@@Spikew which one? "The Half Elf, Pink, and the Bard" is a reference to their video "Bardic Inspiration" And the "sudden burst of Australian" was at 1:20 when Antrius says "Antrius the great and his bloody good mates" in a very Australian accent.
Now I just want to see an episode in which Nixie gets into a magic duel with someone that has a spell with more range than fireball and just consistently stays 5 feet out of fireball range.
I love the detail of the "dirt" on their faces. Evandra has blood on her face likely from killing people. Nixie has soot likely from all the fireballs and everything she likely burned down. And Antrius has his eye liner running like he was... crying??
Nope! Not true at all! Actuall dragon. Gold one, even! I Tried to steal the tax mony, failed horribly. Its good that I have uncanny dodge but boy half my body sure is burned! The adreline right now allows me to spea.. *blacks out due to pain and failing con test*
It is a joy to watch them three together again. The group name is really tricky thing. My party had some silly name and it was a bit awkward to proudly announce themselves to a local noble or ruler.
You know, I have played in many campaigns, and one even went for 3 years. though we had a "campaign name", I have never had a party name. I for one, welcome our Sex Hobo overlords.

no one gonna mention how The Awful Ones is what they're called in the dnd game, Idle Champions? This episode just brings it all full circle and i love it
I noticed that is when their views started dropping as well. I just binged the entire series and noticed a drastic change in tone when they took out the IRL tabletop part. That was literally half the fun. Still love them though
My, my The Awful ones. What a grand and adventurous crew. Surly they won't cause awful trouble through the land. Matter of fact, sounds like a an awfully good time to me.
Between "Half Elf, Pink, and the Bard" and finally recognizing "The All For Ones" As their group name, I was stupid excited for this one... Unfortunately, the person in charge of printing the wanted posters had Common as their second language.
amazing production value as always, but i especially liked the illustration for the wanted poster! i would definitely read a graphic novel in that style :v
I think I commented this on the “Bardic Inspiration” episode, but I like to think that Antrius refers to Nixie as “Pink” because he genuinely doesn’t know what a tiefling is.
Not to get too into it, this is the first TH-cam video I've been able to sit and watch since welcoming my daughter to the world just under two weeks ago. It's been wonderful, yes, but also incredibly stressful, taxing, and exhausting. I appreciate this little spot of goofy levity amongst a difficult transition in my life. Thank you so much, Deerstalker Cast and Crew. 🙏
The best way to do it is take vermintide approach 1. Take the town name. Usually the best option is town where heroes either met or did some great things (like saved it) 2. Term to descibe them 3. Number of people in team Example from vermintide: Bloody Ubereisk Five Example from my DND game: Damned Großheim Three
Just wanted to say - the last 3 rag-tag groups I have been part of (including our current ongoing where my kobold monk should NOT be in charge of naming anything) never actually had a "group name".
@@dawidscheffler7152 I've yet to run a campaign in the last... ohmygosh 40 YEARS!?... that has had the player characters have a group name. One of the two sci-fi campaigns, they announced themselves as the crew of {whatever ship they were flying at the time].
Recently chose the party name, "The Light of Hope", after seeing a passing reference in an anime listing other parties in the area (which are not encountered in the anime).
"I am channelling the dictionaray!" (Yes, know it's "dictionary", I spelt it like that because of the accent) is definitely a line I need to use in my next DnD Campaign.
Ive only ever been part of one party that actually had a name for ourselves. After a heated debate about the shared values of our characters, and an agreement to a long term goal, we had our name. We were called: The Cheese Makers! Due to circumstances forcing our hand, it took a revolution of the kingdom before we could finally get some land to truly do that name justice.
Liked, subscribed and commented. Saving my 80,000 coin. But it would be interesting to see the Awful Ones fight a dragon. They might need that bardic inspiration song!
I kinda miss when they were also playing dnd and not just entirely within the fantasy world they were playing. i’d have preferred to see the above table stuff like that whole argument actually happen above table, on a couch over a tableful of dice and miniatures before flashing back for the npcs reaction to their conclusion.
I remember my DM naming the party "The Daring Diadems" but I heard it wrong and said "THE DARING DIE DUCKS" every time we introduced ourselves. It's a surprise we didn't fight over it.
I'm in three different campaigns ATM. First one, we named ourselves The Sinner's Court (as in a royal court) because every member has their sins they try to hide or make up for and we all also kinda sorta want to reform the government for the people. My Dragonlance game, I came in at level 5 to an established group called the Troubadours, aka the Troubledoers. Still no name for our Strahd party.
Finally the three adventurers have a name for the group and end up be wanted post the "awful one". Least people now who them during their adventure in the world. This video is amazing, dramatic and funny.
"That's very brave to say from someone in Fireball range."
Never change Nixie, never change.
Loves me a Jocat reference!
"Hm..."
"Hm."
"Hm..."
I would use fire wall^^
"Half Elf, Pink, and the Bard." I understood that reference.
I also appreciate a sudden burst of Australian.
It was a SHOCKER from the fireball queen....
could you please enlighten us non down underers?

all I could think of after reading this was "Pinky and the Brain". :) lol
The Sexhobos is probably the best name they came up with. Although "Nixie and her friends that are always in fireball range" is a close second
The ironic part is that Nixie's fireballs are her friends
It's got a nice ring to it
My vote is for "Half-elf, Pink and the Stink" 😂
Yeah, I like Sex Hobos better.
Second? Thats pretty brave to say for someone in fireball range
I like Nixies comment about being within fireball range 😂
Same, it's so silly 💜💗💛💙
they teach you these in fireball 101 - but im pretty sure nixie is selftaught XD

HALF ELF, PINK, AND THE BARD! reference from the song for bardic inspiration i also said should be their party name
Pink do you think what I am thinking ?
Nixie came up with 3 great garage band names
I think I saw the Sex Hobos open for the Ramones back in '78...
As it turns out the Herald's wife was an ordinary human. He just habitually called her "my dragon wife."
BASIL!

With my last party being made up of in universe college students, we ended up calling ourselves the Monster F*ckers.
They managed to use EVERY, and I mean EVERY naming trope ever. And it was glorious!
I still argue that "The sex Hobos" would've had more of an impact, but The awful ones will do.

To be fair, "The Adventure Friends" was already the best party name they ever came up with

More Likely "Adventurous Fiends"
It also goes with the song "That's What Friends Are For".

I vote for "Hot Sex Hobos". That would include all three members.
Lol. But "hobos" describes all three, and there's nothing specific to Evandra.
Murderous sex fiends.

Best band name
I just broke down laughing when she said that. I wish that was the name they went with.

I like the name Evandra came up with. also, nixie is still adorable, even when covered in soot.
