Back in the days when FORD was rock solid and had a beautifull design. It all went to the gutter when the name dissapeared.

I wouldn’t change with no clutch even with a synchromesh box as instead of wearing clutch plate down you wear the collars down between the gears and when they wear all gears will be hard to get without crunching. Basically not using clutch turns a synchromesh box into a bad version of a sliding mesh box. No matter if you can do it or not just don’t.
