- I had no idea this would be the last proper wild camp I'd do for a while, which makes it even more special. I hope you're all staying at home and helping make this easier on our heroic NHS staff and everyone else working to help beat this thing into touch. You're all double hard and have my full love and respect.

In France we're about to enter the 3rd week of house arrest & things are very tense. We were told yesterday that there will be no parole until June now, so something's gonna pop. The UK has been dragging it's feet but usually ends up emulating Europe's ever increasing Draconian measures. Commiserations to all those who will lose their jobs & to those who will suffer mental problems due to the forced confinement. Alas, there are casualties & collatoral damge in every conflict.
A change in geo-politics where humanity comes together in brotherly love is prehaps a little utopic, crises may bring out the best in some people but they also reveal the worst in many.
My humblest respect to the doctors, nurses & other health carers, who are struggling to deal with the consequences of one bad political descision after another & to all those 'little people'( in the food supply chains, lorry drivers, cleaners, etc.) who are currently keeping our societies afloat, you may be forgotten again when all this is over but for now, you are our heroes.

Working 50+ full on hectic non stop heavy lifting hours a week in a Dot com department loading vans with food for customers , look forwards to your vids when I get home and my six year old has gone to bed Hazy lad thanks , from the heart as usual lad . Tough times and people need to escape so keep up the video's .

Oooh, the sound of that tent door zip opening at 2.52 gave me heart palpitations - I think I actually swooned a little at that heavenly sound. I haven't had a night outdoors in a tent since November, and as we're totally locked-down here in Poland, I think it'll be a fair few weeks before I get out again. But for the greater good we need to sit this one out and let the heroes on the frontline of the fight concentrate on what needs to be done.
So until that time when the tent is strapped to my bag and the boots are strapped to my feet again, I guess I'll sit here, mentally make various packing lists, sip some Lagavulin, re-watch all these videos (for the 3rd or 4th time), and hope for the best for us all. Peace everyone, be careful IN there.

Just Found your Channel sir haze and it’s helping me and the wife out in these trying times, we, like many I recon use the outdoors as our escape to gain headspace and clarity and I know from living with anxiety & depression, that having that restricted, all be it temporarily can be tough on said ‘noggin’. I hope After this is all said and done we will all be more thankful for our environment! stay safe out there mate and the rest of you wonderful uk folk. Thanks for the video mate. I have similar thoughts. I'm so worried for our older folk and the infirm. I know we have been too comfortable and this is what is needed to make us more human again, but I do worry about the losses.

I’m lucky enough to still be in work as I work in the medical supplies industry, but I also know what it’s like being in your position. I once stayed in a mates shed on his allotment for 6 months through winter. Christmas Day in a shed is both depressing and humbling at the same time. You will bounce back mate.
