Honda Civic Type R vs. BMW M2 Competition - 50k€ Car Battle on the Nürburgring

For 50k, would you either get an used M2 or a new Civic Type-R ? BMW M2 for me ✌

Had an M2, got a Type R now. Both have pro and cons but overall I like the Type R more.
More space, yet lighter, if both manual then the Type R's gearbox is leagues ahead.
Steering is better too and the seats are some of the best.
M2 for rwd, i6 engine, nice Sound and beautiful Coupé form.
Can't go wrong with either, both are fun.

yes definitely M2C, FL5 has never have a chance against an M2C, yes it can try to be closer to the M2C but still cant the type r cant be on the same level as the M2C.

I would like to drive a Type R but the M2 comp is an excellent value for 50k. Will be faster than the Type R and RWD is always more fun but the Type R will have the better transmission (if both are manual) and steering probably

not bad for the civic knowing it has 90hp less than the M2 and it seems the you were pulling on him on straight line only. the M2 and the civic were killing everyone else

The fact that that type r was in view most of the time is amazing let alone vs a m2 comp dct it would have been 6spd and I think the type r would have had the advantage
