Hey everyone! I'm going to be trying a few different things with this channel to see if it helps us in the algorithm. One of these things is to release certain series in their entirety instead of episodically. This means that content will be less posted frequently, but there will be the same amount of it either way. As segments from the series are edited, I'll be pulling short clips from them to use as Quik Bitz videos like the "*effort noises*" one posted recently. This should be a good way to ensure that content is still posted with some frequency while you're waiting to see each entire series. Posting the full videos and then small bits of the best clips (as you seem to have been doing) looks like a good way to go. Big fan of the new thumbnails. I always thought YMS Gaming would've been better for a channel name though.
So their power is being able to recall specific memories. But their memories are conflicting, and some are just completely wrong. So their power is just regular ass memory. Is that the twist? There’s nothing special about them in any way.
That's just what I thought, their power is conveying via visions what could just as well be conveyed via dialogue. It's a non-supernatural supernatural story.
I didn’t think it needed to be explained to this game that the “misremembered” trope only works when the real event was MORE traumatic. Like why didn’t they make the real memory that the mother tried to shoot her kids, but the two remembered her getting murdered by someone else and they’re trying to solve it from the beginning. At least that’s literally anything, and makes a slight amount of sense.
This has the same writing quality of that play that the wife in bobs burgers puts on where the twist is that she was the killer even tho she said she wasn't the killer.
How do you know you've watched too much AdumPlaze? When you hear someone mid-commentary say "Get me out!" And from the pit of your soul, you let-out a fully audible "GET ME OUTTA HERE! I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING JUST GET ME OUT!"

The twins killed thier mother on cold blood in what they thought was private and now years later they've come back to tell at thier mom for being a transphobe even though they really didn't give her a chance to really do anything.
DontNod should really stop trying to make stories centered around powers, because they don't really do a good job of it. - LiS1: Max has time powers that conveniently don't work when they'd be the most useful, and gains random new additions to her power, like not moving in time despite doing so the first time or travelling through pictures - LiS2: Add in telekinetic abilities that don't do anything to enhance the core gameplay like Max's time powers do, and give it to a character you're not controlling and thus don't have direct access to - Tell Me Why: Memory powers, except they can have conflicting memories and remember things so wrong it's almost hilarious. Also they can talk to each other in their mind?
So, the true doesn't matter? You just pick a side, accept that as a true despite all the evidences that you supposed to collect the entire fucking game, and that's it? Wtf, there is no story.

Glad to finally see this series on this channel. The full playthrough was painful so I'm looking forward to seeing the whole thing condensed into 50 minutes. I'm honestly proud of Adam for managing to make it all the way through this game.

Just saw a quick full playthough of this game and 100% fully genuinely. They found a book near the startish of the game that literally showed their mother was trying to be accepting of Tyler being trans. The book was called something like "Accepting Your Transgender Child" and after finding it they 100% said "She's still finding new ways to piss us off" like what? In what world should they be mad at that? She literally wanted to be accepting
They were less mad that she had the book and more mad that after a decade of trying to deal with the trauma of believing their mom was trying to murder him they now have to question what actually happened, and since his sister stabbed her with scissors and let her drown that could open up a whole other kind of trauma if they decide that she never intended to hurt him.
I just realized, since the twins can conjure up different memories, their power isn't really remembering things. It's more the power of conjuring up their imagination, like their imagination of what happened previously. So Tyler could be like "Yo Alyson check it out, I'm a wolf boy and you're a fox girl isn't it neat?" and conjure up a "memory" their fursonas and Alyson would be forced to see everything. How neat.
The EDITING!!! Adam, I hope RasenDen (his editor) is compensated enough because this was the hardest I've laughed after "dip". Man, I love the choice to release the entire game at once too. Thanks horse boi.

Dontnod is going to go belly up right, since these games probably cost a fair bit to make and according to steam charts they only had a peak player count of 1,300 so I assume it didn't make profit and "Twin Mirror" was an epic games exclusive so it definitely sold less than "Tell Me Why"

Eh, I think there are genuine improvements. The characters no longer look nineteen layers thick with oil when they get the slightest bit wet, for one. The textures and reflections are fairly pleasant too. I think it's a sidegrade moreso than a downgrade.

I’m confused on where Tyler was. It seemed like he was sent to a residential/therapy facility as his prison sentence. If it was a private facility, they could have helped him transition. If it was run by the state, I doubt it? Either way, I don’t think he stayed in the juvenile justice system. It looked like he pled guilty and was then sent away to serve his sentence
yes, you can destroy your body before puberty. plenty of stories of people doing that. it's pretty fucked up since there's a high percentage of people who really do later regret transitioning and for some, it really is "just a phase" but i'm sure doing it before their body started naturally changing in the other direction can only make things easier from a process standpoint. of course, at that point it's up to the parents to allow it and have anything done. for example, the mom who wanted to transition her 6 year old. the story where the dad had no say whatsoever and you can easily argue the kid didn't really make the decision for himself because he was fucking 6 and never chose to act like or be called a girl when with his father.
@@MrHandss dude literally no one is saying kids should transition early, only psychopaths want that to get attention. trans people and doctors advise AGAINST transitioning when you're too young because you only develop your identity and self image later on. 14-16 is when you go on hormone therapy, which just halts puberty. If you change your mind you just stop talking it and your body just continues doing it's thing, no negative affects. Most trans people don't even get bottom surgery cause it's not good enough yet and it's too expensive. You'll usually see trans people get top surgery, which is something that can be reversed too, so what's your point...

Eh, I think there are genuine improvements. The characters no longer look nineteen layers thick with oil when they get the slightest bit wet, for one. The textures and reflections are fairly pleasant too. I think it's a sidegrade moreso than a downgrade.

First game - gay character Inevitably destroys a city
Second game - gay character steals and assaults and runs from police and causes massive property damage with their brother
Third game - gay character reads minds to manipulate people and gets her brother killed
Either they can’t write likable gay characters or they are doing this on purpose
It does seem weird a game series with mostly lgbtq main characters always portrays most of them in the most negative way.

I’m confused on where Tyler was. It seemed like he was sent to a residential/therapy facility as his prison sentence. If it was a private facility, they could have helped him transition. If it was run by the state, I doubt it? Either way, I don’t think he stayed in the juvenile justice system. It looked like he pled guilty and was then sent away to serve his sentence

yes, you can destroy your body before puberty. plenty of stories of people doing that. it's pretty fucked up since there's a high percentage of people who really do later regret transitioning and for some, it really is "just a phase" but i'm sure doing it before their body started naturally changing in the other direction can only make things easier from a process standpoint. of course, at that point it's up to the parents to allow it and have anything done. for example, the mom who wanted to transition her 6 year old. the story where the dad had no say whatsoever and you can easily argue the kid didn't really make the decision for himself because he was fucking 6 and never chose to act like or be called a girl when with his father.

@@MrHandss dude literally no one is saying kids should transition early, only psychopaths want that to get attention. trans people and doctors advise AGAINST transitioning when you're too young because you only develop your identity and self image later on. 14-16 is when you go on hormone therapy, which just halts puberty. If you change your mind you just stop talking it and your body just continues doing it's thing, no negative affects. Most trans people don't even get bottom surgery cause it's not good enough yet and it's too expensive. You'll usually see trans people get top surgery, which is something that can be reversed too, so what's your point...
