I personally ride this bike. Agree w this review 100%! Windshield, suspension, motor feel sluggish beyond 80 plus. And the wheel grip! Minor fish tail in carpark on slippery surface. Minor additions if it helps. Adv 160 made in Indonesia, while adv 150 was from Thailand. Also wind onto chest maybe due to slit on windshield, as adv150 has no slit on windshield.
For me, I'd change the tires out. Maybe even change the suspension. For a lepak ride, its prefect. Terima kasih kerana menonton, really appreciate your input
@Taufiq Al-Hidayat to ride around SG, this is a good bike. Fuel consumption is great! Maneuvers well, not great for very tight turns, U-turn also abit wider but still within 2 lanes. Cannot expect speed like sports bike. Great underseat storage also, 22L. 1 helmet and small stuff like raincoat or A5 size messenger bag. I have no opinion about N max. Was same situation as you, between these 2 bikes. If you can fork out abit more, go ahead w this cause NMax is slightly cheaper. I am comforted w the rear SHOWA suspension of adv 160 and fuel consumption and 250km run till it hits reserve tank
@@Zharfan14 thanks bro! Haha speed wise I'm ok, mostly just gonna be use for work. Was considering this due to upgraded CC and bigger fuel tank compared to NMax, since I usually pump at JB. So I prefer to have more fuel to tahan till I go JB. Tyres wise, better to change out the stock ones? And what about the availability of parts, and maintenance cost? Tend to not see much ADV160 on the road, so I'm not sure how the availability of spare parts will be unless it's roughly the same as ADV150. Currently riding a Yamaha, was told in terms of parts and maintenance, Honda is a bit on the higher side in terms of cost? Oh yes bro sorry one more thing, how does it perform with pillion?
@Taufiq Al-Hidayat tyres I am unsure to change out. I am okay cause my riding is quite chill, no corner baring all. Manual does reccomend Federal Tyre. I go to speedzone, there is where I bought my bike. Haven't hit 6k mileage, which is the next big maintenance. So far only change engine oil. About 20 per EO change Availability of parts is quite okay. I see Malaysia market quite alot, with ppl mod their bike Unsure if which Honda is more costly, I don't compare between brands. But as Farhan said, cannot go wrong w Japanese bikes. I carry pillion everyday! My bike is made in Indonesia. So max load is 142kg, as per manual. Me and wife is above it, will be slower and sluggish cause heavier but works fine. Fuel consumption ofc increase also
You said you feel that there are better automatic scooters out there...Can you please mention them? I'd like to compare. I have not ridden this yet, but it is the first negative review. So now I am scratching my head. Please point me in the direction of other scooters in this class or near it that you feel a definitely better. Also if you feel if there are better "dual role" scooters that can take on poor dirt roads in rural areas of Southeast Asia. Thank you for your time.
This is a good bike for a beginner, given the power to weight ratio. It is light and fast. Having said that, I would do away with the stock tyres and install a set of road tyres for better traction. Love the naked handlebar bcos u can install phone mount and IU mount on it. Don't need to mount on mirror as that makes it ugly.
Urgent question, need any bros to answer asap. Deciding withint Honda ADV 160 vs Nmax V2. Paid deposit for Nmax Which one more stable on highway. Personally tried Nmax is pretty good wana know if Adv is better or not.
Opinion on this vs burg 200 plz? In terms of performance and reliability. Aesthetically it’s very personal, but i like both. Storage no question goes to the burg.
I couldn’t understand what he said about his height. I heard him say he has a ride height of 38cm and is 6’5” tall, though he doesn’t look that. Can someone hear what he is saying between 5:50 - 5:60 about his height?
WHY do you say there is nothing you can do about suspension being rough on scooters?.....NOT TRUE! ........have you ridden a Kymco maxi scooter?????...........they have PERFECT smooth suspension!
Transponder key....because who wants turn a little key 1 inch to the right😂 Until your in middle of forest and your key battery dies out, I will definitely carry extra key batteries, and hope I don't accidentally break the plastic key fob!!
Not a very helpful review. If you have a problem with the suspension, acceleration, windshield, etc., then please compare it to other vehicles in its class. It's just a point A to Z commuter scooter? Then compare it to other 100-200cc scooters! My bicycle performs very badly on the highway....but it's a BICYCLE!
This guy isn't really well informed what scooter he is reviewing. He just rode it for a few kilometers and blurted out what he just felt. Not much experience or exposure. You want speed better ride a sports bike. You want a comfortable ride go for the bigger scooters like the Xmax or Xtown. It doesn't have a kill switch? Dude use the side stand. Need better tires? Those are dual sport tires both for road and off road. You didn't even try it on the dirt!
Love your reviews bro. Especially your positive and light hearted vibes. Everyone should be happy and start laughing and smiling like you. Keep it up!
Thanks man!!

so what's your honest opinion bro? I'm looking to get scooters in the 2B range, high chance either this or NMax.

Burg is bigger. Feels like a Class 2A bike with the size.

Adv 160 or nmax turbo better?
ADV160. Honda engine bulletproof. The Turbo in the NMAX is not even an actual turbo
Which has a more comfortable riding posture , adv160 or nmax ?
both are somewhat the same
@@tambakoverlanders thanks for the reply. I guess the best way to find out is to rent both bike and try for myself 😂😂💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼
Adv 350 please !

Definately the ADV
@@tambakoverlanders Thank you so much for replying! I thought you preferred the Nmax. I love your channel. Big thanks from Australia!
