Outside of the interior, it's sometimes not actually that hard to know that a car has been facelifted, especially for some car models like the Lexus ES, it's relatively easy to spot it with the Lexus ES, the front always looks slightly wider than the door areas, like two sections that were not suppose to fit together. What annoys me is when car dealers try selling a facelift as a newer model for the same price as the actual newer model; like bro, do you think everybody is stupid or what?. I can't imagine how many people would have bought old model cars thinking it was a newer model.
I just stumbled upon this channel and I must say I'm impressed, as a car enthusiast I've been watching top gear (UK car TV show) for about 20 years and this lovely work from a domestic production in Nigeria. More grease to your elbows. One thing though; speaking about interior upgrades, I have a 2008 Lexus IS250 (upgraded to 2014) and I installed the android infotainment system while watching the process on TH-cam, and it was straight forward without any issues, I think it just depends on the product and the technician. If you plug the right wires into the right socket, everything should work perfectly fine.

Upgrade is when you buy the facelifted model parts and fix it on the pre-facelifted model. it'll also be nice to mention that so people will know.

I drive a 2010 Lexus ES350, and I so much hate when people facelift this already perfect car. It's devalued when a car of older model is altered in the front to look new, while the back look still remains the older model, infact, from the look of it, it becomes funny and childish when I see a Lexus that is facelift because definitely the back still tell what year it is. Mine is left clean and sharp without any Upgrades, I focus on making it cleaner and solid. If I want a later year model, I will sell this one, add money and buy another year's model
How come one of the most common upgrades is not here. I know you would agree with me that upgrading the Mercedes Benz ML 350, 2013 to 2016 to a GLE63AMG is very common in Nigeria now.
