It's so crazy cause this game was no where on my radar once i played 40 hours on the demo & the amount that was on it alone i had to see more!!

Same! 50 hours in the demo and 26 hours into the main game already I’m loving this shit and I didn’t even know it existed until I saw Globku’s video
never heard of this game until today and it looks kinda fun. I don't have ps4 nor 5, so can't play the demo. I am wondering why would people spend 20+ hours on demo? Do they let you go through the entire story?

Man, the art direction and the various of playable characters on this really sold me
this game was worth the 7 year long wait. it is so incredibly polished. the combat is so so smooth its crazy.

Your comment just reminded me of how stacked these first two months are. It’s honestly kinda crazy. Like, we got the Apollo Justice Trilogy, Relink, FF7 Rebirth, Tekken 8, Under Night In-Birth Sys:Celes, and Persona 3 Reload all just within these first two months

There was 2 other omens in the demo area right where you was playing with katalina behind that house and right before where you talk to move on to your right. You can also replay the story quest mission after completion of the story

i only wanted this for multiplayer online with a friend. wasn't convinced trying the demo with the missions using siegfried, seems a bit slow, but the full game with more skills is actually that good? guess it is
7hrs in, incredible experience so far. Story, graphics, rpg elements, huge list of characters with their own unique gameplay.
Highly recommend switching to Japanese VA before starting. They got KENJIRO TSUDA, one of the best VA in the industry

This game is NOT messing around with finding items lmaoo its hard to find some small items and to help some of you TURN AROUND when a mission starts cause theres a good chance theres something behind you that you can just miss 😭
Can confirm, mission replay is available, and you can exit a mission if you just needed to collect something.
The only hard part I see about playing this game is enjoying all these characters, its very rare for a action RPG to have as many playable characters as this game does, especially when all those characters are all unique and fun a hell to play, which makes it hard to choose who to play as each time you do anything since their all a blast in their own right
original moba game has 300+ playable characters so yeah
I've heard nothing but good things about it. I'll get it next week.

This game is everything Final Fantasy 16 should have been. a fun action oriented combat system with depth and actual RPG mechanics. Oh and a roster of characters that have character.
Weird take. Relink is a MH-esque anime ARPG with a very short and linear single player campaign attached to it - regardless of its quality and shortcomings, that's what FF16 should have been to you?

So i know nothing about grand blue fantasy do I have to play the other games in order to know what’s going on and to know the characters and story any help is appreciated
No, the story in this game is game Orginal and there’s a glossary in the game that’ll help you get to know the things/characters mentioned in the game
You DO NOT need to play any of the other games. I also believe they all just play the same story about darkness spreading and the primal beasts going crazy which ultimately leads you to the antagonist. The plot is extremely mid and the story is played safe as hell with no real stakes.
Every single character is one dimensional, has the same bland heroic trait while each having a single generic anime tropey personality. But all criticism aside you're playing the game for the epic and fantastic gameplay, bosses, fights, moment to moment action and adventure, systems, and world. That's what you get lost in and invested in regards to this game/franchise
just like versus, this game is seems to be happening currently in separate universe kind of thing (which is canon to the og game, btw), so no - all info you NEED to know should be in the game

for people who know grandblue fantasy will I need to play other games to play this one? I am very interested on story and gameplay since I am a tales fan but am nervous I wont get full enjoyment since I wont know parties backstories or how they came to be as a crew. I assume this game will explain things but for people who have played full game early or people who have played demo please let me know. I skimmed this video mainly to see more gameplay.
You don't need to play other games, however a lot of the character's relationships may be confusing initially.

how much of the game is online co-op? the whole story or only some other modes?
Checking around to see but there's going to be a bunch of side quests that are Co-Op however the actual campaign may not be. I'll update if I get anymore confirmations but that's all I see so far
Story is strictly single player. But most of the missions outside of story is co-op. Apparently there’s over 100 quests to do in online

well, the creators of the mobile game and of course this game are ex-squaresoft(now square-enix) employees, and the game director for this game is an ex- platinum games who work on games like Metal Gear Rising Revengence, Neir Automata and Bayonetta 2, is pretty much the reason why the game is very good

Beat the story but the online matchmaking it's kinda a bust literally can't hardly match with anyone the constant connection errors needs looked onto idk if it's lack of players online but Iv only played online with others about 6 times

If the designs of the main squad would not be so damn boring...like u have made a character like cloud, sora, sephiroth, lion heart, noctis, yozora and many many more cool characters and the next thing u do is designing a squad that looks like coming straight from an failed generic isekai Anime.
