Went there for a Geology field trip back in 1979. I’m glad it’s lasted so that new generations of Geology students have been bored rigid, trying to draw it in torrential rain.☔️ 😀
65/67 or so years ago there was a path along the top and as kids we would run along it to the end to absolute horror of watching adults, about 55 years ago I went back as an adult and shared the horror felt by those adults. "Ouch" we must been seriously bonkers. :( It has seen a few storms I wonder how long it will last? thank you for posting :)
I wonder how old Durdle Door is, and also how long it will last. Arch Rock at Freshwater Bay on the Isle of Wight collapsed in the early 90s, the 'doughnut' at Porthcothan in Cornwall was all but demolished by angry waves about nine years ago, and the enormous Azure Window on Gozo, Malta, also disappeared without trace in 2017, probably helped by groups of holidaymakers (not Saga, apparently) jumping up and down on it.
Beautiful I've been thier ang the big whole rock was Amazing..
Wow, that’s the sort of storm that will bring it down eventually.
Lol get out

Beach + waves = South coast early winter in the UK...

Not much more than a rough day in summer
Shame it only lasted for 35 seconds! Could have watched that for 10 mins or so!
