This looked interesting. Definitely emulating a lot of souls mechanics while giving it its own spin. The jump seemed a bit floaty in the beginning, but then they gave you the double jump and it made sense why it was like that. I'll keep an eye out for this one.
Unique? I don't know about that. Anything about it says just another garbage. They keep making them, sales are shit but somehow these games keep apearing.
Just played the demo myself a bit and I have to say overall a nice setting and gameplay. Only the button configuration for the controller was a bit weird.
Hmm. My tentative suspicion is that Enki is responsible for the original breach that led The Dead into the world above. Possibly unintentionally as a result of trying to fight Ulu himself, possibly intentionally because he *knew* that the humans would have to break the barrier all the way eventually and he'd be able to rope them into fighting his battles for him. The fact using him in combat is a gameplay feature in which you can invest points makes me think he probably won't fully betray you, though.
>soulslikes >no stamina bar i mean i get it the last souls game where stamina really mattered was ds2 but these days we are really stretching the definition of "soulslike". anyway i think the game looks cool.
Its better to see honest opinions, rather than direct conclusion. By the end; it's feels like linear places than open world, like "God of War". Its clear why "Soul-like" consider as your experience upgrade, or often use as health regeneration (like Hollow Knight). However, the mechanic has advantage of skill combat

Cool characters and setting. Looks like it runs well too. Very smooth.
Reminds me of that game greedfall
This game has a unique aesthetic

Oh sweet, it's like a fusion of gunpowder fantasy and the Norse God of War games. I already like the protagonists, setting and gameplay, too

That's why they are calling it "Souls-Lite".
Is that Adam Jensen's VA?
I thought that too! I can't quite tell, I've never heard him do an accent.
I thought so too and went googling. Yes, it is him!
@@teddycheddar1114 he never asked for doing an accent
@@AR-yd2nd this reference will seriously always make me laugh.
When you get hit your reputation goes into your reputation pot, you don't lose it.
You only use the multiplier rep when hit the basic rep gets banked which I think is cool
