@@OutlawHue1 Gotcha, I've been having an issue with losing skin weights and binding on ungrouping-- can't seem to find any workarounds for it. Exporting to Unreal gives an error that it "failed to merge bones," even if I name the root and all the children properly.
@@corysmithereens ungrouping the mannequin from the skeleton? Not sure where the issue is, maybe my steps can help (after binding and I don't bind to the root bone): - Select folder with mannequin and rig and ungroup (options set to default) - Open bone hierarchy - Select all the bones (and IKs) - Shift select the rigged and skinned 3D model - Select export> fbx> in fbx options toggle on smoothing, animation, bind skin, and choose fbx 2013 or higher (most other options should be toggled off) - then export Do our steps align?
thank you!
