This is a early showcase of the native PSPlay port for Windows 10/ 11. More information: / hot Disclaimer: PS5 and Rog Ally were both connected via a 5GHz WiFi which is not ideal.
Development is underway for both a Windows version and a Linux port of PSPlay. It is not yet available and I currently need no testers. News about its release will be published on the PSPlay subreddit here www.reddit.com/r/PSPlay/hot/
Would this work with a Bluetooth gamepad? Like I'd have my PS5 running in the bedroom, then my ROG Ally running in the living room connected to a PS5 controller via BT (DS4Windows). Trying to come up with a way to stream PS5 console output to the living room TV using a docked Ally and transmitting gamepad signals through it.
I definitely want to buy this app and use it for my quest 3. Remote play on quest 3 has a very slight lag so this app would certainly be better. although im not sure how to get the app onto the quest since it doesnt have an officiall google play store. Any thoughts?
@@fgpr999 heck yeah!! I can't wait! Excellent work. Looking forward to it. In the mean time I'll see if I can somehow get Google play store working on quest. Might have to use a new email for Google just to be safe.
@@fgpr999 what would an estimated time frame be? I'm betting on ps play for my remote play needs lol. I Dialed down my PS5 HDMI settings And set to 1080p Max output as well as disconnected the HDMI and I did the 2nd psn account controller method/trick to use my controller directly to the PS5 to minimize input lag as much as possible also I have fairly fast Internet 300mb and a gaming router and remote play app works well with this set up. However for comparison, It still not as good as say a HDMI capture card but that route is too expensive as a proper capture card cost $200 And would need to be able to charge the quest 3 at the same time, not to mention having to pay for the USB camera app to receive the video capture signal. I do have a cheap 1080p capture card and Input lag is near zero with the free USB camera app but I think ps play will be much more luxurious. I'd don't want a bunch of wires and adapters hanging from my headset lol. Anyways just giving some context to my situation and goals and greatly looking forward to paying and downloading that APK and license key directly from your site. The quest world will likely have a blast with psplay.
Hi im getting this message “your playstation could not be reach via internet. It seems that the network you are currently connected with is not allowing s connection to your playstation”. I kept getting this message when I tried to connect it with mobile data or wifi outside the home. It worked flawlessly using local connect or remote connect only via the home network. Please help so I could play remotely outside the home network. Thanks.
Can you remote connect to your ps5 if your ps5 at home is connected to the internet via Ethernet and you’re outside with your rog ally using your 5G mobile data hotspot? It’s not working for me for some reason.
Hello guys I hope you are well. I am writing to you as a long-time user of the pspad application. I have enjoyed using it on the PS4 for many years, but I have encountered some issues on the PS5. I have noticed that the control is sluggish and the joystick response is delayed, especially in PS5 games. This affects my gaming experience. Do you have any solution for this problem? I appreciate your help and support. Note : I use the touch screen to play because of my disability and play on huawei met20 pro
Hi, in regards to the protocol and implantation there is absolutely no difference between PS5 and PS4. It's the same code, only the connection handshake is different. Be sure your PS5 is connected via Ethernet or at least to a 5GHz WiFi
Not yet, I'm building a native PSPlay version since last year for Linux and Windows. I guess the first release version is not too far of but no ETA. News will be published on the PSPlay subreddit.
@@fgpr999 i've done it and it works, but if i touch the screen or the start button it reverse back on the original controllers and nothing works right. After this i must reload the app and re switch to gamepad mode
For any M1 or better Mac you can use the iOS/iPad version of MirrorPlay. That’s the Apple version of PSPLAY. Maybe dev can optimize that also for Mac but it’s already running great
That's not an app problem, it works flawlessly on all my Android 13 devices and for the majority of users as well. I don't see any room for improvement at the moment.

Definitely getting for my ROG Ally. I have on my phones already
Will you be doing the xbplay on windows as well? And definitely buying this today for my rog ally!! Great stuff.
Maybe yes, no concrete plans so far though :)

Good! I have something that remote plays on rog but its so bad. Constant screen tears etc.
Chiaki4deck is almost flawless for me on my rog ally. The normal chiaki had sound issues and weird stuttering
awesome, can't wait! actually I use it in my phone android galaxy S23+ and works perfect, thanks!!

May I ask if controller sound effects are supported on Windows?
Use DualSense Controller On Windows
@@wangshutom5309 you have haptic feedback and all controller features BUT there will be no sound played on your DualSense controller.
@@fgpr999 That's really a pity. If there were, it would be perfect😢
Thankyou for releasing for ally. Loving it so far

how do you remap the buttons for the gamepad? I can't use it because it won't let me map the gamepad buttons
Button mapping is not yet supported but the standard buttons will just work. If you are on the Rog Ally disable steam input and switch to gamepad mode
this is so gooooood
Hello, can you please help me solve the problem with the picture being crumbly?
Did you try to increase the resolution in the streaming settings and are you connected to a 5GHz WiFi? Be sure no VPN or ad blocking apps are active.
Just a question, why 5ghz wifi is not ideal??
I mean, the 5ghz is not ideal or the fact that the ps5 is using wifi?
Ideal would be if the PS5 is connected via LAN. If that's not possible a 5GHz WiFi should of course work as well
@@fgpr999 Thank you!!
Omg I need this! When is it going to be available?
In a few days will be the official release. Checkout the PSPlay subreddit, I will post some news there soon
This is a windows app you're working on, right? Not exclusive to the rog ally - would work on any windows PC?
Yes, it will work on any Windows 10/ Windows 11 x64 bit version not just the Ally
@@fgpr999 brilliant. I already use the app on android and it's amazing. Looking forward to the windows version.
@@Danebrass12 checkout the PSPlay subreddit, I will post some news the next couple of days ;)
Is there a way to use the app on normal Windows?
