Are you daft? Cutting down a tree, while not GOOD for the environment, in this case is a net-positive. We will never advance as a species if we cannot get over these petty squabbles. The bike path will reduce pollution. The trees will regrow. All things in time, young idiot. All things in time.

If a speed limit had been imposed on the cycle path, the trees would have been fine. Let us have monster wide expanses of barren tarmac in various states of disrepair and nothing to absorb the noise .... Soviet Russia. Isn't that road enough of a mess without this ?
