Im a month in on ur program and now i have a 36 inch box jump i was so hyped and thought that i had a 36 inch vert. But i actually just had a 30 cause knee tucks don't count
I did this program already. It’s more geared for overall athleticism rather than just vertical jump. It does prevent you from injury, however my quickness and agility have always been my advantage. I did not get the vertical jump results I was looking for, but maybe someone with a younger training age will. Well rounded program though.
Very true. It has everything. As for the results, training age definitely plays a huge role and maybe you'd fair better with VCE. Although Gazelle Mode and Mac phases I would have thought would bring some gains for someone like you.
@@NathanaelMorton I’ve done plyos my whole life, so I have no issues with my rate of force development. I do struggle the most with weight room absolute strength and reversal strength. I feel I have a 38-40” vertical in me which would get me a dunk on a regulation hoop. It literally feels like there is a force holding my old ass down haha. I feel strong and bouncy but when I go to jump I know I lose energy during the horizontal to vertical transfer.
I did 2x this program (back to back) - excellent, detailed, and always nice videos with explanations... PJF is the man, previously I was doing Vert Code Elite, Fat Don't Fly, and part of the Speed Code. You will not regret whatever you choose, as long as you give 100% 💪
@@abcd-uo9mo Maybe a couple of inches, nothing special BUT I'm 43 yo, and after this program, I feel bouncier, and in better overall shape than at the beginning
Looks good to me...gonna do the body weight program for my son who just turned 12, figured it would be a great all around athletic basic training program for him to get started.
Great job explaining the different levels. Is this program good for a beginner or should you have more experience before attempting. Also you didn’t explain how to shower. Inquiring minds want to know 🙃
Great for a beginner yes, although you may want to spend more than 2 weeks in the prep phase. The contrast shower was hot and cold off and on for 9 minutes!
Hi Nathanael! Great vid 👏 Be honest, do you think it’s possible to dunk with a program like this when you are 38 yo, a 185cm (6.06) height guy with a 179cm (5.87) wingspan and only able to touch the bottom of the basketball backboard? Thanks in advance!
@@NathanaelMortoncant wait! Also you should do an honest review on where your program stands with all the programs u have reviewed! Thinkin of gettin on a program soon
I currently have Fat Don’t Fly and the Durability Code. Should I wait until the off season to do these or could I still do them while in season? If so, how could I incorporate them in season? Currently in season for college basketball
You could definitely do Durability Code in season. If you have excess body fat then you can do FDF and use your basketball for the cardio that he has, and skip the low level extensive plyos. Whatever you get from basketball skip in his program.
I love PJF, I have this program but have yet to finish it though. I find the workout videos have a lot of explaining and I'm always needing to find a way to do his stuff without the equipment he has, which makes the workouts take a long time. I'm older and have kids and don't have as much time so right now I'm doing Just Jumari's program (kinda put together in a pieced together document sort of way, but the exercises are more simple) and work for me and my schedule. I'll eventually get back to PJF mac maclung stuff once my life is less busy. But I follow all you guys and have learned a lot, THP, Movement System, E3 Rehab, PJF, and the goat of goats, Nathanael Morton
Love this and couldn’t agree more brother. Gotta do the program that fits most with your lifestyle. As long as you’re training and progressing then there’s nothing more I could ask for!
It’s a great program and you could do either of them and get excellent results - but VCE is a year long. Tough to beat that. Do one and then the other 💪🏼
My BTR2 Program (honestly). Vert Code Elite. Chris Spell Jump Academy or Overtime Athletes Flight System. Jordan Kilganon had a great program too. Honestly hard to say - I would have to go back and look because I forget the specifics of each.

Vertical is mostly genetic. It’s like bodybuilding. Sure, I can train and eat like Ronnie Coleman, but no matter how closely I follow his program I will never see those results.

Hey great review. Any chance you can review a speed and agility program for a young soccer player? I was considering overtime athletics.
Hi coach, just wondering if you could do a good drills dunk program review by coach bobby whyte and coach ross? Much apprecited if u could.
Great review but what happened to the daily uploads? An update on whats going on would be nice
thanks for video! Can u do a review of amir performance program off season edition

Hi Im 13 years old and do you have any tips how much KG should i curl
Please bro i need help
Bicep curl? Curl as much as you can for 3 sets of 8-15 reps. Then continue to try to curl more KG as you get stronger.

Yes, but it would take 3-5 years of consistent training without injury. Just being brutally honest.
Maybe quicker if your body responds well and you really have a great strategy. But AT LEAST 1-2 years of consistent training.
Thanks a lot for this honest answer 🙏
I will maybe try it just to see how my body response and at least be a better baller than before the training 🤞

Whats your take on the vertical pull exercises? Do u orefer the good old pullups or the pjf style 1 arm pull down with a twist?
Personally I prefer pull ups but there’s no issue with doing both. Switching between is fine

would you recommend THP over this?
For vertical jump and raw inches, yes. For a basketball player looking to get more athletic all around, no.
