This was what I have been looking for. We are on the list for a pool install and was wondering how long the process would be. You also gave me what all is involved in the process of the build. I intend on doing a time lapse video of our build as well. As it stands, my wife and I are to meet with the builders today to go over some more things with our build. Thanks for you video.
Hi! Awesome pool build. Very informative and helpful. I noticed you had Pygmy palms. Are they holding up well in our weather? I’m thinking about surrounding our pool with the same. TIA!
We hope you enjoy this pool build time lapse. We had fun filming the Pool Construction Process. However it was way more fun swimming!! Thanks for watching!
Soils testing before hand. Get everything in writing, deadlines, inspections, quality control. And above all, watch out for Vegas Contractors. Always try to charge more than contracted price
I like the way you did This video very helpful for people who what to have one, like me lol. my question is. you said 12x36 is that the inside or outside top of the pool measurement.
Inside measurement. The wet deck is 6 feet so the rest of the pool is actually 12x30. Glad you liked the video. It was fun watching how it was built. Thanks for watching and commenting. If you have any other questions please feel free to ask.
Hi! Live in Italy (Sardegna) and trying to explain to local installers about the quartz spray; they look at me like I'm crazy, everyone here likes to tile the entire pool. Could you recommend a product to me to show them? Thank you!
@@UltimateTechHub Yeah. We are looking at an extra $6K or so with it. I think we may just do it after hearing your advice. Thanks and enjoy the pool. It looks great.
@@puremarble Well worth the 6k for virtually no maintenance. Still need to clean the skimmer and pool filter pump but when leaves or dirt get in the pool its gone after about an hour or 2. And its fun to watch it all work. Haha
I am in Vegas as well. We are building our new home. This is very good info to know. We are on the north side of town. Is this soil you speak of all over the Vegas valley?
Have your pool concrete deck crack by any means ? I’m starting a pool project and I like concrete better that pavers but people say eventually concrete will crack ?
Do the people that pour the concrete stamp the ground foundation before the pour and do they rebar the framing or it was a steel mech and concrete and that it ? Thanks for the response
6:01 They're not just covering the pipes with sand, they're putting sand UNDER the pipes, to reinforce them, and to separate them from the concrete that will be poured on top of them.
I think it's 6 inches. Its very shallow which is great for little kids like 1 or 2 year Olds. The bubbler is nice but the water fall is my favorite. Thank you for watching and happy swimming!
Hi there, just purchased a new build in NW Vegas. Looking forward to building a pool for myself. 2 questions: 1. How long was the entire project 2. How much more cost was added to break down your wall for equipment access? Love your backyard

@@user-kx8kl7hc9j Yes that was everything you see in the video. I did have a solar heater installed on our roof for 3000 but that was after the video. Can't wait for warmer weather. Thanks for watching and if you subscribed thank you as well.
@@UltimateTechHub awesome. Thanks. We’re looking into designs for a pool in the kissimmee area. Thanks for sharing this video, now we have some knowledge on the process. 👍
Wow you got off cheap w the caliche issue. $135/hr is wicked cheap. Ours was thousands extra for a small area of caliche. It broke the machine too. Small set back. Our neighbors entire 20x40 9ft deep pool was caliche so it took 6 days to dig.
How many times are you gonna say the word calichi? That's why I don't, and won't, live out west. I have to deal with Georgia clay, but it's not as bad as the ground you have to deal with.
@@UltimateTechHub if you have it done similar like this when you purchase a new home through the builder, it would cost you double easier. Btw excellent job & nice pool.
Its called calichi which is everywhere in Las Vegas and while filming this video I watched both machines break. They used a smaller machine for 4 hours until the first one got repaired on site. They only charged for 2 hours of calichi removal. Thanks for watching!
@@UltimateTechHub that was decent of them to eat half that cost considering those bits aren't exactly cheap... but still good for business as you no doubt given positive reviews.
You can’t have a pool in Las Vegas!!! Lol. Are you crazy??? That’s a lot of water that can’t be used for drinking or agriculture in the middle of a dessert.
@@UltimateTechHub lol. I only figured as much for you weird Vegas folk… btw I used to live out west and the only reason I left is because of the high cost of living combined with the utter lack of precipitation. Hollyweird ain’t got nuthin on Vegas folk. Lmao

I enjoyed watching this one... information was great thank you!💖💖💖 the pool!
Any issue with digging for pool equipment so close to your foundation? I’m worried about that on my upcoming project
Nope. Las Vegas soil is very hard. I wouldn't worry about the home foundation. Thank you for watching.

Thinking of a inground. I understand that concrete pools are more maintenance than vinyl liners and not a big fan of drop in pools

@@elnene92 they stamp the ground. You can watch the process near the end of the video.
Do they pressure test the plumbing pipes for leaks before they bury them?
