your vlogs and I’ve watched your videos for a long time now, even if it is just your normal day it is nice to feel like I have your company. Everyone’s lives are different so I actually find seeing people’s everyday interesting. Also enjoying seeing the vlog over multiple days/ a week ☺️
Mad, you could peel a entire sack of potatoes and I would gladly watch because you would make it so peaceful and lovely with all of your grace and your inspiring and just purely authentic words. We truly love you out here and those who have negative comments don't need to be here, but remember you have an entire TH-cam family out here that loves you very much just as you are❤❤❤❤❤ my now 16 year old daughter and I have been watching you for years, she's growing up with your calm and truly authentic and raw self. She has Grace and confidence and when she needs it she knows when she has to stop and put herself first physically and mentally. Just know that's not just from us as parents it's also every new video you post as well as us just sitting together on cozy days and having you play in the background. You're like her big sister and all of our friends out here 💓 thank you so much for everything that you do.
Don't listen to those small in numbers people..look for the biger numbers that love you.. Don't waste your energy to them..we need for your vlogs 😊 stay blessed
I love how honest you are and how regular. I love knowing how life really is. Plus your doing so good!

Maddie, I love your renovation videos but do it at your own pace. I love watching your cooking and your chatting away too. Don’t forget to enjoy your life 😘
Your vlogs are my comfort zone. Even you dont do anything exciting. You give me that lovely hug within your content and thats all that matters. Loves loves and hugs from Turkey.
I'm a new subscriber from vlogmas & have gone back to watch your older vlogs - I find them really soothing. I don't need much to happen in a vlog - I just like seeing people's day to day lives.
It feels so good to watch someone live their life, not just showing the greatest moments. I love your videos just as much or even more than I used to 5-6 years ago. ❤️
What I like most about your channel is you are so real and I relate so much to you. Totally understand re bad days. I don’t get depression but have anxiety. I am a perfectionist and that puts so much pressure on you. What I’ve learnt is to not feel bad about those days I’m not myself, I use those as self care days - read, listen to music, go out in nature with my camera and know it will pass, it always does. Then I normally get back on track. So many of us love your channel and everything you are about so please don’t worry ❤
Simply Vegan Baking by Freya Cox is great! Love all of your content, renovation, cooking, mental health chats and all. Thank you for being you! And happy belated birthday to Alex ❤
I've always loved vlogs where people just show their day to day. Just the simple things in life. It's so calming to me. And your videos are beautifully shot and edited. Love watching/listening while I get ready for bed. Keep up the good work ❤
I absolutely love your channel. You are so insightful and I really enjoy listening to your outlook on things, your honesty is so refreshing. It is exactly like you said, you like to watch people because they seem like a really good person - and that’s what you give to your audience. Also, my favourite vlogs are the ones with the glimpses of slow living. There is something really comforting about seeing pieces of daily life and relating to it! Please don’t feel you need to change because it’s your genuine nature that people subscribe to 😊
Don’t let any one tell you how you feel I am 71 lady had this since I been in my early twenty’s and had a good family who did not judge me and my friends as one of them had similar problems to myself it helps to talk and ingnore peoples or persons that no not about how you feel take care and keep well 🐝❤️🐝😊
Belated birthday wishes to Alex🎉. Thank you for your frank talking about your mental health. We all go through tough times occasionally. Talking about those difficulties helps you as well as those of us who can empathise. ❤ Christine
I love that you are so open about your mental health. It makes you more relatable. There are too many people being fake on social media, but it's not helpful for anyone. Take no notice of the trolls, some people can't help themselves by judging others to try and make themselves feel more superior - which is pretty sad really. I'm sure I'm not the only one who loves your authenticity, warmth and your amazing creativity ❤
Your so lucky, we've stayed on the Penrose estate quite a few times through the years, it's absolutely beautiful! I love your channel I much prefer down to earth people that I can relate to. Keep doing what your doing!! 😍
Madelein you are perfect just the way you are. Love Roxy, Alex and your cosy house. Stay true to yourself. Greetings from an old lady from South Africa
When I'm struggling to wind down before bed or I'm feeling really worried about stuff, I pop on one of your recipe videos and it's like ASMR. It calms me down, takes my mind off my worries and gives me a moment of peace. Thank you for that x
Love these videos. When I am feeling low, I watch your renovation videos and vlogmas videos. I just don't think that you know how much you help people. Thank you.
You are so sweet and real, don't let anyone make you feel bad for being honest!!! Your videos makes me feel relaxed and motivated att the same time, also like it's okay to not always be productive and take som time for myself. Keep doing what you're doing, I love it!
I can't thank you enough for always sharing your anxiety issues and the struggles that you have. So many people can relate to you and your honesty about life and that things aren't always beautiful and perfect. Just keep doing what you're doing and don't listen to the hurtful people! You have so many kindred spirits that love you and enjoy just watching your daily life! You inspire so many people! You helped me through some difficult times recently! You actually made me realize that health anxiety is a real thing and I have it! So now I can come to terms and try to deal with it! And your recipes have helped me and my husband improve our health by adding vegan recipes to our lifestyle and they taste amazing and you make it very easy to do! ❤
For years now you have been an inspiration in my quest for healthy eating and vegan recipes. Your enthusiasm about cooking is contagious. Please stay the way you are and know that we all love you very much. This is your space and you are free to do and say whatever you want on here. Whoever feels the need to bring you down should just f&%$ off! Greetings from Amsterdam.
28:41 THIS!!! I watch you because I like you! You could be doing the most boring thing but it would still be cozy and lovely simply because you are that kind of person.
Your videos are delightful, keep doing what you are doing 💕 dismiss all negative comments, they are not benificial to anyone... suggestions about your content or ideas should always be made in a positive manner. You put out great thoughtful content & that takes a lot of effort... thank you💗
Sharing your life puts you in such a vulnerable place, and to be a TH-camr with any kind of following AND a woman AND vegan AND sharing mental health struggles, etc., considering all the trolls those things draw in especially as your audience and reach grows, you have to have an incredible amount of strength to keep going. I enjoy watching your content, it's soothing and gives me ideas for cooking, things I want to do in my own home and garden, etc. Even if they're not the same things you're doing, it's helpful to see someone sharing their approach to and thinking around things. I hope that if burnout is creeping at the edges, you can find the spark and joy in all of this. And I know that you see that for every troll making nonsense comments, there are so many more of us who are glad you're here and doing what you're doing, sharing what you choose to share, etc. It doesn't make dealing with the trolls any easier, but I just want to affirm that. Just a thought that I'm sure you've had yourself, I wonder how complicated it would be to have someone else read your comments for a while and only pass on the ones that are worth reading and responding to, and having someone else post them as you? When I was moderating a growing community I had founded a few years ago, once it grew into the tens of thousands I had to hand over the moderation to someone else for a while because some people started getting nasty about the smallest perceived issues. It got to be too much. And it was not as bad when it was awful people who were just intentionally trolling, they were easy to dismiss. It was actually so much harder when it was people who appeared to be there for the right reasons, but just had to nitpick about every slight thing that they blew up into major issues, and couldn't see that they weren't actually helping. Anyway, just saying, on a much smaller scale I get how the comments can get you down, and it's not as easy as saying "just ignore them." Because yeah that'd be great but it's not always possible when you already struggle with anxiety and depression (which I also understand intimately). Outsourcing reading the comments for a while might be something to think about. Sorry about the essay length response 😆
I really appreciate you being honest about your mental health. I'm someone that cooks from scratch, enjoys baking, being a stay at home mom to my daughter, and yet I struggle with depression, I have all my life. I've been on medication for it but trying to get off to try to find balance again without meds. I had been vegan for 5 years and it didn't change my mental health either direction. I eat mostly plant based now, but I don't think diet really has anything to do with my mental health as far as my anxiety and depression. My father has been on antidepressants for a big part of his life, it's just something we don't have control over sometimes. I really love your long videos/vlogs, it makes me feel like I get to hang out with a friend during my day (which is great when I'm home alone with a 3 year old all day lol) 🩷
I think a lot of us really enjoy your food content so no worries about the lack of renovations!! In fact, I think a good percentage of us came to your channel through your foodie videos. I don’t think any of us would mind if there was more of it 🥰
I look at YT video content by creators as a glimpse of what they feel most comfortable to share--baking, cooking, leisure, family, or things they are going through at the moment. I think it takes a special kind of talent --esp. nowadays, to share a part of yourself all the while being judged, no doubt, by someone somewhere. There are so many that love your content--that are here for you no matter what you choose to share. Your people will show up to watch your videos because they love listening to you and seeing bits of your life. So, you keep making whatever kind of videos you want and whenever you want because that is what makes you happy and what you need and we'll be here for it because we adore you. xoxo
Thank you for being open about your mental health. Aside from the lovely lifestyle content you share, sharing your mental health challenges normalizes it so others feel less alone. It helps people like me to see that it’s okay to not be okay all the time. Thank you.
The best thing to do is talk about... it!! When the weather is warmer i feel. Mentally so much better. Working in the yard is a stress relivever. Be happy and all the best to you.
Thank you Madeleine, well said! You have hit this subject right on the nail. I too, suffer with episodes of anxiety and depression. Sometimes so severe that I just don't feel like I can face people or even function with my own self care. Yes, there are triggers that life can throw at you. Sometimes it seems that there is no rhyme or reason. Is it our fault, is there any blame? I'm not sure, I don't think that these are helpful questions in the moment. Just be and be kind, be gentle upon ourselves and others. You are and that is what I love about your vlog.
Madeleine, you are a goddesh!! I'm Spanish, I try to be vegan, as much as I can. I love listening to your beautiful cornish accent everytime I can, all the interesting things you tell us. I met your channel in 2017. Thanks for vlogging and sharing a bit of your life with us. Keep thriving and making the world a bit better with your habits, there are very educational. Come to Spain and get some sunshine, the spirit goes low in the winter days. Love you darling, take care please. Best wishes to you and your family!!
Thank you for being so real, open and honest. Personally i really appreciate that and would much rather watch videos that are honest than polished and unreal. Also thanks for bravely talking about your mental health. You are not alone! And also i want to say i actually love watching the normal 'boring' everyday life stuff! Honestly, it's great and i really enjoy. So thanks and keep going! 💞
I have been subscribed and watching you for years. I have loved to watch the evolution of your channel! Your videos are my go to every morning to help me get out of bed. Thank you for always showing up and being honest. We love and appreciate you! :)
Maddie, you are lovely...your life is sweet and inspiring. Wherever you are emotionally, you take care of yourself...whatever bits of you that you share with us, makes our Iives richer....you are precious...(air hug).❤
Aw Maddy 🥹. Thank you for saying these things about mental health, it’s so true. I had someone tell me my PTSD from birth trauma was because I’m veggie and didn’t eat red meat. 🤪 I have no words. The whole thing about trauma and anxiety and depression is something outside of our control ❤! I also 100% never sugarcoat or pretend to be someone I’m not - I literally can’t 😂 which is why I think we got on so well when we met ❤
I appreciate the honesty around mental health and your lifestyle. Its fine when you cant do things or you do cheat meals everyone does it so its relatable.
I have so much respect for you because in other peoples eyes you can’t get anything right! How do you do it! 😆 if anything I love watching your ‘boring’ vlogs more, watching a normal life with ups and downs is very wholesome compared to all of the other stuff on social media these days. Your chats about mental health really helped me through my own hardships, don’t let anyone tell you otherwise!! A big thing I learned when I went through a bit of an existential anxiety/depression was that you sometimes have to go through this to learn something, it’s not always easy but feeling the pain is much better than forcing it down - you have to break down to rebuild! I also learned that hormones played a huge role for me, there are barely any studies on female anatomy and mental health that we unfortunately have to figure a lot of it out on our own 😆 all the best! 🧡🧡
I love your videos Maddie - just keep doing what you do 💕I have sat down, after a day at work, with a blanket and a cup of coffee and watched your VLOG. Its just like connecting with someone you know and its so relaxing. I'm sorry you've not been feeling great - don't ever feel you need to apologise for talking about your mental health - its all part of the human experience isn't it so nobody should be made to feel uncomfortable for sharing. Just on a sidenote - I made your sweetcorn and courgette fritters last night and had the leftovers for lunch - they are delicious 🤩
Thank you so much! Can’t wait for that sunshine ☀️
Dear Maddie, I know this video is a few months old now but it came up on my feed today at just the right time! Thank you for such a beautiful thoughtful comment. It really meant a lot to me to read and I agree with everything you’ve said. This helps me so much with my creating when I receive such wonderful feedback like this ❤
Madeline - I’m 24, not vegan, and live in the United States. I’ve been watching your videos and enjoying cooking your meals at home for the past 5 years :)

“I just like watching them cuz I like them.” Exactly 🥰. Just keep being you because it’s wonderful!
It really is that simple isn’t it!

So keep fighting the good fight for your soul against insecurity and taking care of your mental health, it's worth it, you are worth it. xo Erin in Holland Michigan
You're a human being sweetheart, you're never boring, I think you're amazing and I'd like to give you a massive hug xxxx
Thank you Christina! ❤️
@@MadeleineOlivia you're very welcome. Also, I'm completely in love with your cook book. I chose it from Waterstones as a Christmas present. I'm in love with it. Congratulations on my favourite ever cook book xxx
I’m sorry Maddie that you’ve been going through mental health struggles
I know you said sometimes it feels like you’re not filming fun things but I can assure you I for one, and I can imagine so many of us, absolutely love relaxing out to your videos no matter what they are!
I completely agree with this
Anxiety is a truly horrific feeling ❤ I can’t even begin to describe how it feels to live in constant worry the physical uneasy feelings and racing negative thoughts and feeling empty inside, it is truly EXHAUSTING! most of us watch you because we relate and we feel less alone because it can be a very lonely illness as only you’re feeling it.
Maddy you can never have too much buttercream ❤
I love your back patio! It’s beautiful!!!
It’s hard sharing these things online, I can completely relate in that sense and also worry about oversharing, yet I know it helps people who feel the same. Just know there are lots of people, myself included, who don’t judge you and gain comfort from not feeling alone ♥️
Love your day-to-day vlogs. There will always be negative people. Try not to waste your energy on them. Love your cooking, home and gardens!🌻🌞
Just don't give up ... keep going!
Being truthful makes you more relatable, being yourself is why we enjoy our time with you ❤
Thank you for saying this ❤️
I seriously appreciate your dedication to keeping it real so much.
I get you completely❤❤❤ Don't let anyone make you feel bad, you are human. It is such a debilitating feeling, anxiety❤❤❤
Sending love from Scotland ❤
You make me feel relaxed when I watch you. Thank you ❤
Not here for fun and exciting, here for real life.
My cake frosting tips:
Slice each layers in half and put a thin layer of frosting in-between. For the jam in the center layer- pipe a thick ring of frosting around the outer edge and fill with jam inside. This keeps it from spilling out!
Enjoy your lovely home and faithful husband…..one day at a time! I enjoy your vlogs ……I live in USA and enjoy your Cornwall life!
Love the Ohio State sweater! Three grads in my family from Ohio USA.
I so enjoy every visit with you …always interesting. Keep up the great work!
❤️❤️❤️
I literally love you as a person and your videos always give me the warm tissues feeling If you know what I mean.😍 Also absolutely you spend your money how you want, and ignore the haters, they're dealing with their own demons. Great video 🤗🤗
I like watching because you show your true self. Keep up the great videos. There are always people saying negative comments, just ignore.
A weekly pub lunch sounds the ticket!
Never boring. I love all your videos. I always look forward to sitting peacefully watching your days. 🤗
Madelein you are perfect just the way you are. Love Roxy, Alex and your cosy house. Stay true to yourself. Greetings from an old lady from South Africa
Thank you so much Marietta! 🥰
When I'm struggling to wind down before bed or I'm feeling really worried about stuff, I pop on one of your recipe videos and it's like ASMR. It calms me down, takes my mind off my worries and gives me a moment of peace. Thank you for that x
And happy birthday Alex!🎂🎂🎂
Appreciate your honesty so much. As someone who also struggles mentally it can be so hard to talk about and for others to understand. It’s a journey!
Thank you for being a voice for anxious. We appreciate being heard 💛
Thank you.
I think Madeleine is a beautiful person. Having a dual diagnosis myself, I know how difficult anxiety and depression does oftentimes get.
The best thing to do is talk about... it!! When the weather is warmer i feel. Mentally so much better. Working in the yard is a stress relivever. Be happy and all the best to you.
Thank you for sharing your lovely vegan life, both the light and dark aspects. We can all relate! 💜
I'm so obsessed with the ingredient prep or 'cook like a line cook' tiktoks haha. Finding myself prepping all my veg in advance now
Thank you Madeleine, well said!
This is why I'm here! For your vlogs just the way they are x
Thank you xxx
Madeleine, you are a goddesh!! I'm Spanish, I try to be vegan, as much as I can. I love listening to your beautiful cornish accent everytime I can, all the interesting things you tell us. I met your channel in 2017. Thanks for vlogging and sharing a bit of your life with us. Keep thriving and making the world a bit better with your habits, there are very educational. Come to Spain and get some sunshine, the spirit goes low in the winter days. Love you darling, take care please. Best wishes to you and your family!!
29:12 haha Maddie I just love you 🥰
❤ I totally agree with you! I don’t care what you’re doing. I like watching you because I like you 😊
Thank you for being so real, open and honest. 💞
I love it when you’re just pottering and chatting. Works for me ❤
I have been subscribed and watching you for years. I have loved to watch the evolution of your channel! Your videos are my go to every morning to help me get out of bed. Thank you for always showing up and being honest. We love and appreciate you! :)
Alex laughing at you at 11:42 and you start laughing along is so cute 😊
Maddie, you are lovely...your life is sweet and inspiring. Wherever you are emotionally, you take care of yourself...whatever bits of you that you share with us, makes our Iives richer....you are precious...(air hug).❤
Thank you. Maddie your vlogs brighten my day and keep me company when I am feeling lonely 😊
