Charizard seems like the obvious choice, especially given the new promo in Japan, but I feel like it might be Ancient and Future since we had Single/Rapid Strike about a year after they came out. Probably Roaring Moon for Ancient and some sort of Iron Crown box for Future.
If Pokemon is okay with letting Iron Valiant go despite it being the literal equivalent to Roaring Moon on the future side from the video games, I’m all for Roaring Moon and Future Box as the decks.
Forest Seal Stone and Ace Specs are not the same thing. Forest Seal Stone, while awesome, is just another trainer card using the standard trainer card template. Furthermore, Forest Seal Stone in Miraidon isn’t holofoil. It’s a non-holo print specifically for that deck. They’ve done this in the past with other standard holo trainers. Ace Specs feature a whole different design template and special holo pattern similar to Radiant Pokemon. They are more closely related in the sense that these are seen as special cards in the eyes of Pokemon. Enough so that Radiant Pokemon only exist as holos and take up 1 of the 6 holofoil League Battle Deck slots. While I think it’s a toss-up whether Ace Specs appear in future decks, I’m almost certain that Pokemon would not make non-holo versions of Ace Spec cards, as that would devalue the prestige they want to set with Ace Spec cards.
Iron hands is a good one, the deck is quite costly compared to other good ones(TPC might not take that on account but it's still not that accessible in general). Charizard have good chances too, but it's already affordable after so many reprints
The affordability of Charizard these days definitely seems to skew which deck people want next. …I’m still almost certain Charizard is the next one though lol
Unfortunately, Dialga VSTAR almost certainly won’t get a League Battle Deck due to it rotating shortly after the release of the League Battle Deck. However, Iron Hands will be legal for some time and is a prime candidate for a League Battle Deck this time around.
Radiant Greninja and all “F”-block cards will be Standard legal this fall. They will be legal in PTCGL until late March 2025 and legal for in-person play until early April 2025. The problem with putting Radiant Greninja in any deck in November is that it will rotate within 5-6 months of release. These decks are meant to be sold long after the 2025 rotation, so having cards that will be expired while the product is still in store shelves for most of its life is a bad look. The minimum legality Pokemon will go for with cards in a pre-constructed deck is about 8 months. The Ice Rider deck had a bunch of cards that rotated in 8 months (all the Shady Dealings Pokemon) and even that caused a lot of anger in the community. On the other end, Gardevoir is awesome in that it is releasing right after rotation and all cards are legal for the 2024 season. You get basically a whole year without having to worry about any of the cards in there going obsolete.
I actually already made a video on those Japanese decks and talked about the likelihood of us getting a version of those here: th-cam.com/video/8p0eITQNljQ/w-d-xo.htmlsi=e2_-wf-kZmu-UY8b Charizard is very likely, but not necessarily because Japan already made a deck with it. Oftentimes their pre-constructed deck cards just get dumped into our main sets, like Obsidian Flames or Fusion Strike. I think TPCi could have ended up choosing Charizard for their own reasons, though getting the promo version of Charizard from the Japanese deck in our League Battle Deck would be sweet. As for Chien-Pao, I think the likelihood of us getting it are almost 0%. We already have a Chien-Pao ex deck, and while a Level 1 beginner deck is not the same as a level 3 League Battle Deck, there’s no precedent for Pokemon making 2 decks with the same feature Pokemon’s name on the box. Furthermore, with this next League Battle Deck coming out in November, that’s only 4-5 months before rotation. Chien-Pao is losing a ton of cards to rotation, including Radiant Greninja, Bidoof, Bibarel, PokeStop, and Irida. Since Pokemon goes out of their way to make the fall build safe from the upcoming rotation, Chien-Pao is unlikely to get picked because it will lose too many cards at rotation. The only way around that is if a whole new way to play Chien-Pao emerges this year that doesn’t use those key cards, but I wouldn’t hold my breath for that.
@@InThirdPerson Of course you do! I promise that I watched this video to the end before commenting. lol. I see your point. Chien Pao seems too reliant on older cards. I guess we'll see.
As I mentioned in the video, no F-block cards will appear in the next League Battle Deck, as it releases too close to rotation. Even if the next League Battle Deck is Charizard ex, Radiant Charizard won’t be there because it rotates too soon after release.

That seems likely, they usually do the new gimmick.

Yea
@@InThirdPersonok That's pretty cool
I think Iron Hands and Roaring Moon
That would be nice
Charizard ex. 3 zards, 2 pidgeot and ace spec
My preferred configuration!
What is the next card included in the Trainer's Toolbox this year?
I have no idea what it is. My guess would be Squawkabilly ex or Mew ex, but Ace Specs would be incredibly cool.
It was kinda crazy to play and out of the box getting the basics out was a bit hard I thought
I think ace spec cards don't necessarily occupy one of the holofoil cards, just as the forest seal stone in miraidon ex

I Hope Dialga Vstar gets a league battle deck as he needs one to go with Palkia!!!!!
Oh and Iron Hands EX needs one!!!!!!!!1

So is radiant graninja not gonna be useful in the fall?
Sorry I'm new to the game so I'm trying to understand

GOTCHA UNDERSTOOOD THANK YOU SO MUCH I BOUGHT THE GARDEVOIR DECK AND PLAYING FLMY FIRST MATCH THIS WEEKEND!!! THANK YOU FOR THE CONTENT!!
Congrats on the new deck! It's a bit tricky to learn, but with practice, you can beat almost anything with a Gardevoir deck.
I think it will be iron hands with iron crown
Pokebeach has an article about Japanese Charizard and Chien Pao decks. English will probably follow..

Good point so ace spec does make the most sense
Maybe they could do mew because of the infernal reign ability
On the charizard and the restart ability on the mew
Yo, first
