- Today we check out the new Cherry Xtrfy M64 and M68 Pro. The first mouse since the merger between Cherry & Xtrfy. Xtrfy previously had been recognized as a brand that would take risks when they design their mice. But has the merger stunted their creativity? Or have they been allowed to go crazy with their new mice?

I replay The logo isn't centered part about 7 times.
It happens sooo often. Hidden gem company gets hype and starts to suck.. or gets bought by other company and then starts to suck. OG Razer and Logitech were godlike products until they became extremely popular, Zowie used to be a "secret tip" for extremely high quality, longevity and best performance.. then they started sponsoring pro teams and merged with Benq.. and now Xtrfy merging with Cherry, drastically increasing prices.. So either I have to spend 100+ bucks every year for a new mouse because it will just give up.. or I have to search and search for another, less popular manufacturer that does a shape that fits my hand/grip every time I need a new one.. sucks.
Unfortunately for me the MZ1, has to date been the mouse I've enjoyed the most, I saw the most improvements both in game and ergonomically for my hand and wrist. Though, I've now got a WL beast x mini on the way that I'm excited about and hope it'll become my new daily.
And razer released a cheaper version of the deathadder v3 pro, and discounted the pro, so right now it's only 15 bucks cheaper lol
Xtrfy M8 looks like a mix of G Pro and classic IntelliMouse. Even more so with the button height, red accents and 2 color gray'n white body. I don't think it's unique in this regard. Not the topic of the video exactly but wanted to chime in when you mentioned history of the brand. Thanks!
I always wanted to try the M4 shape, but the wire didn't appeal to me. I hope retailers get a FIXED second batch of these in stock here already.

I've been watching your vids all evening ^^ since my deathadder v3 pro scroll wheel click died I was looking for the replacement and your channel is wonderful. As an video editor myself I enjoyed the quality and the memes, alongside with useful info. P.S. While I was watching your videos my scroll wheel came back to life, no jokes it works fine atm and it did not worked at all yesterday... hmm
this would be an easy buy if it came with Cherry MX browns

Too bad the Ultra ERGO MAX M64 Milk Edition kept the same design/placement of the side buttons from the M4. They were SO HIGH UP and annoying to use. Add to it the squishy scroll and my M4 has come out of the box maybe twice for 15 minutes each time in the 2-3 years I've had it. I want to like the shape, but it's apparently made for people with platypus tails for fingers.

Honestly all they needed to do is just make solid shell m42 with 50-60g weight and that would be enough. How the fuck did they managed to make a swiss cheese mouse with a ~75g weight is beyond me to this day
I've had the jumping scroll wheel issue with my mz1 wireless too.. I love the shape but sadly stopped using it due to the wonky scroll wheel
Not just me, hey. I got it because I loved the shape but I would get random weapon switches when playing r6s with no input. After all the QC issues I had with the original's wire, I just gave up. Wanted to like Xtrfy so much, but while the wireless implementation was excellent, the continual problems were a pain given the price.
@@MrRollingcabbage My wired mz1 hasn't had any issues. Xtrfy has so much potential and are soo close to being great. I'm sorry about your experience with their products. I really want to love them too
Used a M4 for a very long time and i will definitely give a try to their M64 at some point in the furure when my honeymoon with the Lamzu Thorn is over.

@Guarrow it's mostly the antivax/"covid is bioweapon" conspiracy stuff from few years ago where he went all crazy with how "the virus was meant to be worse but it got leaked early".
There were few really questionable opinions too regarding LGBT and race stuff if I recall correctly but Zy has tried to remove every screenshot uploaded I think.

The scroll wheel issue is a BIG L for Cherry.
The biggest disgrace that I've noticed with one of these mice -- the cherry xtrfy logo isn't centered. 6:24 - 6:32 😂
I quite like my xtrfy m8, but I doubt I'll ever be buying another xtrfy mouse again.

His mouse is made for a specific hand size and grip type. The comfort groves being extremely exaggerated don't allow for others to find a comfortable placement ontop. It's apparent that many reviewers, including him, don't always know what's best for everyone. This really is something you just have to try for yourself because of the many factors that work for you, may not work for everyone else. What Zy said that made me not trust him anymore was you needed to adjust to his mouse shape for a couple months. What that turns into is a mouse that's not for you that's past it's return window.
lowkey Microsoft mouses have the best small shapes but they make nothing for gaming which is crazy not to see

neither. I think a backup for saka is more important so we don't have a guy being ran in to the ground every game. I also don't think that buying a striker will dramatically improve that much when compared to adding depth in key areas. we literally have to go against city who have set a standard of if you don't play perfectly throughout the whole season you won't win the league.
I think quality backups are more important as that's the area we lack in when compared to city. they have depth for a league title push.

We hit the limit years ago. Ignore the noise from adderall boosted zoomers who plug their mice directly into their neurolink adapter for an extra 0.01MS latency

the only breakthroughs I think that could happen that would provide actual noticeable benefits is probably in the shape/materials area.
I think the only mice alternatives I have any interest in exploring is probably stylus and maybe trackballs
When you have a mouse that's 99% accurate and with 2ms delay, it's not exactly game changing going to a mouse with 99.9% accuracy and 1ms delay. These things reached diminishing returns years ago
