my only problem with the U2 is just that I have a really wide thumb and I accidentally press the back side button sometimes when I flick I am working on getting a grip that keeps me from doing that in quick situations .
Just copped the OP1 8k based off your top mice of 2024 list, haven't been dissapointed so far! The GX Speed mode is a bit glitchy on some games but I'm hoping it can be fixed in a software update. Keep up the great content! Info is really helpful.
i can't believe i bought this mouse, but i gave in to the peer pressure and now its my main 😂 i had issues with everything including having to switch USB port to one of these red ones and installing firmware in safemode, which i also only found because a nice reviewer pointed out to me that there's a beta version on their discord. the firmware fixed everything though. have been running it on 8k in aimtrainers and cs2 without issues at max DPI. the only gripe I have is the glue on the stock skates. it's such a pain yo remove. took me almost 10 minutes 😂
As a Artisan Kou fan, I've never gotten why the Hien is so much more popular, especially because I personally dislike the extremely textured surface vs the Kous very smooth. Turning the kou sideways is like having a smooth-control hien.
the best skates i have tried with the hien soft are the jade donut skates. they pick up a lot more texture than dots without a major speed difference and the larger surface area feels a lot better for soft/xsoft pads
I agree with your u2 take. Also, any plans to review hts+8k? Not huge changes from the 4k but they have def improved on QC and click feel since your 4k review.
Boardzy the GOAT of mouse reviews. Im still watching his videos even though i now consider myself to have the perfect mouse and mouse pad... Dude is just too good at reviews. He could review literal turds and I'd probably still watch his videos. "Oh the chunk to slide ratio in on par with the previous gen dinner nugget? oh yeah fair enough Boardzy"
Went to the WL Mouse website today and saw they have a totally new mouse coming July 30th. Looks kind of sick. (Literally JUST got my 8k beast x in the mail this morning too 😵).
Hey, could you make a mousepad review where you take your favorite pads and put them in a bar where one side is very control and the other is very speedy? That way it shows the speed and your favorites. Different type of vid idea maybe.
Ngl I do feel the latency on the zowie mice... I switched from Superlight 2/DAV3 with 4k/8k polling and knew right away that I could not deal with the click latency on the Zowie... (I play CS)
Boardzy have you tried the Corsair MM200 PRO Thick Mousemat? Its a coated control pad - People are gonna say its the slowest mousepad ever, IDK my variant is not that slow; It's plays like a slightly faster and smoother Qck Heavy. Its $35CAD on Amazon, always available and ships next day. I actually got one with damaged packaging for $18CAD... I lowkey love this mat as a budget option and am dying to hear your thoughts on it man haha
Was using Zowie S1-C then was curious for U series, though not paying double because it's wireless. Got Vaxee XE wired for half the price and bundle. Lower button height really feels better for claw-ftip hybrid grip. Only thing I wish for XE is that I could disable front LED and being separate shell buttons with same switches, feel a bit lighter, especially resting on right switch. Curious to see new Artisan pads.
Lethal Gaming Gear Jupiter Pro could be a interesting mousepad. Not to many slow/control pads these days. Not out yet i think but yeah. On the topic of the mice. Iam still waiting for a wireless Zowie ZA11 mouse
Is there any mouse recommendations for small hands? 17 x 9.5cm. I was looking into the razer deathadder v3 hyperspeed or pulsar xlite v3 mini. Doesnt matter if its ambi or ergo any recommendations would help. Thanks for the videos boardzy
You still hate glass skates right? You seem to be just pure corepad on your mice. I put superglide v2s on everything and really enjoy it and the glide stays consistent for me so it would feel weird going back to regular skates and I did have terrible corepad experiences years ago but maybe you're gonna peer pressure me.
Where that HTR hanging around? Don't blame you for not maining a crazy shape like that. Just curious cuz I pre ordered the HTR Pro coming from the HSK Pro as my main
Dude zowie u2 is my favorite. I ended up giving my friend my viper v3 pro and I don’t even touch my ulx cheetah. I love the shape so much on u2 works nice with my main game (Fortnite)
I don't know, but my dumbass hand rejects any shape I tried; G102, Viper, Viper Mini, ZA13-B, Burst Pro, MM711, they all have some quirks but the one that was CONSISTENT across all of them is the front width- I NEED to have my ring finger on the side of the mouse for horizontal swiping stability, because if it's on the top of the mouse it's just my thumb and pinky doing the swiping. The only two mice that have ever properly fitted me in that regard was the Kone Pure Ultra, and the Prime Mini, which has been my go to for the last few years. I yearn for something Prime Mini esque, maybe a bit longer but mainly better built because fuck me, SteelSeries still struggles with that.
What color would you recommend getting with the M64 ultra? I remember you saying the coating varied at one time. Also do you also know whether newer units will have different coatings or not?
why is so hard find those top tier mousepad? like they doesnt made it anymore? why is so hard fin a store in the usa? the only way is bying frome japan?
Yo Boardzy can u try the rapoo vt9pro 4k wireless and 8k wired I found it in Amazon for $45 cad, also I'm wondering to get it or not but I can't find good videos bout it
Yeah I got it and it suck the grip is bad even with the grip take n the dpi is messed up when I click the mouse it doesn't work so I have to press it hard. It's a bad mouse

AC pro mid was nice for when artisan refused to make 500x500, but a fresh hien soft just feels slightly better to me than ac pro, so I use it. X/Y difference isn't really a negative of the hien either imo

i bought 2 gpx2, one was bought when it a week after came out and the clicks on that unit sucks, too rough and too loud and on the other unit which i bought last month, clicks are night and day.. they dont even feel firm and tactile and its just feels 10 times better than the older one..
why not prefer mice with absolute lower weight? If you find one with a decent and compatible enough shape, will you main it? I'm talking sub 45 grams (other than ULX)
The reason is because I just dont prefer them. In theory I should prefer the beastx max/ULX tiger over the U2/Vv3 pro but I don't. I guess for claw with regular sized mice I don't benefit from sub 45g that much, if an option popped up that was perfect for me I'd def potentially main it

I feel like my Hein Mid aged far better than my Hein Soft
i feel like its the closest a cloth pad can be to a hard pad (although the raiden exists too)
i fuk wit my U2 but just the fact that the click latency is slower and 1000hz polling bothers me even tho its probably almost negligible diff

because weight doesnt mean jack shit if the mouse is generally uncomfortable to use
Shape is way more important than weight. I would take a 75g mouse with a perfect shape over a 40g mouse with an okay shape.
