You know, I kinda miss Tomcat171. His playthrough of this mission where he took off right as the missiles were smashing into the runway where he had been just moments before was unforgettable.

Honestly, Ac6 is my 2nd favorite because it feels like you're actually part of a military rather than just a one man army. That and this mission alone is one of my favorites out of all AC missions.
Exactly! It's especially prominent in the previous mission where you're on your own, completely surrounded by the enemy, making you realize you're not exactly the one-man army that you think you are like in previous games. It's a nice change of pace for an arcade flight series, and I love it. ❤️

When I play this level and that main motif in the soundtrack comes in, it sends shivers right down my spine. Every time.
Even if you didn't like the rest of the game, you have to admit this is one of the coolest missions in Ace Combat history.
Side note: round of applause to the maps team for making Gracemeria feel like such a real place.
prolly one of the best missions in AC history tbh. it legit has everything. a plethora of targets and a challenging ace.
This, and the mission prior to it, are easily some of the best.
As well, the fucking soundtrack of AC6 is genuinely wonderful.

Also who thought it was a good idea to give all the aces in the Emmerian Air Force American jets but Sky kid gets the Mir. 2000
It's been theorized that by the time the war broke out, the Emmerian military was in the process of undergoing a modernisation. This can be seen in the navy as well. Outside of the Marigold, the Emmerian Navy just has a bunch of old frigates classified as destroyers
This would help explain why they took such heavy losses early on in the war.

Tbh "Liberation of Gracemeria" soundtrack gave me goosebumps...
The Liberation of Gracemaria theme in the background sending chills down my spine every time I hear it.
I'm South Korean. So I was able to immerse myself more strongly because the crisis of the Republic of Emmeria seemed similar to that of South Korea during the Korean War.
In such a situation, the feeling of reversing the situation around the main characters, me and Garuda squadron is unforgettable like a veteran's memory.
'The Liberation of Gracemeria' chapter is almost feels like 'Incheon Landing Operation'.
DUUUDE! The player timed the destruction of the enemy carrier nearly PERFECTLY with the crescendo of the music - one of the greatest tracks in all AC scroes! Well done!
One of my favorite missions. I love when you have radio chatter from military and civilian channels. Adds a cool aspect to the mission.
The overacting in Ghost Eye's voice at 10:00 is honestly my favorite part of the game

Man AC7 AI was worthless, and if you pay attention was deliberately nerfed by Devs because the loud minority went apeshit about AC6 AI being just that good and feel their dick shrunk (It's not just Shamrock, the rest of the Garudas can finish operation without help).
@@victoriazero8869 I just played AC7 for the first time, in some mission where I have to take on an arsenal bird the player "team" are even explicitly told to not even give the player cover from all the fucking drones it launches.
I will not play AC7 again, even AC:AH was better.
@@henrikknudsen8125 I have never until now seen someone that thinks AH is better than AC7, Assault Horizon was a CoD with fighter jets mess that had more scripting and cutscenes than gameplay. AC7 is a proper AC game through and through which is why it's currently the best selling game in the franchise. Allied AI is useless but literally everything else about the game is good lmfao, plus it's success is the only reason we will be getting an AC8.

Never got to liberate Grecemaria sadly, I got stuck on the mission taking down that big ass sky carrier. I was a kid when I got this game, but now as an adult I feel sad I didnt get to take back our homeland.

This is hands done one of the greatest late campaign levels in gaming.
The fact that the only buildup for Pasternak's soundtrack is dialogue and the sound of your missiles is really unique and very awesome

Grip Runner 420 also, destroyed enemy’s are solid models that can collide and kill you-at the very least, the E-767s and EA-200s can

I really wish AC7 had squad mechanics and the conversation system like 5, 0, and 6
I have learned the mechanics of the cfa-44, how to increase speed rapidly other than normal acceleration and using g-turn without stalling for long period, 720 turn etc. :
takes time to master it though.
Oh please do tell, or better yet please show, and don't tell me it's as simple as using the prototype, ACES, or razgriz versions, I'm sure a lot of players would like to know it.

something interesting I've noticed is that the end of the war in an ace combat game never ends up being the end of the war. in AC5, after Yuktobania and Osea stop fighting, they still have to fight the Belkans. in AC4, after farbanti, theres still the megalith battle (I think, idk AC4 is the one I know the least about). in AC0, after the dam is destroyed, you still have to shoot down Pixy to stop the V2. in AC7, there's still everything that happens after Farbanti. AC6, there's still Estovakia trying to nuke Emmeria after you take back Gracemeria
Even in project wingman of all things, there's still Presidia getting nuked after the ceasefire is declared and then the battle with crimson 1. even the fan games do this
Pasternak's sound track is so strange, I love it. It matches almost nothing in Ace 6 and it stands out well for me.
Absolutely like the music here and if you're wondering the F-15E it's actually in the endgame cover provided you own the game then put it into the Xbox One since January 19th 2019 when was reverse compatible with the disc

That Strigon plane you fight is also like a dlc plane you can buy and I got it and one of its weapons is firing like 12 to 24 missiles at once, very powerful
Taylor Ramirez it's not a dlc and you don't have to buy it just beat the game on like hard or ace idk but I've done all missions on every difficulty but STILL don't have the estovakian or ace camo/livery
to get estovokian livery buy all planes and unlock the colours of all the planes by shooting down the special named aces in each mission. to get the unique livery for the CFa44 you have to get all gold medals.
@@xx4u2fearxx89 You can buy the plane, (not anymore) although the Proyect ACES one, which has less payload. To unlock all colors for the CFA you have to unlock all medals in order to get the 3rd color.
@Taylor Ramirez to get the Estovakian color for the CFA-44 you have to unlock estovakian SP colors for all other planes then do a single mission and you will unlock Pasternaks color but the ACES Skin was a DLC to get Estovakian SP color for the CFA-44 you need 15 service medals and all operation medals to unlock it.
Im gonna be honest, this is one of favorite missions in the whole franchise

This beats the 2nd battle of Farbanti in Ace Combat 7 any day.
I definitely had fun with Farbanti, but it can't beat this mission. Taking back the runway you took off from in the beginning of the game was so awesome once you could use it again.
to be honest, I think you are a little trigger happy with the missiles.

My thoughts with (ace combat6) is that although it's not strong with Story and length, it makes up for it in Graphics design , replays , Visuals !!
Plus I haven't played all the games in Sequence yet but like other series this one doesn't 'flow' so smooth like or linear

Every time the guy berated me, saying one bit of my army or another 'couldn't do it alone', I'd laugh and imagine going back to launch a missile at his face because this entire game is about one mute pilot carrying an entire war single handed.

all of those aces have G-force immunity or max there stats in order to achieve those they endure so much endurance training
